this paper presents an implementation of digital control system of speed sensorless for Reluctance Synchronous Motor (RSM) drives with direct torque control (DTC). The problem of DTC for high-dynamic performance RSM drive is generating a nonlinear torque due to a saturated nonlinear inductance curve with various load currents. The control system consists of stator flux observer, compensating inductance look-up table, rotor position/speed/torque estimator, two hysteresis band controllers, an optimal switching look-up table, IGBT voltage source unverter, and TMS320C31 DSP controller. The stator flux observer is based on the combined voltage and current model with stator flux feedback adapitve control that inputs are the compensated inductances, current and voltage sensing of motor terminal with estimated rotor angle for wide speed range. The rotor position is estimated rotor speed is determined by differentiation of the rotor position used only in the current model part of the flux observer for a low speed operation area. It does not requrie the knowledge of any montor paramenters, nor particular care for moter starting, In order to prove the suggested control algorithm, we have simulation and testing at actual experimental system. The developed sensorless control system is showing a good speed control response characterisitic result and high performance features in 20/1500 rpm with 1.0Kw RSM having 2.57 ratio of d/q reluctance.
In learning stage of the preliminary Cut-off indoor positioning scheme, RSSI and UUID data received from beacons at each reference point(RP) are stored in fingerprint map. The fingerprint map and real-time beacon information are compared to identify the nearest K reference points through which the user position is estimated. If the number of K is zero, this scheme cannot estimate user position. We have improved the preliminary Cut-off scheme to get the estimated user position even in the case. The improved scheme excludes the beacon of the weakest signal received by user mobile device and identifies neighborhood reference points using the other beacon information. This procedure are performed repetitively until K > 0. The simulation results confirm that the proposed scheme outperforms K-Nearest-Neighbor (KNN), Cluster KNN and the conventional Cut-off scheme in terms of accuracy while the constraints are guaranteed to be satisfied.
This paper presents a comparative study of position sensorless control schemes based on back-electromotive force (back-EMF) estimation in permanent magnet synchronous motors (PMSM). The characteristics of the estimated back-EMF signals are analyzed using various mathematical models of a PMSM. The transfer functions of the estimators, based on the extended EMF model in the rotor reference frame, are derived to show their similarity. They are then used for the analysis of the effects of both the motor parameter variations and the voltage errors due to inverter nonlinearity on the accuracy of the back-EMF estimation. The differences between a phase-locked-loop (PLL) type estimator and a Luenberger observer type estimator, generally used for extracting rotor speed and position information from estimated back-EMF signals, are also examined. An experimental study with a 250-W interior-permanent-magnet machine has been performed to validate the analyses.
We develop jumping ring system with sensor and control system using dynamic neural networks. Jumping ring, sensor and control system are controlled by 586 PC using Turbo C program. Sensor system is composed of 20 optical sensors and encoder. The control circuits are consisted of thyristor, FET and phase controller. A/D converter and optical sensor acquire real time motion data of the jumping ring system. The information of acquired jumping ring Position is estimated by using dynamic neural networks. Estimated control signals are sent to control circuits and D/A converter to track desired position of the jumping ring system. Experiment results are given to verify that proposed dynamic controller is useful in real jumping ring system.
Resolving the integer ambiguity of GPS carrier phase measurements is the most important routine in precise positioning. In this paper, success rate is analyzed when using baseline information in the process of determining attitude. The result is verified through the simulation. Determining the initial position for the ambiguity resolution is estimated by using code measurement and baseline constraint. Success rate is estimated using covariance of the formed initial position. UKF has been used to overcome the nonlinear baseline condition during the process so that the higher success rate has been obtained compared with the general attitude determination.
With increase of servo motor In industrial and home application, a number of papers related to PMSM control have been researched. Among them, sensorless control schemes are especially concerned in the view point of its cost reduction. In the conventional approach, a rotor position is generally estimated by the integration of estimated rotor speed. In this method, because of their tight relationship between the amplitude of back-emf and rotor position. it is somewhat difficult to find two parameters at the same time. To solve this problem, a novel sensorless control scheme is proposed. It utilizes a back-emf normalization, so it does not requires the variables related with the amplitude of back-emf. The validity of the proposed control scheme was verified through experimental results.
In this paper, we propose an extended Kalman filter(EKF)-based simultaneous localization and mapping(SLAM) method using laser corner pattern matching for mobile robots. SLAM is one of the most important problems of mobile robot. However, existing method has the disadvantage of increasing the computation time, depending on the number of landmarks. To improve computation time, we produce the corner pattern using classified and detected corner points. After producing the corner patterns, it is estimated that mobile robot's global position by matching them. The estimated position is used as measurement model in the EKF. To evaluated proposed method, we preformed the experiments in the indoor environments. Experimental results of proposed method are shown to maintain an accuracy and decrease the computation time.
This paper presents the position sensorless vector control of a cylindrical permanent magnet synchronous motor(PMSM) in the field weakening region. The position sensorless algorithm using an instantaneous reactive power of the PMSM is proposed. An instantaneous reactive power can be obtained from the vector product of rotor currents and back emf of the PMSM. Back emf includes the information of rotor speed. So the estimated speed can be yielded from the voltage equation of the PMSM. In other words, the estimated speed is compensated by using an instantaneous reactive power. To extend the speed range of the PMSM in the constant horsepower region, the field weakening control is applied. The proposed algorithm is not affected by mechanical motor parameters because the mechanical equation is not used. The effectiveness of the proposed algorithm is verified by the experimental results.

In a sensorless control system with a Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor (PMSM), the angular position of the rotor flux can be estimated by a voltage equation. However, the estimated angle may be inaccurate due to various causes. In this paper, it was comprehensively analyzed how various causes affect the angle error. As a result of the analysis, an error equation intuitively describing these relationships was derived. The parameter errors of a PMSM and the non-ideal properties of the driving system were identified as error-causing factors. To demonstrate the validity of the error equation, PMSMs were tested at various operating points. The variations in angle errors could be well explained with the error equation.
The purpose of this research is to provide more reliable water unit factors of domestic airports by investigating of general informations related to the domestic airport. The informations of domestic airports such as passengers, settled population of airports, building areas and water amount are investigated to estimate the unit factor of water of domestic airports. The domestic airports are divided into three type such as central airport, position airport and general airport. Through analysis of relationship between water amount and the others, the unit factor of water could be calculated. The water amount of central airport as Incheon international airport and position airports could be estimated by unit factor of settled population. The others could be estimated by unit factor of building area.
