  • Epoxy resign is used to insulate electricity in the gas insulated switchgear. There were many research to find out characteristics of the epoxy resign. But there is a poor research for the mechanical investigations. In this paper, we made an experiment and evaluated mechanical properties with specimens of the epoxy resign. Using Spacer which is a part of high voltage switchgear, and we studied the structural analysis methods and made an overture a how to analysis in order to solve problems.

  • This study deals with the effect on performance of epoxy resign mortar mixed special cement for surface control and maintenance of aging concrete construction. The test of main property of epoxy resign in this study are the evaluation on the adhesive strength between substrate and epoxy resign mortar under the environment of wet or concrete substrate surface. We gained the test results of good adhesive strength over 15 kgf/$\textrm{cm}^2$ under the wet and dry condition of concrete surface.

  • In this paper, the electrical properties due to epoxy resin used in transformer of rail road signal are studied. The specimen of epoxy resin was hardened as each 3[h], 4[h], 5[h] in this experiment. In order to measure the conductivity properties, the highmegohm meter is used at temperature 25 to 140[$^{\circ}C$] and applying voltage 100 to 1000[V]. As a result of this experiment, we confirmed that 3[h] specimen is better than the others.

Temperature Dependence of Volume Resistivity Characteristics for Nano Composit Epoxy (나노컴퍼지트 에폭시 체적고유저항의 온도의존성)

  • In this paper, nano composites material is produced by adding MgO with particle size of 5 [nm] into epoxy resign using as insulating material of power transformer apparatus and molding part to study the volume resistivity of nano composites used epoxy. We measured the volume resistivity using the High Resistance Meter(4329A) depending on changing the amount of addition and temperature in this experience. In result, we have confirmed that 1.0, 3.0, 5.0 and 10.0 [wt%] as about 2.9, 7.6, 7.5 and 6.1 times increased than virgin. Therefore, the characteristic of volume resistivity was relatively stable as specimen by added 3.0 [wt%] than the others.
