In this paper, we propose a QoS-based handover management scheme in SDN. Even though there have been lots of recent services such as IoT, the conventional networks provide a monolitic handover method without considerations on flow-specific QoS features. For example, the conventional Internet provides a handover method which only considers IP continuity. On the other hand, 4G and 5G networks use a strict handover method for all kinds of flows with resource reservations. This means that it is difficult to guarantee the QoS requirements for the flow with a strict QoS requirement in Internet and the inefficient resource utilization can occur in the 4G and 5G because of the strict QoS-based handover management. The proposed scheme proposes the flow handover management scheme based on QoS requirements according to the SDN controller's management. From the network operators' perspective, the proposed scheme can provide the efficient resource utilization as well as QoS provisioning.
This paper considers logistics decision support system which deals with transportation mode selection considering transportation and carbon emission cost. Transportation and carbon emission costs vary with the choice of transportation modes and to become competitive companies need to find proper transportation modes for their logistics services. However, due to the restricted capacity of transportation modes, it is difficult to balance transportation and carbon emission costs when designing logistics network including transportation mode choice for each service. Therefore this paper aims to analyze the trade-off relationship between transportation and carbon emission cost in mode selection of intermodal transportation and to provide optimal green logistics strategy. In this paper, the logistics decision support system is designed based on mixed integer programming model. To understand the trade-off relationship of transportation and carbon emission cost, the system is tested with various scenarios including transportation of containers between Seoul and Busan. The analysis results show that, even though sea transportation combined with trucking is competitive in carbon emission per unit distance travelled, the total cost of carbon emission and transportation for the sea transportation may not have competitive advantage over other transportation modes including rail and truck transportation modes. The sea-based intermodal logistics service may induce detours which have negative impacts on the overall carbon emission. The proposed logistics decision support system is expected to play key role in green logistics and supply chain management.
OSGi technology has applied to Home Network, but now it is loaded into even heterogeneous devices in various domains. Therefore, it is necessary to cooperate with each other framework for offering effective services in distributed OSGi frameworks. However until now, OSGi specification doesn't provide any methodthat can share the services registered on remote OSGi frameworks. In order to solve this problem, there have been several researches that used existing distributed middleware technologies such as JXTA and Web Services. However these technologies have some weakness, that is, they consume lots of computing resources and need additional process to transform the services. A middleware called R-OSGi uses only OSGi technology for sharing remote OSGi services, but R-OSGi may have a communication bottleneck and SPOF (Single Point of Failure) problem, because it has a central service registry. In this paper we present RSP (Remote Service Provider), which is a P2P-based effective service sharing scheme on distributed OSGi framework. RSP doesn't need to install additional software nor have the additional transformation process of the service representation, because it uses only OSGi technology. In addition it doesn't have any bottleneck problem and improves scalability by providing the service discovery mechanism using P2P. RSP can also access remote services transparently and it can guarantee reliability by sending an immediate notice about changes of the remote services.

These days many companies are trying to reduce, recycle and reuse their wastes. Even though many wastes can be recycled, those are incinerated or landfilled. To solve these problems, there are many projects to make efforts to recycle wastes in especially the industrial complexes. But, due to the absence of information about waste recycling, recyclable wastes are still incinerated or landfilled. Based on these research background, this study aims to suggest the evaluation methodology of the $CO_2$ emissions and cost reduced by circulating the industrial waste to resource. We evaluated the environmental and economic effect between companies which emit the plastic waste and organic solvent waste and use them as raw-materials in the off-line recycling information exchange network. The environmental and economic aspects were analyzed comparing waste recycling with waste incineration. By recycling the plastic waste as raw-materials, $CO_2$ emission were reduced 1,070 ton in 2009 and 1,234 ton in 2010 and 657.4 million won in 2009 and 755.0 million won in 2010 were reduced. In recycling the organic solvent waste, 7.3 ton-$CO_2$ in 2010 and 5.6 ton-$CO_2$ in 2011 were reduced and 15.9 million won in 2010 and 12.2 million won in 2011 were reduced.

In Future, Chinese government will promote low carbon policies through the optimization of the logistics network to reduce energy waste, pursue the low carbon-reduction of logistics machinery and equipment, and develop an mode to appropriate demand for green low-carbon economic growth.

