면적감소계수에 따른 첨두유량의 비교 분석 (Comparison and analysis of peak flow by Areal Reduction Factor)

  • The practice of business estimate flood discharge by rainfall-flow relation that is easy collection of observation data. The important factor is rainfall, coefficient of runoff, and drainage area for analysis of runoff-flow relation. The practice of business usually use probability rainfall that use a weighted average value after each observation post estimate probability of non-same time. It has more error than same time probability rainfall, and it can excess of estimation because it can't consider space distribution of rainfall. The study of result showed similar aspect with existing ARF but width of coefficient become smaller. And the comparison of peak flow did not different what used by ARF and same time probability rainfall(A group). But non-same time probability rainfall is bigger 25% more than another(B group). Between A group and B group of the difference increased with the lapse of time.

  • 해안 항만구조물을 대표하는 혼성방파제의 설계에서 파랑하중에 의한 사석마운드 및 해저지반의 내부에서 과잉간극수압의 거동과 그에 따른 구조물의 파괴가 논의되어 왔고, 이를 수치시뮬레이션기법으로 규명하려는 시도가 있어왔다. 수치시뮬레이션에 관한 대부분의 연구에서는 선형 및 비선형의 해석법이 적용되었지만, LES 법에 의한 난류모델과 VOF 법에 의한 쇄파현상을 고려한 강비선형혼상류해석법이 적용된 사례는 거의 없었다. 본 연구의 선행 연구에서는 규칙파 작용하 혼성방파제-해저지반의 비선형상호작용해석에 혼상류해석법인 olaFlow 모델을 적용하였다. 본 연구도 동일한 해석법을 사용하여 불규칙파 작용하 혼성방파제-해저지반의 비선형상호작용해석을 수행하며, 이로부터 혼성방파제의 케이슨과 사석마운드 및 해저지반 근방에서 유의파고와 유의주기의 변화에 따른 수평파압, 과잉간극수압(시간변동 및 주파수스펙트럼), 평균유속, 평균와도 및 평균난류운동에너지 등을 검토하였다. 이로부터 케이슨 전면 사석마운드 수평부상에서는 최대무차원과잉간극수압, 평균난류운동에너지 및 평균와도가 동일하게 커지고, 또한 케이슨 전면의 정수면 근방에서는 항내측으로, 해저면 근방에서는 항외측으로 향하는 순환류가 형성되는 등의 중요한 결과를 알 수 있었다.

다공성세라믹버너의 화염안정화에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Flame Stability of Porous Ceramic Burner)

  • Typical boiler system consists of combustion chamber and heat exchanger in one housing, therefore the size of boiler system is large and the heat exchanging efficiency becomes low. At these boiler systems, because the combustible mixture fires as free flame in the combustion chamber, consequently the combusted hot gas heats the heat exchanger only as conductive and convective heat transfer. The present Porous Ceramic Burner concept is that combustion process is occurred at the gaps of the porous ceramic materials, and the heat exchanger is placed in the same porous materials. Therefore we can reduce the boiler size, and we can also use radiative heat transfer from ceramic material with conductive and convective heat transfer from combusted gas throwing the porous materials. The purpose of this study is to search the flame stability ranges at different fuel flow rate and excess air ratio burning in the $Al_2O_3$ ceramic balls. We found out the stable excess air ratio range on given combustion intensity. And we can get clean porous ceramic combustion results compared with free flame.

양친매성 2-butoxyethanol과 물 혼합계에서의 과잉 엔탈피 및 활동도 계수 (Excess Enthalpies and Activity Coefficients for the Binary Nonionic Amphiphile 2-Butoxyethanol/Water System)

  • Excess enthalpies ($H^{E}$) were measured by isothermal flow calorimetry for the nonionic amphiphile 2-butoxyethanol/water mixtures at 10 different temperatures (48.5 to $70^{\circ}C$) around and above the lower consolute solution temperature, $T_{lc}$. $H^{E}$ exhibits U-shape for the binary mixtures, and is large and negative which reflects substantial interaction between two chemical species. When the commonly used, semi-empirical Redlich-Kister (RK) polynomials were fitted to the measured $H^{E}$, plots of $H^{E}$ vs. weight fraction provided more accurate fitting with fewer parameters than conventionally drawn $H^{E}$ vs. mole fraction plots. This was due to the enhanced symmetry of $H^{E}$ vs. weight fraction plots. Using the fitted Redlich-Kister polynomials and the Gibbs-Helmholtz relation, temperature dependence of the activity coefficients were found and compared to the values determined from vapor-liquid equilibria. The activity coefficients were in the range of one to three, indicating that the binary system deviates from ideality but not substantially. They slightly depended on temperature and the temperature effect was equivalent to 10 % change in the activity coefficients.

