  • Purpose: This study sought to investigate the critical features of Word of mouth (WOM) advertising and their impact on sport consumer behavior. Research design, data, and methodology: Target population of the study consisted of all sports consumer of the Federation of Special Patients and Organ Transplantation, Tehran (Iran), who had indirectly watched the World Organ Transplant Competition documentary at least once on others' advice. For this purpose, 360 sports consumers of the federation were purposefully selected and they were asked to complete the standard WOM advertising questionnaire of Asda and Ko. Pearson correlation coefficient test and modeling of structural equations were performed using Spss24 and Smart PLS software at an error level of 0.05 used to analyze the data. Results: The findings show that there is a significant relationship between experience and expertise, trust and validity, content richness, and the power of message transmission through WOM advertising and its predictability. Finally, interpersonal relationships and work involvement also had a moderating role in this regard. Conclusions: The general conclusion is that the components of WOM advertising as well as involvement and homophily with the mediating role directly as one of the presuppositions for persuasion. The sports consumer was promoting WOM.

  • Fabry disease (FD) is an X-linked inborn error of glycoshpingolipid metabolism resulting from mutation in the enzyme ${\alpha}$-galactosidase A gene. The disease is an X-linked lipid storage disorder and the lack of ${\alpha}$-Gal A causes an intracellular accumulation of glycosphingolipids, mainly globotriaosylceramide (Gb-3). Measurement of Gb-3 in plasma has clinical importance for monitoring after enzyme replacement therapy for confirmed FD patients. Using electrospray ionization MS/MS we had developed, a simple, rapid, and highly sensitive analytical method for Gb-3 in plasma was used for the purpose of screening FD among high risk groups in Korean population. To date, no comprehensive results for FD screening have been performed and reported in Korea. We screened 1,100 outpatients from 13 hospitals (including clinics) to assess the incidence of FD among patients in high risk groups. For patients with borderline level amount of Gb-3, we repeated Gb-3 or performing complementary or confirmative assay with ${\alpha}$-Gal A activity and DNA mutaion analysis for confirmation diagnosis. Of 1,100 we diagnosed 3 FD with 2 classical type and 1 carrier (0.27%).

  • Based on the exponential intervening variable, a new two-point approximation method is presented. This introduces the shifting level into each exponential intervening variable to avoid the lack of def inition of the conventional exponential intervening variables due to zero-or negative-valued design variables. Then a new quadratic approximation whose Hessian matrix has only diagonal elements of different values is proposed in terms of these intervening variables. These diagonal elements are determined in a closed form that corrects the typical error in the approximate gradient of the TANA series due to the lack of definition of exponential type intervening variables and their incomplete second-order terms. Also, a correction coefficient is multiplied to the pre-determined quadratic term to match the value of approximate function with that of the previous point. Finally, in order to show the numerical performance of the proposed method, a sequential approximate optimizer is developed and applied to solve six typical design problems. These optimization results are compared with those of TANA-3. These comparisons show that the proposed method gives more efficient and reliable results than TANA-3.

  • It was difficult that each enterprise clearly defines PDM in domestic vehicle manufacturing industry and decides investment for the successful foundation in the mid-90s. Also, it was true that most investments to success repeat a process of trial and error even if they decide and propel. Now, PDM is not a luxurious system. Because the company is operated well even if it manages business manually, the company may not be interested in PDM introduction. Problem is business efficiency and product competitiveness. Now, we must consider that introduction and drive of PDM became necessary as instrumentation for Re-Engineering of business process concerning innovative dimension restructuring that is not reorganization, development and improvement of business for enterprise's survival. This indicates that now is when level of infra construction for an IT technology dominates competitiveness of business management. Enterprise can expect effects of PDM by implementation that manages Intellectual Properties through administration of knowledge and information finally.

