Approach to improve construction management using Information Technology (IT) (정보기술(IT) 기반을 통한 시공관리 선진화 방안)

  • There is various points that should be improved in Fairness such as our contract practice to propose construction projects, project managing and the stakeholders' way of thinking and culture. We consider that the revision of construction related provisions and systems is required but even more, an overall change in business management through the implementation of Integrated Construction Information Management System that will enable the owner, which drives the project, and contractor sharing construction information is required. To mange construction related information in an integrated manner, designing information should be smoothly transferred to purchasing information, and changes are required in order to move ahead to process-oriented work system. Finally information created from various construction organizations should be delivered in an aligned and standardized manner as well. The domestic Nuclear Power Plant Construction has been accepting various technology transfers from U.S, France, Canada and UK, which enabled us to self-support technology and recently even proceeded to the phase exporting our technology to others. However, continuous effort is required to improve internal business efficiency and to respond to external environmental change such aselectricity market deregulation. Recently, in accordance with the result in number of CEO's intention to make progress in IT and improve business efficiency, the number of enterprises introducing Enterprise Resource Planning is increasing. ERP is an innovative tool which changes the way of performing work from organization and department orientation to process-orientation in order to optimize the resources, such as human and material resources, through out the Enterprise by performing BPR which will maximize overall business efficiency of the enterprise, such includes not only construction management, but also business management. KHNP continued to performing large scaled construction projects such as nuclear power plant construction for past 30 years and took the initiatives of large scale project management and Quality management ability in domestic industry by having independent capability of over all construction planning, purchasing and, construction and start up management etc. To maintain our leading position of improving construction management technology based on our accumulated project management experience and technology, KHNP included construction into our ERP project in purpose of innovating construction business. We would like to discuss the characteristics of nuclear construction business, project management system, information system infrastructure and information sharing system among construction related entities, and implementation practices for information system, and consider how to resolve our practice that should be improved in this thesis.

  • 최근 ERP 시스템은 웹을 이용하는 것은 기본이며, 스마트 폰과 같은 모바일 기기를 이용하여 현장에서 실시간으로 각종 업무를 처리하는 것이 당연시 하고 있다. 특히 가설업종과 같은 분야에서는 야외 현장에서 처리하는 업무가 대부분이므로 업무의 실시간 처리가 가능해야 하며, 인사, 회계, 물류, 건설, 토목 등의 업무가 복잡하고 많은 부분이 서로 유기적으로 연결되어 처리되어야 하므로 일반적인 경영관리시스템과는 많은 차이가 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 가설업을 주업으로 하는 건설 토목 분야에 최적화된 ERP시스템을 제안한다.

Patterns in User Requests for Facility Management Services in Higher Education Facilities (대학 시설물 유지관리 서비스 사용자 요청 패턴 분석)

  • This paper aims to identify patterns in users' requests for facility management (FM) services in higher education facilities. We analyzed data collected from 309 service request forms, made available via a department office and an enterprise resource planning system, at a private university in Seoul between May 2009 and February 2015. We found that the number of user requests were the highest in September and October. Requests for electronic and communication (E/C) services outnumbered those for architectural services and mechanical and plumbing (M/P) services. Repair requests for doors and windows were the most common under architectural services; repairs for air-conditioners and radiators were the most commonly under M/P services; and installation of electrical outlets, telephone wires, and internet services were the most sought-after E/C services. Maintenance requests were received every three months, while repair requests were received every six or seven months.

  • This study has focused on the introduction each stages of ERP(Enterprise Resource Planning) implementation for an agricultural company's knowledge management & innovation. We have analyzed the company's background and found some conflicts and problems caused by the stockholders while implementing ERP systems. This case study has noted well how an agricultural company including between a provider and a stakeholder could be able to settle the ERP system with an necessary customizing work into the organization. Finally, ROSEPIA's implemented ERP systems have increased not only productivity but also archived the factuality and data reliability. This study give us an implication of how an export oriented and agricultural company, ROSEPIA made its company innovated and run its organizations through knowledge management using its ERP.

  • 전사적 자원 관리 또는 기업 통합 정보시스템으로 해석되는 ERP(Enterprise Resource Planning) 시스템이 최근 들어 널리 확산되고 있으며, 향후 그 정도가 커질 것으로 예상되고 있어, ERP에 관한 지식을 가진 인력의 요구가 증대되고 있는 실정이다. 이와 같은 필요성을 충족시키기 위해, 본 연구에서는 가상 기업을 대상으로 한 시나리오를 바탕으로 기본적인 업무 흐름과 ERP를 통해 처리될 때의 과정을 업무프로세스, 사용자 화면 및 동영상을 통해 학습할 수 있는 교육시스템을 개발하였다. 본 연구에서 개발된 교육시스템은 크게 ERP 개요, ERP 사용법, 비즈니스 프로세스, 적합화(Customization)의 4부분으로 구성되어 있으며, 향후 Web 환경에서도 쉽게 사용될 수 있도록 수정될 경우 교육의 효과가 클 것으로 기대된다.

