  • With the advent of the 4th Industrial Revolution, interest in AI education is increasing. In order to cultivate talented people with AI competencies who will lead the future, AI education must be conducted in a sound manner at the school site. Although AI education is being conducted at home and abroad, it was determined that the role of the AI education platform is important to implement better AI education, so this study investigated the perception of experts on the AI education platform. A perception survey was conducted based on five criteria: teaching and learning management, educational contents, accessibility, performance of AI education platform, and level suitability of elementary school students. As a results, the number of 103 educational experts selected 'Entry' as the most proper platform among the eight platforms - 'Machine learning for Kids', 'Teachable Machine', 'AI Oceans(code.org)', 'Entry', 'Genie Block', 'Elice', 'mBlock' and etc. Analysis shows that this is because 'Entry' provides quality educational content, has convenient accessibility, is easy to manage teaching and learning, as well as an AI education platform suitable for the level of elementary school. In order to apply various AI education platforms to the school field, it is necessary to train teachers in AI-related training to train them as AI education experts, and to continuously provide opportunities to experience AI education platforms. In this study, there are limitations to what is called 'a population perception survey'. because only 103 people were surveyed, and most of the experts are working in a specific area(Gyeonggi-do). In the future, it is judged that research targeting experts at the national level should be conducted to supplement these limitations.

The development of a successful entry mode for the electric Vehicle into the African continent is the main objective of the study. The study focuses on an analysis of how electric car manufacturers can enter the African market in other to achieve global sustainability and social responsibility. The methodology is based on identifying the factors that affect the choice of an entry mode into international markets by multinational companies desiring to leverage their revenue through a foreign market. It also offered a quantitative approach that can support the economic and sustainability entry mode model for EVs and a qualitative approach of Porter's five forces analysis as an entry mode coaching tool for EVs. These proxies are used in quite a wide range of multivariate statistical methods (trend analysis, ratio, and probability, comparative t-test technique, auto-regression, and ordinary least square technique). The result acknowledges joint venture and setting of the plant (physical presents) as the optimal entry mode in African EV market. It requires the EV manufacturers a tire-free emission innovation technology in order to optimize the global sustainability initiative.

  • Due to COVID-19, most schools are conducting online learning. In this study, a total of 12 block-type educational programming tool classes were conducted in the form of online learning for 6th grade elementary school students, and then quantitatively and qualitatively analyzed students' perceptions of their learning experience on entry learning. As a result of the analysis, it was found that the learner easily recognized the use of the entry program and the difficulty of learning contents, and the learning satisfaction was high. When students face difficulties, it was found that they received the most help from the hint function provided by the site itself, and they were found to be less aware of the necessity of teachers when learning entry. As a result of the qualitative analysis, it was found that the learner felt a lot of novelty and fun through easy and simple operation. On the other hand, it was found that the learning contents and hints were not understood, which made them difficult and felt that the hint contents were insufficient. It was found that students felt a sense of accomplishment by creating and manipulating programs as they wish.

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate preschoolers' entry behaviors into a play group and the responses of the play group in relation to the structural characteristics of the group in a natural situation. The entry behaviors of 43 preschoolers and the responses of the play group were time-sampled. In addition the structural characteristics, including size and sex composition of the play group, and existence of a friend in the group, were checked. The following results were obtained. (1) The subjects used frequently participating behavior and wandering behavior among their entry behaviors. The wandering behavior increased and the participating behavior decreased as the size of the play group increased. Also, the subjects used wandering behaviors in the mixed group more than in the same-sex group or opposite-sex group. There was no difference in the entry behaviors according to the existence of a friend in the group. (2) The play group ignored 56% of the entry behaviors, and accepted 38% of them. The positive response of the group increased with decreasing size of the play group, whereas the entry bids were increasingly ignored as the size of the group increased. The mixed group ignored the entry bids more than the same-sex or opposite-sex group did. Also, in the presence of a friend in the group, the play group responded more positively than the group with no friend did.

  • As the Korean school entry date changed in 2010, from March 1 to January 1, January-born children are older than their peers at school, and December-born children are the youngest. This implies that parents may have incentives to avoid giving birth in December, and a mother who gives birth in this month is likely to be a mother who is not very concerned with her child's education. This study finds that the mothers of December-born children are younger, have lower education level, and have a lower probability of being employed than other mothers. This means that December-born children are more disadvantaged because they are the youngest among their peers and are from families of low socioeconomic backgrounds.

  • Through the 2015 Revised Curriculum, programming education is introduced into the elementary school regular curriculum as part of the software education. Effective teaching & learning methods can be presented through an analysis of the effects of programming education on the problem-solving abilities. In this paper, students were divided into two groups according to their academic achievement, a learning program was developed for five times of implementation using the entry and the sensor board for the entry, and classes to which it was applied were conducted. Before and after the classes, a problem-solving test tool was used to measure and analyze the changes in Gamma waves and EEG concentration indicators. As a result, the gamma waves and the concentration indices of the students in the group with high academic achievement showed a tendency to be improved through the programming lessons, and those of the students in the group with poor academic achievement showed no such tendency. Through this, the necessity of the level-specific programming education in consideration of students' academic abilities was suggested.

  • Recently, wearable devices have gained popularity with familiar form factors and designs of eye-wear and watch to satisfy wearers' various preferences. Since UI/UX of smartphones can not be applied directly on smaller wearable devices, text entry on wearable devices is still problematic. In this paper, we first identify UI/UX problems of existing input methods and propose a new input method for wearable devices specifically targeting smartwatch platforms. We design and implement an efficient text entry method for wearable devices using trackball sensor and evaluate its performance and usability.

  • Vocational education has been constantly blamed for training skills that are not suitable for the field. This study was sought for finding out the necessary skills for the hotel entry-level cooks by conducting in-depth interviews, questionnaires, and case studies in terms of NCS's basic competencies and competencies required at work environment. The results of this study are as follows: First, in the field, job performance ability is more important than skills and knowledge. Second, among the NCS's basic competencies, communication skills, interpersonal skills, self-development skills, information skills, and professional ethics are prioritized competencies for hotel-entry level cooks. Third, in terms of competency factors at work, it is necessary to learn the adaptability of the field. Fourth, in case of overseas culinary institutes, the core of their culinary education was the system to learn how to operate the site rather than the education about cooking skills or knowledge. Fifth, in holistic approach, the result showed that four elements which are skills, knowledge, field practice, and simulation training are required for Culinary Arts curriculum.