  • When the hydrodynamic coefficients of the ship maneuvering equation are estimated by captive model test, it is difficult to take account of the scale effect between model and full scale ship. This scale effect problem can be overcome by processing the sea trial data with system identification. Extended Kalman filter is used as a system identification technique for the modification of the simulation equation as well as the estimation of hydrodynamic coefficients The phenomena of simultaneous drifting of linear coefficients occur. It is confirmed that two coefficients in each pair-$(Y_v',\;Y_r'-m'u'),\;(N_v',\;N_r')$-are simultaneously drifting and all 4 coefficients are drifting together. Particularly simultaneous drifting and 2 coefficients in each pair is more significant. It is also shown that the simultaneous drifting of 4 coefficients can be reduced by choosing the input data which have the random v'/r' curve and 4 coefficients are estimated within $2{\sim}4%$ error, which may be noise level. So, it is recommended to operate the rudder randomly in sea trial or model test for the application of system identification technique.

  • A technique that uses linear prediction to achieve noise reduction in a voice signal which has been mixed with an ambient noise (Signal to Noise (S-N) ratio = about 0dB) is proposed. This noise reduction method which is based on the linear prediction estimates the voice spectrum while ignoring the spectrum of the noise. The performance of the noise reduction method is first examined using the transversal linear predictor filter. However, with this method there is deterioration in the tone quality of the predicted voice due to the low level of the S-N ratio. An additional processing circuit is then proposed so as to adjust the noise reduction circuit with an aim of improving the problem of tone deterioration. Next, we consider a practical application where the effects of round on errors arising from fixed-point computation has to be minimized. This minimization is achieved by using the lattice predictor filter which in comparison to the transversal type, is Down to be less sensitive to the round-off error associated with finite word length operations. Finally, we consider a practical application where noise reduction is necessary. In this noise reduction method, both the voice spectrum and the actual noise spectrum are estimated. Noise reduction is achieved by using the linear predictor filter which includes the control of the predictor filter coefficient’s update.

  • As one of solutions to obtain efficient use of limited spectrum resource, we suggest a methodology for the co-channel multi-site radar operations with a shifted linear frequency modulation (SLFM) based on GPS clock. The proposed algorithm is that we find a candidate set of SLFM signals with the minimum acceptable level of the correlation from the cross-correlation characteristics among selected SLFM signals. To verify the proposed methodology, numerical analysis has been accomplished for several radars operating in the same channel with a sawtooth or triangle LFM signal. The computational results of detected distances as well as range profiles are also examined for interference, noise, and algorithm limitation including the error of clock synchronization.

  • A soldering temperature of ($235{\pm}3$) $^{\circ}C$ is described in ISO 9455-15 for the copper corrosion test. However, this temperature is not suitable for performing lead-free solder pastes. We evaluated the compatibility of a lead-free solder paste in the experimental conditions of (Liquidus temperature + ($35{\pm}3$)) $^{\circ}C$. Based on the results after a Cu corrosion test, a proper temperature for Pb-free soldering was (melting point+($35{\pm}3$)) $^{\circ}C$. Criteria used to evaluate corrosion due to discoloration of flux residue is described in ISO 9455-15, but a more quantitative evaluation standard is needed. In this study, experimental error level was estimated by analyzing flux residue after a corrosion test for 72, 500 hours of specimens using EDS analysis with acceleration voltage. It was determined that the copper area at the flux residue boundary is suitable for the EDS analysis area.

  • Seven fully optimized geometries of 3,6-dihydrazino-1,2,4,5-tetrazine (DHT) dimers have been obtained with density functional theory (DFT) method at the B3LYP/$6-311++G^{**}$ level. The intermolecular interaction energy was calculated with zero point energy (ZPE) correction and basis set superposition error (BSSE) correction. The greatest corrected intermolecular interaction energy of the dimers is $-23.69\;kJ{\cdot}mol^{-1}$. Natural bond orbital (NBO) analysis is performed to reveal the origin of the interaction. Based on the vibrational analysis, the changes of thermodynamic properties from the monomers to dimer with the temperature ranging from 200.0 K to 800.0 K have been obtained using the statistical thermodynamic method. It was found that the hydrogen bonds dominantly contribute to the dimers, while the binding energies are not only determined by hydrogen bonding. The dimerization process can not occur spontaneously at given temperatures.