  • Odoo is an enterprise resource planning information system providing modules to support the basic business function in companies. This research will look into the development of an additional module at Odoo. This module is a data mining module using Market Basket Analysis (MBA) using FP-Growth algorithm in managing OLTP of sales transaction to be useful information for users to improve the analysis of company business strategy. The FP-Growth algorithm used in the application was able to produce multidimensional association rules. The company will know more about their sales and customers' buying habits. Performing sales trend analysis will give a valuable insight into the inner-workings of the business. The testing of the module is using the data from X Supermarket. The final result of this module is generated from a data mining process in the form of association rule. The rule is presented in narrative and graphical form to be understood easier.

  • The purpose of this study is to expand businesses' adoption of the Enterprise Resource Planning System (E.R.P.S.). In order to accomplish the objective, the following conditions need to be fulfilled. 1) Clearness of the goal and expected effect of E.R.P.S. adoption 2) Definiteness of the extent of E.R.P.S. construction 3) The management's will to E.R.P.S. adoption If the E.R.P.S is adopted, the following effects are expected. 1) Speedy quality decision-making is possible. 2) Time taken from the order of the product to its release can be curtailed (from 40days to 10days). 3) Time taken for the development of the product can be shortened (from 24 months to 10 months). 4) Cost reduction is possible by using necessary information in real time.

  • 급변하는 환경 속에서 기업은 경영환경변화에 따라 새로운 경쟁력 강화 방법들을 모색하고 있으며 불안한 환경에서의 생존을 위하여 끊임없는 노력과 혁신을 추구하고 있다. 이러한 시점에서 ERP(Enterprise Resource Planning : 전사적 자원관리) 시스템은 기업의 경쟁력을 재고하고 변화하는 비즈니스 환경을 예측하여 신속하고 현명하게 대처하기 위한 수단으로서의 역할을 수행하고 있다. ERP 시스템의 도입은 회사 내부의 업무 프로세스에 대해 전반적인 변화를 가져올 만한 시도이며, 도입의 실패 시 막대한 물적 피해가 야기되므로, 성공적 구축을 위한 노력이 절실히 요구된다. 특히 중소기업의 경우 ERP 시스템 도입을 위해 요구되는 인력 및 자금이 부족한 현실이다. 이에 본 논문에서는 중소기업에서의 성공적인 ERP 시스템 구축을 위한 방법론으로서 산ㆍ학 협력모델을 제안한다. ERP 시스템 구축을 위해 기업과 학교가 산ㆍ학 협력체제를 구축함으로서 기업측과 학교측 모두에게 이득이 되는 전략을 마련하고자 한다.

Analysis of Approaches of Integrating e-Marketplace with ERP in B2B EC (B2B EC에서의 전자시장과 ERP의 통합 접근방식 분석)

  • Among EC areas. the B2B EC market is being spotlighted as an important interesting research area considering its size and the potential impact on companeies and the whole society. In comparison with private consumers in B2C EC. business buyers in B2B EC have to precisely keep track of the purchase records. and integrate them with the buyer's e-procurement system, which might have been implemented as a part of integrated ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems. There are three approaches for such integration between ERP and e-marketplace in B2B EC; Two previous approaches are Inside-Out approach and Outside-In approach. And a newly, one is b-cart approach. In this paper, we try to survey these three approaches and make a comparison analysis. From this research. we identify that the b-cart approach is the most efficient framework in integrating ERP with e-marketplace in B2B EC.

Design and Implementation of Component-Based XML/EDI System (컴포넌트기반의 XML/EDI 시스템 설계 및 구현)

  • One of the important applications for business-to-business electronic commerce is in procurement and inventory management using electronic data interchange(EDI). Using online catalogs and approved supplier lists, firms can easily create requisitions and purchasing documents. The emerging trend in EDI technology is changed from VAN(Value Added Network) based EDI to XML based EDI. This paper intends to suggest a component-based XML/EDI system using Unified Modeling Language(UML), as an application system for automobile part industry. Applying component based XML/EDI systems designed with UML methodology, we analyzed the workflow and the document on procurement process between trading partners and implemented a prototype of efficient XML/EDI system, as a surrogate of existing VAN/EDI. The result of applying object-oriented CBD(Component Based Development) technique is to minimize the risk of life cycle and facilitate the reuse of software as mentioned to limitation of information engineering methodology. It enables the interoperability with corporate legacy systems such as ERP(Enterprise Resource Planning), SCM(Supply Chain Management). This system proposes a solution to apply analysis phase and design phase in implementation of XML/EDI system. The implementation of XML/EDI system using CBD shows the ease of use in software reuse and the interoperability with corporate internal information system. The purchasing department with XML/EDI system can electronically communicate purchase orders, delivery schedules to external suppliers and interoperate with other application systems.