  • Beacuse of the energy resources exhaustion, the aggravating environmental air pollution and the smoke phenomena etc., the importance of clean gas fuel compared with liquid fuel is highly considered in recent years. The combustion system which consists of porous media is actively studied as a new method for solving above problems. Therefore, excess enthalpy combustion using porous media was interested by many researchers and investigated through numerical and experimental analysis. In this study, the simplified combustor has the unique combustion characteristics of mixture gas preheated effect using radiative and convective heat energy by changing the flow passage of unburned gas with solenoid valves and has the intensive excess enthalpy phenomena As the result of according to reduce equivalence ratio, flame temperature was remarkably higher than adiabatic flame temperature. This show the ability of super-lean combustion.

MTS의 열분해를 이용한 $\beta$-SiC의 화학증착 및 Excess C 공급원의 영향 (Chemical Vapor Deposition of $\beta$-SiC by Pyrolysis of MTS and Effect of Excess C Sources)

  • $\beta$-SiC was chemically vapor deposited by pyrolysis of MTS+H2 gas mixture. The experiments were conducted in the temperature range of 1100~150$0^{\circ}C$ with a r.f. induction furnace under atmospheric pressure. The IR, XRD, EDS and AES analysis revealed that the free Si was always codeposited with SiC below 140$0^{\circ}C$, regardless of the total flow rate and MTS concentration, whereas $\beta$-SiC single phase was deposited at 150$0^{\circ}C$. C3H8 or CH2Cl2 as an excess C sources, was supplied with MTS in order to obtain stoichiometric SiC at low temperature. With the addition of C3H8 or CH2Cl2, the deposition rate was increased and $\beta$-SiC single phase could be deposited even at temperature as low as 110$0^{\circ}C$.   • 본 연구는 집중호우 시에 발생하는 맨홀뚜껑의 비산(飛散)현상의 원인을 수리모형과 수치모형(SWMM)을 사용하여 밝힌 연구이다. 대규모 간선에서 써차지 흐름의 급격한 수두상승 현상에 대해 수치모형과 수리모형 결과가 매우 잘 일치하였다. 맨홀 뚜껑이 비산 하는 현상의 원인은 펌프장의 게이트 조작이나 간선의 막힘 등으로 발생하는 써차지 흐름에 따른 압력전파에 의해 기인하는 맨홀 내 잔존 압축공기괴의 맨홀에서의 팽창 분출에 의한 것으로 나타났다.

  • Generalized hydrodynamic (GH) theory for multi-species gas and the computational models are developed for the numerical simulation of hypersonic rarefied gas flow on the basis of Eu's GH theory. The rotational non-equilibrium effect of diatomic molecules is taken into account by introducing excess normal stress associated with the bulk viscosity. The numerical model for the diatomic GH theory is developed and tested. Moreover, with the experience of developing the dia-tomic GH computational model, the GH theory is extended to a multi-species gas including 5 species; O$_2$, N$_2$, NO, O, N. The multi-species GH model includes diffusion relation due to the molecular collision and thermal phenomena. Two kinds of GH models are developed for an axisymmetric flow solver. By compar-ing the computed results of diatomic and multi-species GH theories with those of the Navier-Stokes equations and the DSMC results, the accuracy and physical consistency of the GH computational models are examined.

  • In this paper, numerical analysis of hydrogen recycle system has been conducted in order to enhance the efficiency of automotive fuel cell. Generally, the excess hydrogen is provided in the automotive fuel cell. Since the non-reaction hydrogen reduces automotive fuel cell efficiency, reuse of the non-reaction hydrogen can be helpful to improve the fuel cell performance. In case of PEM FC, the water vapor is provided to hydrogen from the cathode so that the mixture experiences phase change depending on the changes of pressure and temperature. The internal flow of the mixture in the hydrogen recirculation system of fuel cell was investigated for real flow conditions. The variation of performance, properties and mass fractions of mixture, hydrogen and water-vapor were investigated. This study was performed based on 80KW level automotive fuel cell's recycling system.
