SrGa$_2$S$_4$ : Eu is a green emitting phosphor which is applied for field emission display, and cathodoluminescence. Conventionally, SrGa$_2$S$_4$ : Eu is synthesized by solid state reaction, in which a mixture of SrCO$_3$, Ga$_2$O$_3$, and Eu$_2$O$_3$ is fired at high temperatures under flowing H$_2$S and Ar gases. In this study,SrGa$_2$S$_4$ : Eu phosphor is synthesized by using a decomposition method, where SrS, Eu complex, and Ga com-plex are used. The advantage of this method is that toxic H$_2$S gas and Ar gas are not used. The synthetic con-ditions and luminescent properties of SrGa$_2$S$_4$ : Eu phosphor are also investigated.

A phosphor for Plasma Display Panel, BaMgAl$_{10}$ O$_{17}$ :Eu$^{2+}$, showing a blue emission band at about 450nm was prepared by a solid-state reaction using BaCO$_3$, $Al_2$O$_3$, MgO, Eu$_2$O$_3$ as starting materials wish flux AlF$_3$. The study of the behaviour of Eu in BAM phosphor was carried out by the photoluminescence spectra and the Rietveld method with X-ray and neutron powder diffraction data to refine the structural parameters such as lattice constants, the valence state of Eu, the preferential site of Mg atom and the site fraction of each atom. The phenomenon of the concentration quenching was abound 2.25~2.3wt% of Eu due to a decrease in the critical distance for energy transfer of inter-atomic Eu. Through the combined Rietveld refinement, R-factor, R$_{wp}$, was 8.11%, and the occupancy of Eu and Mg was 0.0882 and 0.526 at critical concentration. The critical distance of Eu$^{2+}$ in BAM was 18.8$\AA$ at 2.25% Eu of the concentration quenching. Furthermore, c/a ratio was decreased to 3.0wt% and no more change was observed over that concentration. The maximum entropy electron density was found that the modeling of $\beta$-alumina structure in BaMgAl$_{10}$ O$_{17}$ :Eu$^{2+}$correct coincided showing Ba, Eu, O atoms of z= 1/4 mirror plane.e.ane.e.
The purposes of this study are as follows: First, this study reviews the Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) regulations of the EU to resolve disputes which can arise in international e-commerce in the future. Second, this study tries to seek out alternative solutions to dispute resolutions based on these regulations. Third, this study increases the efficiency of the transactions by proposing effective and satisfactory dispute resolution methods for international e-commerce. First, this study reviews the concept of cross-border e-commerce, generally explores ODR, and creates comparisons with Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR). Subsequently, this study looks into domestic ODR system and analyzes the regulations of EU ODR. This study suggests the implications of the European ODR regulations in the conclusion. The EU ODR platform is considered greatly significant in that it has increased the possibility of settlements in small disputes by enhancing consumers' accessibility to ADR procedures. Therefore, this thesis proposes a method for Korean companies to resolve disputes that may arise in e-commerce with EU by using the ODR platform. As a result, it is expected to increase the competitiveness of Korean companies in the EU market. Both legislative trends related to the ODR of the EU and establishment of the EU ODR platform have significant implications for Korean businesses in Europe. This study is expected to be useful for our businesses in the EU in reviewing the applicability of the EU ODR regulations and the dispute settlement procedures through the EU ODR platform. In addition, this study is expected to prove useful in relation to consumer protection by enhancing consumers' accessibility to dispute settlement institutions in domestic electronic commerce.
EU and NAFTA which are huge regional economic blocs came out the world economy at the end of the twentieth century. It is the first that Europe has been trying to establish regional economic integration which is a revolutionary change to world economy. So that regional economic integration of Europe(European Union) has been improving to make a complete economic political integration. This paper analyzes trade creation effect for joining European Union(EU) of Central Eastern European countries with random effect estimation and fixed effect estimation. 12 Central Eastern European countries have become membership states of EU since 2004 is able to get 27.4% of trade increase effect on average between old and new membership countries one another as well as between new membership countries one another respectively. It is very important for some countries have a plan to affiliate to EU in the future to realize such a big effect if they are in.

Eu3+-doped BaZrO3 (BaZrO3:Eu3+) phosphor powders were prepared using a solid-state reaction by changing the molar concentration of Eu3+ within the range of 0.5 to 30 mol%. Irrespective of the molar concentration of Eu3+ ions, the crystal structures of all the phosphors were cubic. The excitation spectra of BaZrO3:Eu3+ phosphors consisted of an intense broad band centered at 277 nm in the range of 230~320 nm. The emission spectra were composed of a dominant orange band at 595 nm arising from the 5D0→7F1 magnetic dipole transition of Eu3+ and two weak emission bands centered at 574 and 615 nm, respectively. As the concentration of Eu3+ increased from 0.5 to 10 mol%, the intensities of all the emission bands gradually increased, approached maxima at 10 mol% of Eu3+ ions, and then showed a decreasing tendency with further increase in the Eu3+ ions due to the concentration quenching. The critical distance between neighboring Eu3+ ions for concentration quenching was calculated to be 11.21 Å, indicating that dipole-dipole interaction was the main mechanism of concentration quenching of BaZrO3:Eu3+ phosphors. The results suggest that the orange emission intensity can be modulated by doping the appropriate concentration of Eu3+ ions.
