Computer Aided Diagnosis System based on Performance Evaluation Agent Model

  • In this paper, we present a performance evaluation agent based on fuzzy cluster analysis and validity measures. The proposed agent is consists of three modules, fuzzy cluster analyzer, performance evaluation measures, and feature ranking algorithm for feature selection step in CAD system. Feature selection is an important step commonly used to create more accurate system to help human experts. Through this agent, we get the feature ranking on the dataset of mass and calcification lesions extracted from the public real world mammogram database DDSM. Also we design a CAD system incorporating the agent and apply five different feature combinations to the system. Experimental results proposed approach has higher classification accuracy and shows the feasibility as a diagnosis supporting tool.

  • Phayathonzu temple in Myanmar was made of masonry bricks, and so it was vulnerable to lateral load such as earthquake. Especially, it has many difficulties in structural modeling and dynamic analysis because the discontinuous characteristics of masonry structure should be considered. So, it is necessary to provide the seismic performance evaluation technology through the inelastic dynamic modeling and analysis under earthquake loads for the safety security of masonry brick temple. Therefore, this study analyzes the seismic behavior characteristics and evaluates the seismic performance for the 479 structure with many cracks and deformations. Through the evaluation results, we found out the structural weak parts on earthquake loads.

  • Performance-based design concept is needed to evaluate the seismic capacity of building. In this study, the method estimating the performance point of the spatial structures based on capacity spectrum method (CSM) is proposed. And for efficient evaluation for the performance point of the spatial structures, the algorithm to convert spatial structural system to ESDOF system is simulated Its efficiency is confirmed by comparing with time history analysis of full model. And dynamic behaviors of spatial structures are examined by using this method. At last, evaluation of structural performance according to variation of stiffness after plastic deformation on the substructures is carried out.

  • This paper deals with a performance evaluation model of transporters in refrigerate warehouse. This study focussed on determining refrigerate warehouse design to minimize the expected travel time to improve the transporter performance and to minimize the operating costs. This study proposes the important detail aspects of refrigerate warehouse design, operational parameters and congestions. For solving this problem, we have shown a mathematical model to compute the initial value of the system performance and also a simulation model using AutoMod. A systematic approach proposed in this study for an optimal planning of order-picking warehouse is known as an effective method for the planning of order-picking warehouse and a performance evaluation problem of refrigerate warehouse operation.

성과요인과 개인성과 평가결과의 관계에 대한 연구 (A study on the relationship between performance factors and individual performance evaluation results)

  • 본 연구는 기업의 종업원의 성과요인을 개인적, 조직적, 제도적 요인으로 나누고 이에 따른 성과평가결과와의 관계를 실증적으로 분석하였다. 최종 417개의 표본을 바탕으로 SPSS와 AMOS를 이용한 결과를 요약하면, 다음과 같다. 성과 요인 중 직무 만족과 공정한 성과제도는 개인성과 평가결과에 유의미한 양(+)의 관계를 보였고, 안정적 대인관계는 뚜렷한 상관관계를 찾아보기 어려웠다. 직무 만족(β= 0.432, t= 7.375***)의 영향력이 가장 컸으며, 공정한 성과제도(β= 0.127, t= 2.406*)가 그 다음이었다. 이는 성과 원인이 직무에 만족 한 경우와 조직의 성과제도가 공정하다고 인식하는 것이라 할 수 있겠다. 그러나 안정적 대인관계 즉, 다른 사람들로부터 원만한 관계를 하고 심리적 안정이 동반되는 대인관계는 성과요인이 아님이 밝혀졌다. 이러한 실증분석 결과를 바탕으로 성과요인에 대한 논의, 그리고 시사점과 향후 연구방향에 대해 제시하였다.

  • In this study, evaluation system of impact resistance performance is proposed. Compressive strength of concrete is 40, 60 and 80MPa. It evaluate impact resistance performance to use projectile 6, 7 and 8mm size. As a result, safety performance is more higher when the compressive strength is increased in. Compared with Hughes's formula, evaluation system of impact resistance performance is appropriated.

  • It is required that an evaluation method that can present the performance after remodeling to residents objectively as the increase in demand for remodeling. New construction is able to evaluate through housing performance grading indication system. However, there are some parts that are difficult to apply as assessment criteria of new construction in remodeling. The purpose of this study is to establish the assessment criteria direction for each item in remodeling performance evaluation. In conclusion, we set up institutionalized items for remodeling performance evaluation, and propose to assessment criteria direction based on the characteristics of remodeling on extracted items.

Application of High Performance Coatings for Service Life Extension of Steel Bridge Coatings

  • In this study, performance tests, a field evaluation, and a life cycle cost (LCC) analysis for high performance coating systems were conducted to prepare a plan to reduce the cost of maintenance coating and contribute to the service life extension of steel bridges by applying high performance coatings to steel bridges that will be constructed in the future. From the deterioration models based on the field evaluation for chlorinated rubber and urethane topcoat systems, which have been applied often, the mean service lives were derived as 20.8 and 26.6 years, respectively. For the other coating systems that have not been applied in practice, the coordination factors were differentially applied with evaluation items. The most durable coating system was predicted to be thermal spray coating (TSC) primer/epoxy intermediate coat/fluoride resin topcoat, with a predicted value as long as 42.2 years. The LCC analysis indicates that partial application of high performance coating, such as TSC and fluoride resin, to specific parts vulnerable to corrosion and ultraviolet ray (UV) is more advantageous than the use of general coating systems.

  • New buildings have been designed using different seismic design standards that have been revised. However, the seismic performance of existing buildings is evaluated through the same performance evaluation guidelines. Existing buildings may not satisfy the performance targets suggested in the current guidelines, but there are practical limitations to discriminating the existing buildings with poor seismic performance through a full investigation. In this regard, to classify buildings with poor seismic performance according to the applied standard, this study aimed to evaluate performance-based investigation of the seismic design proposals of buildings with different design standards. The target buildings were set as RC ordinary moment frames for office occupancy. Changes in seismic design criteria by period were analyzed, and the design spectrum changes of reinforced concrete ordinary moment resisting frames were compared to analyze the seismic load acting on the building during design. The seismic design plan was derived through structural analysis of the target model, compared the member force and cross-sectional performance, and a preliminary evaluation of the seismic performance was performed to analyze the performance level through DCR. As a result of the seismic performance analysis through the derived design, the reinforced concrete ordinary moment frame design based on AIK 2000 has an insufficient seismic performance level, so buildings built before 2005 are likely to need seismic reinforcement.
