Purpose - Considering the recent instability of world economy and its heavy dependence on foreign, Korea must formulate breakthrough approaches to proactively cope with these adverse global developments. As such, this study aims to ascertain how participation in global value chains (GVCs) relates to corporate productivity and derive policy implications. Design/methodology - This study utilizes the microdata of Korean manufacturers to develop indicators of GVC participation at the enterprise level and analyzes the effects of GVC participation on the firm's total factor productivity by using fixed effect model. Findings - Enterprises with highest rates of export-side GVC participation see their productivity grow as their export-side GVC participation rates increase. In addition, when companies are classified by their export-side GVC participation rates, increasing export values improves all firm's productivity. In particular, those with low participation rates are analyzed to achieve higher productivity by increasing their imports, not only exports, which implies that companies with lower export-side GVC participation can boost productivity by reinforcing their export and import activities. Originality/value - This research paper distinguishes itself from others in that it makes a novel attempt to design the indicators of GVC participation at the enterprise level, not at the national or industry level. In addition, this study contributes to the existing literature by dividing companies into subgroups depending on their GVC participation rates for each of export and import and identifying variances in the effect of GVC participation on productivity growth among subgroups.

Purpose: This study aims to analyze the confirmation the purchase decision of community enterprise products, such information is an important issue for community enterprise entrepreneurs to develop a marketing strategy through the purchasing decision of community enterprise products Research design, data and methodology: The research was designed by using mixed methods research (exploratory design), starting with in-depth interviews of consumers of community enterprise products to determine the reasons for their purchase decisions. The researcher then used the data from the in-depth interviews to create a questionnaire for consumers of community enterprise products. These data were used to analyze the confirmation components of such elements. Results: The analysis found the following. 1. Decision-making is based on a product 2. Decision-making is based on social context considerations Conclusions: Develop an image to make a difference between community enterprise entrepreneurs and general entrepreneurs for distribution. The local wisdom, it is a local intellectual resource. It should be used in adjusting or blending old knowledge with new knowledge together appropriately. Creating community participation, love, unity, and the sympathy of the people in the community can help in participation in the operation of community enterprises.

The Law of effective building and operation for the information systems took effect at Dec. 2005. Every government and public agency have to build own enterprise architecture(EA), sometimes it's called the Information Technology Architecture(ITA), by this law. The Ministry of National Defense(MND) built the enterprise architecture(EA) during 2006. 12$\sim$2007. 11 by this law too. We knew the specific characters of the public sector thru the EA project. The public sector is less active than commercial sector and most members of the public sector are just looking on the project as a spectator. So the most of key for the success of EA is how to catch the Sponsorship and Participation of members. In this paper we propose the effective building methodology for the Enterprise Architecture of public agency applying the MND-EA. The other governments and public agencies can build own the EA easily by the proposed methodology.

With Zohar(1980)'s research on safety climate and industrial safety, occupational safety and health literatures begin to emphasize the influence of organizational context. Based on this research trend, this paper tried to review the relationship between safety efforts and employee safety participation, and the moderating effect of safety motivation on such relationship. Based on the responses from 643 manufacturing workers, the results of statistical analysis showed that company precaution activity and management safety involvement have affirmative effects on the employee safety participation, but safety education has not. The extent precaution activity forces on participation activity was proved to be influenced by employee safety motivation.

The aim of this study was first to expand participation types in the field of beauty design by examining activities in the field, and second, to seek practical methods for addressing the important issue of social responsibility amid the current pandemic situation. Accordingly, social responsibility in design was examined through a review of previous studies. The features of practice domains and design performance fields were examined comparatively. As a result, it was found that social practices take place in various sectors, with sensibility toward the environment being escalated to a new level in the cosmetics industry. In terms of cosmetics enterprise practices, collecting, recycling, manufacturing, and retail networking has been established to reuse up to 95% of waste resources. Furthermore, ethical responsibility and participation concerning product and service waste resources are recommended, resulting in the supply of eco-friendly products in a virtuous cycle. In terms of systematic policy, even component transformation (such as organic certification and excluding toxic substances) is being carried out. However, it was difficult to identify such responsible activities in Korea; thus, systematic practice is needed. Designers take part in talent donation activities, and it was the sector they prefer the most. However, it is necessary to conduct studies on limitations such as venues equipped with cosmetics procedure equipment and public cosmetics sanitation and make systematic improvement, such that activities can be led with initiative from passive participation.

