The paper investigates the antecedents of Organic Food (OF) produce in Vietnam and the intentions and behavior of OF purchasers. A theoretical framework is developed and evaluated by simulation of the structural model. Data was collected from a convenient sample of 222 consumers from Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam. The selection included 159 (72%) women, who were identified as being the primary buyers of organic food for their family (73%). Findings suggest food hygiene issues and conscientious self-identity as the much beneficial determinants of organic production perceptions. Because of the results in this report, the consideration for food security has gained little research consideration throughout the field of organic produce. Food safety concerns are also related to academics exploring consumer confidence as they might be regarded as one of their aspects in selecting standard, natural or health food products. Findings suggest food security as one of the essential determinants of motivation, while health awareness purports to become the least significant motivation, contrary to observations from certain previous studies. However, it is observed that moral personality-identity influences both perceptions and willingness to buy organic food, stressing that the association of participants with ethical concerns influences their perceptions and eventual choices of consumption.

십대를 탈정치화된 문화소비자로 우려하거나 의식화된 정치 행위자로 찬미하는 기존의 거친 이분법에 문제제기하며, 이 연구는 십대 소녀.소년들의 정치 참여의 문화적 의미를 2008년 촛불광장을 중심으로 탐구한다. 말걸기와 듣기를 통한 성찰적 방법론으로서 심층인터뷰를 실시하여, 십대가 일상적으로 겪은 고통과 불안의 감정이 자아의 윤리로 성장하는 과정, 개인적인 가치와 신념이 또래집단 내에서 소통적 관계로 확장되고 집합화되는 방식, 그리고 세대/젠더적 감수성이 운동 세력 내부에서 차이들의 정치로 다층화되고 활성화되는 역동을 읽어내었다. 주변화된 타자로서 십대가 윤리적.소통적.정치적 주체로 ‘되어가는’ 과정으로 촛불운동을 이해함으로써, 촛불광장을 단지 일시적인 이벤트로 단편화하는 대신, 새로운 정치세대의 성장이라는 역사적 과정으로 맥락화할 것을 제안한다.

초등학교에서 환경교육은 여러 교과에서 이루어지고 있다. 각 교과의 환경수업은 그 교과의 특성 및 교과와 관련된 환경교육의 내용을 반영하여 구성된다. 도덕과의 환경수업에도 환경교육과 관련된 내용 및 도덕과의 특성이 반영된다. 초등학교 도덕과 교육과정에서 환경교육과 직접적으로 관련된 지도요소는 '생명의 소중함'과 '올바른 자연관과 환경 보호'이다. 도덕과는 이 지도요소를 통해 동식물의 생명을 소중히 여겨야 하는 이유와 자연과의 관계에 대한 도덕적 인식을 중심으로 접근한다. 초등 도덕과의 환경교육은 사실적 이해를 중심으로 하는 교과와는 달리 규범적 접근을 중심으로 한다는 측면에서 차별된다. 도덕과의 정체성을 반영하면서 규범적 내용에 접근하기 위해서는 생명과 자연에 대한 윤리적 탐구를 중심으로 수업이 전개되어야 한다. 특히 도덕과 환경수업은 동물 생명의 도덕적 지위, 식물 생명의 도덕적 지위, 전체 자연계의 도덕적 지위에 대한 윤리적 탐구라는 논리적 순서로 형식적 응집성이 구성될 수 있다. 이를 위해서는 개체주의적인 윤리적 확대주의에 근거한 동물 생명의 도덕적 지위의 해명, 개체주의적 탈인간중심 윤리에 근거한 식물 생명의 도덕적 지위의 해명, 전체주의적 탈인간중심 윤리에 근거한 전체 자연의 도덕적 지위의 해명을 근거로 수업을 구성할 수 있다. 이를 반영한 구체적인 수업 안은 '사람과 동물의 공통점 찾기', '공통점을 대하는 모습', '공통점을 대하는 모습이 다른 이유 생각하기', '식물이 죽으면 사라지는 것', '비생명체의 가치 이해하기'로 전개된다. 물론 이러한 수업의 예시는 비판적으로 재구성될 수 있다. 하지만 초등 도덕과의 정체성이 반영된 환경수업을 위해서는 윤리적 탐구를 통한 환경 의식을 함양이라는 목적은 유지되어야 한다.

