Objectives: The purpose of this research is to investigate recent clinical studies of Intestinal Metaplasia (IM) based on a search of the China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI). Methods: We investigated recent clinical studies of Oriental medicine therapies in traditional Chinese medical journals for IM through a CNKI search. 20 clinical articles published from 2010 to 2016 were analyzed. This study examined the authors, publication years, types of studies, criteria for diagnosis and evaluation, periods, purposes of study and articles classified by methods of treatment. Results: Most of articles were classified as randomized controlled trial. IM was diagnosed using gastroscopy, pathological examination and clinical symptoms in a high proportion of articles. The criteria for evaluation most frequently used were the effective ratios of clinical symptoms, gastroscopy and pathological tests. The methods of treatment in all studies were Chinese herb medicine. Acupuncture, acupoint injection therapy, and embedding therapy were also used in several studies. Conclusion: In this study, the Chinese treatment for IM was markedly effective. To improve the treatment of IM in Korea, many clinical studies and case reports are required, based on Chinese medicine.

Currently, obtaining information about the housing studies through the internet web sites is one of the outstanding mediums. Those are of the housings, architecture, interior design, furniture products, hotels and its journals, etc., and out of all those informations are the highly expected value of use. But. it may causes the public users to experience a negative effect, because many of those informations provided on the internet web sites related to the housing studies/informations are not providing an equal quality of information. And measuring the quality is also not easy. This study focuses on the establishment of evaluation criterion for the housing information-related internet web sites. In such a vein, it proposes a clear model to evaluate the information qualities with the 43 questionnaires / examining items. To test the questionnaires/rating items, the analysis has been implemented which has shown the reciprocal effect between the 2 major factors. One major factor with 4 variables on the information searches are (1) the accuracy/reliability of contents and techniques, (2) the design of a picture and communication, (3) the readability and security, and (4) the security of private information, and the other factor with 3variables on the additional services are (1) the diversities of contents and ease of orderings, (2) the abilities of search and e-mail, and (3) the events and after services. This study/rating model will provide the users with a fundamental material in evaluating the quality of housing information on the internet web sites.

The purpose of this study is to suggest the schemes to enhance information service functions by the utilization of CD-ROM in medical school libraries. The results of the study are summarized as follows : 1. The selection and evaluation of CD-ROM database are necessary steps in the planning of a CD-ROM. Before the CD-ROM is selected, therefore, medical libraries must make a practical evaluation criteria in important order of information services environment, characteristics of hardware/software, service requirements, price and cost, etc. 2. If possible, CD-ROM MEDLINE must be suited for the information services environment. 3. In case of the popular core journals, full-text CD-ROM should be gradually purchased. 4. In order to reduce the time required from search of bibliographic informations to receipt of original articles, CD-NET system and library holding administration program must be built up and developed. And channel of information search and order/receipt of original article should be varied. 5. Search education program for medical librarians and users should be enforced, and librarians must play an important role in CD-ROM retrieval consultant and intermediator.

Objectives The aim of this review is to analyze the study tendency in papers related with ankle sprain which are published in Korea. Methods I searched the OASIS and checked relevant Korean journals. I classified the papers by field of study, publish date, main treatment, evaluation methods and analysed the study tendency. Results 1. There are 9 case studies, 4 comparative effectiveness studies, 11 controlled studies. 2. The paper was published almost every year for more than one. 3. Treatment tool such as acupuncture, pharmacopuncture, acupotomy, heating-conduction acupuncture, etc. was used. 4. The most commonly used evaluation method is VAS (Visual Analog Scale) and AHS (Ankle-Hindfoot scale). Conclusions These results suggest that Korean medical treatment on the ankle sprain can be useful as cure medicine, but there are not sufficient evidence based papers, so there should be further studies.

Korean academic societies in science and technology are trying to improve the prestige and quality of their journals by enlisting them in international citation databases. In order to be enlisted in international citation databases, a journal should be managed and maintained according to the policies of organizations operating citation databases. In particular, a journal should have an effective on-line publishing process including fair and transparent peer-review. KISTI studied the systematical necessary element so that the domestic journal could receive the evaluation for the international index DB record. Based on this, KISTI designed the Article Contribution Management System(ACOMS) Ver. 4.0 including the academic journal homepage and completed the english ACOMS development in 2010. Presently the english ACOMS promotes the continued facility improvement in 2012 in order to be reborn as the international journal manuscript submission/review and electronic publishing system. And it is managed about the academic journal of 49 kinds including JICCE academic journal. Therefore, this paper suggests utilizing english ACOMS as a way for JICCE journal to enlist their journals in international citation database.

The aim of this review is to investigate studies of Korean medical treatment of carpal tunnel syndrome published in Korea and the evidence of it's effects in order to suggest a better research method in the future. Four Korean web databases were searched by using key words such as 'carpal', and checked relevant Korean journals. The papers were classified into the field of study, publish date, diagnostic methods, evaluation methods and analysed the study tendency. There are 9 case studies, 4 controlled studies. The paper was published almost every year more than once. Acupucture, pharmacopuncture, acupotomy, warm needle acupuncture, taping, etc. were used as treatment tools. The two most commonly used diagnostic method for carpal tunnel syndrome are Phalen's test and Tinel's sign. The two most commonly used evaluation method are VAS(Visual Analog Scale) and subjective symptoms. Korean medical treatment of carpal tunnel syndrome was effective in all studies. Korean medical treatment of carpal tunnel syndrome was effective in all studies. So it is possible that Korean medical treatment of carpal tunnel syndrome is useful as therapeutic medicine, but there are not sufficient evidence based papers, so there should be further studies.

The study proposed an electronic journal retrieval model to be used to improve the retrieval efficiency of e-journals. To do this, firstly, we reviewed the literature on users' information behavior and on ERM (Electronic Resource Management) systems. Secondly, we conducted an e-mail survey of 96 participants (professors and graduate students) to find out about their information behavior on how to access, use and evaluate electronic resources as well as scientific information. Thirdly, we administered case studies on two ERMSs, Ex Libris' Verde and Innovative's Millennium. The proposed model will be operated within ERM systems and it enables to the supply of both system- and user-based services by combining taxonomy-based ERM systems with tag folksonomy. The model is unique in that it includes not only the automatic tagging functions that can be performed using log files but also the tag management functions including grouping similar or related tags.

The purpose of this study was to provide suggestions for the effective management of e-journals in academic libraries. Existing literatures were reviewed, web sites were examined, and informal interviews with librarians were conducted. This study comprehensively discussed various aspects of e-journal management, including 1) user behavior, 2) selection, acquisition, and evaluation, 3) access and search, 4) user education and its promotion, 5) archiving, 6) open access, 7) collection development policy.

This study is purposed for examine the trends and social contributions in the field of consumer studies during the 1980's and 1990's All the 420 articles on the consumer studies published in the Journal of Korean Home Management Association the Journal of Korean Home Economics Association the Journal of Family Resource Management Association and the Journal of Consumer Studies are analysed by the themes the published journals and published years. The consumer areas are divided into two major sub areas. They are family economics(which is including consumption theory and pattern and family financial management ) and consumer affairs (which includes consumer behavior consumer policy and consumer education) The proportion of publishing is about 40% in former area and about 60% in latter area. And the evaluation of the social contributions of consumer studies and the strategies to enhance are also discussed.