The two waves of EU enlargement in 2004 and 2007, have been milestones of European integration. While research has been conducted into the impact of these events on both the European and the global economies,1 there have been few attempts to assess the effects of EU enlargement and the introduction of the euro on countries such as Russia, which neighbour the EU but currently have no perspective of accession. This paper aims to provide an assessment of the effects that EU enlargement and the introduction of the euro have had on Russia, the largest country neighbouring the EU. In particular, it focuses on trade and investment links between the EU and Russia, as well as the use of the energy by Russian residents and authorities. Economic links between Russia and the EU are found to have strengthened considerably in the areas of trade, investment and other financial flows in recent years. Strong growth, particularly in Russia, as well as the high price of oil and gas, Russia's major export items, has facilitated this expansion of trade and finance. Moreover, available data do not suggest that EU enlargement has had a negative impact on Russia in terms of trade or investment diversion. Thus, the strategic partnership between Russia and the EU has been increasingly underpinned by an expansion of cross-border economic activities. Thus, the paper contributes to two broad strands of literature on this subject, namely the impact of regional trade and economic arrangements on non-member countries and the international role of currencies.
The compounds, CaAl$_2$(BO$_3$)$_2$O, SrAl$_2$(BO$_3$)$_2$O and BaAl$_2$(BO$_3$)$_2$O, are good host lattices for highly efficient $Eu^{2+}$ luminescence. The europium emission peaks at 450 nm in $Eu^{2+}$:CaAl$_2$(B0$_3$)$_2$O, 411 nm in $Eu^{2+}$: SrAl$_2$(BO$_3$)$_2$O and 375 nm in $Eu^{2+}$: BaAl$_2$(BO$_3$)$_2$O. The $Eu^{2+}$: CaAl$_2$(BO$_3$)$_2$O Phosphor shows a high output and should be a good maintenance in VUV Xe lamps. It is ideally suited for use in PDP phosphors. The $Eu^{2+}$ ion is interesting because the Stokes shift emission is a strong host dependent. The difference in the Stokes shift is oneimportant factor leadingto a difference in wavelength. If the 5d level of $Eu^{2+}$ ion is lower in energy, according to a decrease in the doping lattice size, then the emission wavelength will be longer and the Stokes shift will be smaller. Therefore, a knowledge of the relationship between the crystal lattice size and the Stokes shift. (orthe energy of the 5d level),is essential for beingable to predict $Eu^{2+}$ emission properties.
To develop the highly sensitive TLD radiation sensors, $BaSO_{4}$ : Eu-PTFE TLDs are fabricated by polymerizing the PTFE(polytetrafluoroethylene) with $BaSO_{4}$ : Eu TL phosphors. The $BaSO_{4}$ : Eu TL phosphors having the highest sensitivity of $X/{\gamma}$-rays are obtained by sintering at $1000^{\circ}C$ in $N_{2}$ atmosphere a mixture of $BaSO_{4}$ powder with 1mol% Eu($Eu_{2}O_{3}$), 6mol% $NH_{4}Cl$ and 5mol% $(NH_{4})_{2}SO_{4}$ which were co-precipitated in dilute sulfuric acid and then dried. The activation energy, frequency factor and kinetic order of $BaSO_{4}$ : Eu TL phosphor are 1.17eV, $3.6{\times}10^{11}/sec$ and 1.25, respectively. And the spectral peak of $BaSO_{4}$ : Eu is about 425nm. The optimum TL Phosphor content and thickness of the $BaSO_{4}$ : Eu-PTFE TLD are 40wt% and $105.7mg/cm^{2}$. The optimum polymerization temperature and time for fabrication of $BaSO_{4}$ : Eu-PTFE TLDs are $380^{\circ}C$ and 2 hours in air, respectively. The linear dose range to ${\gamma}$ rays is 0.01-20Gy and fading rate is about 10%/60hours.
Ba2-xSrxSiO4:Eu2+ phosphor particles with the high photoluminescence (PL) intensity under long wavelength ultraviolet (UV) were prepared by spray pyrolysis. The photoluminescence, morphological and crystalline characteristics of $Ba_{2-x.}Sr_{x.}SiO_4:Eu^{2+}$ phosphor particles prepared by spray pyrolysis were investigated. $Ba_{2-x.}Sr_{x.}SiO_4:Eu^{2+}$ phosphor particles prepared by spray pyrolysis had various colors from bluish green to yellow by changing the ratio of barium and strontium of the host material. In case of x=0, the main emission peak of $Ba_2SiO_4:Eu^{2+}$ phosphor was 500 nm. In case of x=2, the main emission peak of $Sr_2SiO_4:Eu^{2+}$ phosphor was 554nm. $Ba_{2-x.}Sr_{x.}SiO_4:Eu^{2+}$ phosphor particles obtained by spray pyrolysis had spherical shape and hollow structure. On the other hand, the post-treated $Ba_{2-x.}Sr_{x.}SiO_4:Eu^{2+}$ phosphor particles had large size and irregular shape. The $Ba_{1.488}Sr_{0.5}SiO_4:Eu_{0.012}{^{2+}}$ phosphor particles had the maximum PL intensity after post-treatment at temperature of $1300^{\circ}C$ for 3h under reduction atmosphere.
