  • This study empirically analyzed at domestic manufacturing and service firms to find any moderating effects of enterprise management strategies and information-oriented development strategies between enterprise characteristic factors and IT adoption performance. Task characteristics were analyzed based on information provision extent, system quality and perceived effects while environmental characteristics based on competition extent, external pressure, environmental uncertainty, etc. As a result it was found that strategic suitability factors had a moderating effect between adoption performance and task characteristic variables such as system quality and perceived effect, environmental characteristics such as competition level, external pressure and environmental uncertainty. However, strategy suitability was found not to have any moderating role between task characteristic information provision extent and adoption performance. These findings indicate that enterprises need to plan and implement corporate management strategies and information-oriented development strategies in close coordination for new IT adoption and spread.

  • We could not find researches for relationship between safety performance and business performance in comparison with other research areas. Then in this paper we suggest the hypotheses which can systematically explain the relationship between safety performance and business performance and analyze the effects of safety performance on business performance through regression analysis. In order to develop the regression model between safety performance and business performance, the previous studies both for environmental management and for quality management had been reviewed. We obtained the result that the number of the injured persons in occupational accident and the number of lost work day because of the accident which are selected as measurement for safety performance had an effect on business performance through empirical analysis both for large 43 enterprises and for small and medium 30 enterprises. Also we had found that the control variables selectively 3had an effect on business performance. Finally, we concluded that the safety performance had an effect on business performance both for large enterprise and for small and medium enterprise.

  • This study empirically verified the effect of environmental dynamism on changes in the dynamic and operational capabilities of an enterprise and its innovation performance. With the aim of quantification, the concept and definition of each capability were defined as a hierarchical structure of dynamic and operational capabilities. Five research hypotheses were established through prior research on dynamic capabilities, operational capabilities, innovation performance, and environmental dynamism. For empirical analysis, the hypotheses were verified based on surveys from 300 Korean manufacturing companies. It was shown that Dynamic capabilities had a positive relationship with operational capabilities and operational capabilities had a positive relationship with innovation performance. And it was shown that operational capabilities had a positive relationship with radical innovation in business groups with high environmental dynamism while operating capabilities had a positive relationship with gradual innovation in business groups with low environmental dynamism. Also, the moderating effect of environmental dynamism was not significant in the relationship with dynamic capabilities on operational capabilities. This study is meaningful in that it lays the groundwork for empirically verifying the dynamic capabilities of an enterprise by embodying its dynamic capabilities and operational capabilities into processes, and verifies the effect of environmental change on its capabilities and innovation performance. And it has implications to suggest how an enterprise should transform its capabilities to sustain its competitive advantage in a rapidly changing environment.

  • This research proposes a new approach to measure corporate contributions to sustainability called Sustainable Value. With some global corporations which recognize the seriousness of environmental crisis and their social responsibility, enterprises are positively accepting the sustainable management. Also, publication of the sustainability report is proliferating which is showing the enterprise's strategy, activity, result and influence in environmental, economic, social cases to the stakeholder. However, to settle and proliferate this current, it rests with how to evaluate enterprises sustainability in reasonable and reliable figure. In this context, what introduced and taking effects are sustainability report evaluation and awarding system. But the quality of sun stainability report and its content's depth and the evaluation of enterprise's sustainability itself should be distinguished. Because the enterprise which published excellent graded sustainability report is not always the enterprise that is sustainable. Then, how could we prove the result of enterprise's sustainable management based on sustainability report? This paper is to find the answer and to utilize it based on sustainability report, particularly sustainable value model as the central figure.