As disasters in the modem era become a large scale and complexity, no single entity can manage them. Instead collective cooperation between civilian, enterprise, school and government sectors is significantly needed, along with a well prepared mechanism. Thus, I attempt to construct the applicable network of civilian, enterprise, school and government sectors for disaster management through exemplary case studies of established countries as well as Korea's current operations and its drawbacks, based upon a networking design of disaster management organizations as belows: Firstly, it is cooperation and coordination among relevant organizations that are required essentially in the new era, in view of formative condition of necessary environment for civil participation. The cooperation and coordination can be made only through the network of civilian, enterprise, school and government sectors. Secondly, in order to build up the network, major roles and tasks which should be done by civilian, enterprise, school and government sectors respectively are listed based upon a stage of disaster management. Thirdly, operation models of a safety monitoring unit, a disaster prevention unit, a emergency response unit, and a rehabilitation unit are proposed in line with the network of civilian, enterprise, school and government sectors in regional base.

In this paper, in order to clarify the effect and characteristics of rural women enterprise in rural areas, AWATAKE Restaurant at Kita Ward, Kobe is taken as a case study, and its management and operation condition, and the effects towards the region are analyzed. As a result, it can be concluded that: 1) according to the local employment and purchase of local food products, the economic effect towards the area shows a returning 73% of the gross sales to the area, 2) lifestyle technology which is empowered by women and food culture which is used as a start in the enterprise activities, are functioning as new workplace to cultivate technologies own by the women, moreover, members have never decreased, and most of them stayed for as long as 10 years, 3) however, the average age of the members are high and decreasing, leaving a new task on how to encourage participation of young members, 4) lastly, rural women enterprise is easy to manage, and also received cooperation from family in the members' working environment.

We study the antecedents to tie formation on an (Facebook-like) enterprise social media platform implemented to support cross-boundary connections. Research has produced mixed findings regarding the role of social media in cultivating bridging vs. closed networks. We examine the tie formation patterns of 1,386 enterprise social media users over a two-year period. Specifically, we observe who became (or chose not s become) "friends" with whom at the dyadic level and relate the decisions to various mechanisms that affect one's network to expand, constrain, or bridge. Using logistic and OLS regressions, we find that users tend to form ties via reciprocity and transitivity (with friends of friends), both of which help expand one's network. We also find strong networking tendency toward functional and hierarchical homophily (same business unit and same rank, respectively), which is likely to constrain one's network (closed network structure). We find that one's participation in various online interest groups is likely to open one's network (bridging network structure) while no evidence found for preferential attachment. Overall, we find that enterprise social media offers features, some of which are likely to foster bridging while others foster closed networks via different mechanisms.

China's Marine Industry are growing up gradually as China's economy has advanced. Also China's Sipping Industry has been advanced. China Sipping Company is going to become a top 5 of world marine industry. China's Marine Industry has supervised and controled a manager under the mechanism of market economy. China's Marine Industry has been changed from the state-owned marine enterprise affected by government and government has effected on the formation of the board of directors and manager. So, the supervision function of the board of directors was reduced. The executive' role is emphasized when possessing the state-owned enterprise through disposal or auction, or when inducing the participation of foreign attraction. It is desirable for the Chinese director and officer to prepare for the claims internationally due to the international economic actions, , westernization of the public's consciousness about the compensation for damage followed by the increasing national income, and to prepare the increasing demand of cases due to increasing lawyers.