Background: It is well established that cross talk between natural killer (NK) cells and myeloid dendritic cells (DC) leads to NK cell activation and DC maturation. In the present study, we investigated whether type 1-polarized DC (DC1) matured in the presence of IFN-${\gamma}$ and type 2-polarized DC (DC2) matured in the presence of PGE2 can differentially activate NK cells. Methods: In order to generate DC, plastic adherent monocytes were cultured in RPMI 1640 containing GM-CSF and IL-4. At day 6, maturation was induced by culturing the cells for 2 days with cytokines or PGE2 in the presence or absence of LPS. Each population of DC was cocultured with NK cells for 24 h. The antigen expression on DC was analyzed by flow cytometry and cytokine production in culture supernatant was measured by ELISA or a bioassay for TNF-${\alpha}$ determination. NK cell-mediated lysis was determined using a standard 4h chromium release assay. Results: DC2, unlike DC1, had weak, if any, ability to induce NK cell activation as measured by IFN-${\gamma}$ production and cytolytic activity. DC2 were weakly stimulated by activated NK cells compared to DC1. In addition, IFN-${\gamma}$-primed mature DC appeared to be most resistant to active NK cell-mediated lysis even at a high NK cell/DC ratio. On the other hand, PGE2-primed DC were less resistant to feedback regulation by NK cells than IFN-${\gamma}$-primed mature DC. Finally, we showed that the differential effect of two types of DC population on NK cell activity is not due to differences in their ability to form conjugates with NK cells. Conclusion: These results suggest that different combinations of inflammatory mediators differentially affect the effector function of DC and, as a result, the function of NK cells, eventually leading to distinct levels of activation in adaptive immunity.
Such factors as the increase of population and me development of information technology were raised the needs of citizens in Korea. To meet these needs for the better services, Korean government has built up the computer networks that connect forty-two administrative operations of the central government since 1984. Through the computerization of administrative services, Korean government has been pursuing the balanced development among the regions in the country. To this end, regional informationization has been implemented since the mid 1980s. Specifically, rural villages has become information network villages (invils) by adopting computers and networks. Consequently, three hundred thirty-seven invils were implemented in the country. By selecting forty-six invils in Kyeongbuk province in Korea, this research was intended to find efficient and effective ways of operating invils. To find the problems and opportunities of the invils, the researcher has visited each of the forty-six invils between January 12th. and February 12th. in 2009. Two-round surveys were distributed to the managers of these forty-six invils. This research identified ten problems as below. a. Problems after the implementation of invils b. Problems occurred at the same rime as the operation of invils c. Problems with regard to the invil managers d. Problems with regard to the criteria of success or failure e. It is very important to establish a pairwise key securely in wireless sensor networks. Because sensor networks consist of devices with weak physical security, they are likely to be compromised by an attacker. However, some approaches using key pre-distribution and other approaches using one hop local keys are known to be very vulnerable to threats caused by compromised nodes, even a small number. This paper proposes a scheme where each node establishes three hop local keys and employs them for a later pairwise key establishment. When any two nodes agree a pairwise key, all nodes on the route between two nodes contribute to the agreement of the pairwise key. Here, the initial three hop local keys are employed for encrypting a secret key delivered from a node to other nodes. Therefore, the proposed scheme bothers attackers to compromise much more nodes than the scheme using one hop local keys only. The simulation results have proven that the proposed scheme provides better performance and higher security than the scheme using one hop local keys in terms of message exchange, the number of encryption and decryption, and pairwise key exposure rate.
For bone regeneration from KUSA-A1 oesteoblast cells (KUSA), chitosan (CS) scaffolds possessing different surface properties, sponge-type (CSS) and nonwoven-type (CSNW), were manufactured. Surface area and pore size of CSNW were larger than those of CSS. On the other hand, the pore volume of CSNW was smaller than that of CSS. Cell attachment evaluation showed CSNW was more adequate then CSS, and this was attributed to the large surface area. For in vivo investigation, KUSA were seeded into CS scaffolds in wells followed by a week of cell culture. Obtained CS scaffolds with KUSA were implanted on the subcutaneous tissue of BALB/C nude mice. After surgery, implanted scaffolds were harvested and assayed by immunological staining. Network stability of CSS was better than that of CSNW, even if CSS scaffolds were destroyed between 4 and 6 weeks. Calcification was observed after 4 and 8 weeks for CSNW and CSS, respectively.
When the natural villages in Jeju province are incorporated into the district of city planning, they are considered to be a small-scale residential districts. Therefore, a garden city should be planned that considers the characteristics of the villages to implement an appropriate street system, to use the area effectively, and to harmonize the villages with the surrounding communities. There have been an especially large number of problems with the street system in the city of Seogwipo, which was notified as the area of natural settlement. This study analyzes the problems inherent in street planning and the present condition of roads whose construction has been postponed for a long time due to several problems including an inappropriately planned street system. Based on the research of various documents, a practical street system has been investigated. Most of the residents in natural settlement units demand use of the continued the existing roads as well as the implementation of an effective street system. They ask for street planning under which the involved construction would take only a short period of time and would result in only minimal damage to their existing properties. Therefore, the street system should be planned so as to preserve the nature-friendly features of natural settlements, their surroundings and tourism resources. Even after streets hwve been planned and their completion you has been established, the plan should be continuously evaluated, analyzed and compared with other alternatives. The street plan should continuously incorporate improvement measures which would satisfy various aspects of the street system including land use, traffic demand, and future population demands. Both the amount of money to be invested and economical efficiency should be considered for street planning since the street system has a great impact on many industries. Unnecessary costs related to excessive road construction should be avoided. The street network plan should also include the complete evaluation of the natural topography as well as the surrounding. Considering these views, the data concerning the current condition of the city and the related investigation play an important role in establishing a street plan. However, the investigation of future construction plans by the city is as of yet at a very early stage. Therefore, there is an urgent need for the investigational study of the current city development plans. The street system for the natural settlement area should be established only after the thorough investigation of all aspects of street planning. In addition, the plan should be flexible enough to consider the characteristics of Jeju.