This study was aimed at developing and providing textbook writers with information and materials required to introduce forest education ideas and paradigm into primary, middle, and high school students, responding to establishment of the new national curriculum. Research methods included interview with school teachers, literature review on forest education and policy, analysis of writings and drawings of elementary school students. As a primary result, the study produced a framework that can be applied to analyze and understand how people think of and put a value on forest, consisting of 1) Resource-Economic Perspective, 2) Environmental-Ecological Perspective, 3) Cultural-Educational Perspective, and 4) Existential-Ethical Perspective. To test its validity, the developed framework was applied to the processes of reorganizing and interpreting the outcomes of teacher interview and writings and drawings of elementary school students. The results of applications showed that current school education mostly focused on ecological-environmental (about 50%) and cultural-educational (about 30%) perspectives on forest. To improve the quality of current forest education in schools, five main directions including integration, balance, interrelatedness, identity, and systematic approaches were suggested.

This paper deals with figurative meanings of Haewon-sangsaeng. It is an investigation which is both semantic and diachronic. In the first part, important implications of sangsaeng (or xiangsheng in Chinese) in the context of correlative cosmology are extensively explored. Among others, saeng (in Chinese sheng) as a powerful metaphor and its related Chinese compounds are broadly discussed. In the second part, the evolution of ideas of yuan (or won in Korean) in Chinese history is explicated. Above all, in the traditional Chinese cultural milieu, wrongful treatments which make victims feel themselves aggrieved are socio-politically orientated. The Scripture on Great Peace (Taiping Jing) is used as reference point to elucidate the essential points of yuan and its knots. However, the advent of Buddhism in East Asia adds a new dimension to the understanding of yuan (won). Accumulated yuan as karmic bond thus gives a new identity of yuan as predetermined animosity. Widely recognized idioms like "adverse relatives and karmic debtors" and indigenous Chinese Buddhist rituals like Repentance Ritual of the Emperor Liang bear witness to this transformation of the meaning of yuan in East Asia. The fruitful yet correlated meanings of yuan also make the endeavor of untying yuan deeply significant and important to human society. Haewon-sangsaeng, as a religio-ethical ideal, brings out an amicable and harmonious relationship among myriad beings in the cosmos.

대중영상매체인 애니메이션은 계층, 나이, 국가를 초월한 범세계적 수요에 기반하며 그 사회문화적 영향력은 갈수록 확대되고 있다. 하지만, 현대 대중문화에 있어서 애니메이션의 부정적 영향이 증가하고 있으며, 이에 따라, '윤리성의 회복' 이라는 성찰적 관점에서 애니메이션의 역할에 대한 교육적 차원의 토의가 필요한 시점이라 사료된다. 이에, New York Times등 많은 언론으로부터 성공적인 교육 모델로 주목받고 있는 몰몬교 학교인 BYU(Brigham Young University)의 건전한 윤리적 가치관을 담고 있는 학생 애니메이션 작품에 대해 살펴보고자 한다. 이를 위해, 첫째, 애니메이션의 부정적인 영향에 대해 1)폭력성, 2)과다한 선정성, 3)문화간 정체감의 혼란, 4)성차별, 5)왜곡된 역사관을 기준으로 문헌조사를 하였으며, 둘째, BYU의 몰몬교에 바탕한 청교도정신과 애니메이션 학과의 교육과정에 대해 분석한다. 셋째, 이를 바탕으로, 학생 애니메이션 13편의 연출적 특성에 대해 사례조사를 진행한다. 본 연구를 통해, 첫째, 대부분의 애니메이션 작품은 코믹장르로써 어린이 및 동물 캐릭터를 중심으로 가족적이고 서정적인 스토리를 구성하고 있음을 알 수 있다. 또한, 스토리 구성에 있어서 우연적 우화적인 사건 전개방식으로 연출되었다. 둘째, 종교학교인 BYU의 종교정신과 다학제적 교육방법이 애니메이션영상 제작에서 윤리적인 표현기법과 기술적 완성도로 연계됨을 알 수 있었다. 이를 통해, 실용학문 분야인 애니메이션 교육의 윤리성 회복의 관점이라는 새로운 패러다임 제시와 애니메이션 제작에서 건전한 가치관이 어떻게 내재되는지 살펴보는데 본 연구의 의의가 있다 하겠다.

Compared with other philosophers and writers who were engaged in architecture Georges Bataille was extraordinary. Because he produced anti-architectural discourse. This paper studied the Bataille's thinking with relation to architecture that used as a fundamental and privileged metaphor. Philosophy regarded as the foundation of all academic discipline needed architecture in order to show its system was durable, synthetic and hierarchical. The will to build a solid system of reasoning made philosophy to call architecture to pretend that it is structurally stable. Metaphor and representation is inevitable in philosophy. Then architectural image that supported by discourse of philosophy became a representation of sociocultural system. According to Bataille architectural representation justified existing power and belief system. With architecture Identity always represented the true and good. This kind of architectonic thinking erased the Other that allowed metaphysics and symbolic Against architecture Bataille produced writings of violation and excess corresponding to labyrinth. Labyrinth in fact made a formal structure of architecture possible to be a metaphor of symbolic system. Bataille's anti-architectural thinking paradoxically shows the importance of Architecture and give a chance to rethink the ethical aspect of architecture instead of aesthetics.

This thesis discusses a performer's unpredictability and immediacy as a prerequisite quality and/or ability to facilitate his/her professional identity as a doer on stage. To examine the key principles and approaches, this research focuses on addressing a specific aspect of the performer's transformative experience from those, directors, and practitioners' concepts that inform and enhance the performer's passive readiness on stage. To be precise, this research attempt to interrogate and articulate the place and role of a performer's internal readiness and/or that of inner looking. The performer's inner intensity as seed of action signifies that his/her body is being in a state of listening to every tiny moment with his/her heightened awareness which in turn lead the performer's body to meet the demands of theatre, the whole-body engagement. Here, this thesis argues that the key principles of acting/training underlies the importance of a performer's ethical attitude and at the same time his/her responsibility for what the performer's choices and experiences within the performative involvement, that is, a process of preparation, are not technical matter but rather, the concepts, and/or approaches from those theatre artists' practical assumptions highlight a process of thorough encountering and/or listening to his/her body. Inhabiting and/or obtaining the principles through the performer's body means being free from his/her unnecessary trait(s) which in turn initiate and then move the whole body according to what is happening in the series of moment(s) on stage. What is more, such an appropriate psychophysical order reminds us of the significance of the nature of human/performer's body, namely, to being in a state of one's 'own' body as oneness. From this perspective, this thesis further argues that the performer's body necessarily need to be affected and/or triggered in a sense of responding to the given circumstance where the performer is working on in the here and now.

도덕적인 삶을 통하여 인생의 이상을 현실에 실현하고자 하는 유학의 윤리적 가치는 도덕주체인 나 자신을 중심으로 타자와의 관계성에서 논의되고 있다. 이러한 전통 가치들은 인류가 보편적으로 추구해 온 인간다움이나 초월자에 대한 경외 등 동질성의 측면에서 보편성이 함유되어 있다. '한국적인 맥락에서의 보편성 추구'란 바로 우리의 전통 문화를 기반으로 우리 땅에서 꽃피운 '한국윤리'를 궁극적으로 표방한다. 따라서 우리는 이러한 보편성과 우리라는 다양성의 종합적인 이해를 통하여, 각 문화에 대하여 존중하는 마음을 함양하고 인류애를 실현하는 인격자로서 문화 창조의 역할을 능동적으로 수행하여야 할 것이다. 전통 윤리에 관한 탐구는 윤리의 역사와 지금을 바라볼 수 있는 중요한 계기가 될 뿐만 아니라 우리의 문화를 기반으로 한 우리의 정서를 이해하는 초석이 될 것이다. 오늘날 중요한 사회적인 관심으로 대두되고 있는 한국인으로서의 정체성 확립과 가치관의 혼란에 따른 도덕성 회복의 문제 역시 이와 그 궤를 달리하지 않는다. 우리 청소년들이 전통 윤리를 올바로 이해하고 새롭게 재창조하는 삶을 추구할 수 있을 때, 자신은 물론 사회도 건전해질 수 있을 것이다.

This paper reviews the position of health promotion in England and, in particular, how structural change and reorganisation within the NHS, along with the emergence of multidisciplinary public health, have been a challenge to its identity. It draws lessons from recent experience to emphasise the distinctive contribution of health promotion to public health and the need for proper recognition and career progression for health promotion staff. It argues that the specification of competences should be informed by a health promotion discourse and that as well as defining skills these should also include the values and ethical principles of health promotion. It argues that practice should be evidence-based and health practitioners have a responsibility to draw critically on evidence and also to generate the type of evaluation evidence which would inform dissemination.
