Voice and Video Call Continuity for Enterprise Users (기업형 사용자들을 위한 음성/영상 서비스 이동성 제공 방안)

  • Recently, as wired and wireless communication services have rapidly developed and multimodal mobile devices which have various characteristics have widely spread, the need for new convergence services increases. The growing population of VoIP technologies and the high communication expense yield that the market of IP based telephony such as WiFi phone and IP phone is substituted for one of the conventional PSTN telephony. With the help of this trend, the wireline network operators desire to find a market in mobile networks. Therefore, they focus on Fixed Mobile Convergence (FMC) service as one of the key factors to accomplish this goal. FMC services are able to provide the mobility of voice services between circuit switched and packet switched networks. IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) based Voice Call Continuity (VCC) is one of the schemes to embody FMC services. As Application Server (AS) which has this VCC function provides seamless handover of services between heterogeneous networks, FMC subscribers can communicate seamlessly with others m WiFi domain and COMA domain using WiFi-COMA dual phone. Most of enterprises have already introduced IP network infrastructure and IP-PBX (Private Branch eXchange) for telephony. However, the problems of high communication cost and work inefficiency due to frequent outside jobs or business trips have remained. In order to solve these problems, demands for enterprise FMC services increase. In this paper, we introduce a new IP-PBX based VCC model that can provide seamless handover of voice services between WiFi and COMA networks for enterprise users and we investigate some interworking and security issues between Soft Switch (SSW) and IMS, or between IMSs. In addition, we introduce a new service that can provide the continuity of voice sessions as well as video sessions using Multimedia Session Continuity (MMSC) technology which has evolved from VCC. This service is expected to be one of the next-generation personalized services based on user's context.

  • This study is based on providing core infrastructure to make or extend an ERP strategy to make the proper model to cope effectively with various customer requirements and market changes through ERP improvement. The purpose of this study is to support making a competitive advantage by raising productivity and reducing costs as a result of making and applying the "mobile real time connection to ERP"model which is accessible anywhere and anytime using PDA and wireless LAN on the basis of mobile business concept. The model is implemented as the "mobile Material Management System" on the area of material management of ERP in the enterprise which already implemented ERP system. This model is also applied into other divisions of the enterprise. This case study shows that the proper application of ERP reduces costs by reducing business process lead time, increase productivity and customer satisfaction through mobility and instant connectivity and easiness of the system. It is recommended to apply this model into the ERP system which is used in most enterprise, to make a competitive advantage. To sum up, the model in this study can be applied into the enterprise which wants to reduce costs, increase productivity and customer satisfaction through ERP improvement.

  • In this paper, we target to develop weather platform and services to use in smart devices which is in real-time mobility environment. The existing TPEG-based navigation service requires a dedicated terminal, DMB communication method, and service scalability, so there are limits. In this paper, we analyze, processing and storage the real-time weather information suitable for navigation on the end user's smart devices by weather information service platform has been developed that can provide a standardized. In addition, we develop weavigation services and API for the developer to develop weather services easily. And we introduce system for serving information of dangerous district forecast based on natural disaster dangerous district data.

Mobility and productivity: brain circulation and sustainability of the Korean academic system

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the unique characteristics of the Korean academic system with regard to brain circulation, with a specific emphasis on the influence of overseas-trained academics on research activities within the Korean academic system. We have analyzed the statistical data on individual characteristics and performances of 48,499 Korean academics in science and engineering. We have examined the results at both the system and individual levels within the broader context of the macro characteristics of the Korean academic system. Our analysis reveals that the total number of domestically-trained academics exceeds the number of overseas-trained academics. However, in terms of research funding, overseas-trained academics tend to receive more funding than domestically-trained academics. Furthermore, after controlling other factors such as funding, personal attributes, and environmental factors, our analysis demonstrates that overseas training has a significant and favorable impact on the publication of internationally renowned journals. As such, the presence of overseas returnees has been essential for the effective functioning of the Korean academic system in the global research network and for conducting high-quality academic research. Therefore, the advantages of dependence on scientific core countries such as the US for overseas training have persisted. Nevertheless, upon scrutinizing the group of recently appointed 5,806 academics exclusively, we have discovered that junior academics who received their education domestically exhibit sufficient academic proficiency compared to their colleagues educated overseas. This observation highlights the potential for the Korean academic system to evolve into a self-sustaining system.

  • This study takes of youth panel data(2002-2003), there is the purpose to know to youth employed's labor mobility conditions of employment status conversion and examine on factors affecting conversion of employment status. Main analysis result and policy imply, is as following. First, although youth employed's non-standard employment shows some decrease, employment youth hierarchy was construed that youth of our country is consisting very changefully because appear great turnover that is converted by unemployment or Not economically activity population same period. Specially, non-standard employment phenomenon of woman or low in scholarship person appeared notedly, and because phenomenon that is converted by unemployment or Not economically activity population is expose that is deepened, discriminating policy of government dimension is required for employment stabilization of these class. Second, show result that danger to escape to non-standard job risk trap which seeking employment activity of youth class is arranged case or company which is formed by official path is suitable becomes low, must formulate path of employment about youth class and improve qualitative level of employment through suitable job placement education of youth class or function (technology) level. Third, when was construed, but take into account that the although large enterprise have low risk in non-standard job, recently employment of youth class consists very limited, rather small scale business or smaller enterprise's competitive power preferably need to be plan. Finally, danger to non-standard job youth employed's company form is government connection wonder was expose that high, Such result can do that it is difficult by limited research period, but reflect actuality that youth unemployment policy of our country is enforced laying stress on public labor or unregular job employment such as internship system. Therefore, current youth unemployment policy may have to change by employment policy that can secure stable work record by youth class or act as bridge-building that promote conversion by full-time job.

  • The application range of IEEE 802.11 wireless LAN has rapidly expanding from campus, enterprise to the public network of Hot Spot area due to the advantages of easiness of construction, mobility of wireless client station, convenience of usage and so on. However the security of WLAN(Wireless LAN) is vulnerable inherently because of using RF as a medium, and so the dangers of infringement of personal information and inside data of enterprises have increased and wardriving attack searching for security vulnerability in wireless LAN has become more serious especially. In this paper, we find out the overview of various procedures and preparatory stages for wardriving attack against wireless LAN, and propose complementary methods to prevent information infringement accidents from wardriving attack in wireless LAN. For this purpose, we make an equipment which is suitable for wardriving in wireless LAN and show security vulnerability of AP(Access Point) operation in WLAN around Yangjae-Dong in Seoul as a result of using the equipment.

  • In this paper, we build a web ERP system that is focused on the logistics, storage, materials management to establish internal enterprise information system for small business. This system is possible to be transformed to separated modules so it is possible to be modified and added easily. And it is also implemented to provide mobile interlace for mobility extension. The ShopE.R ERP system is a solution that can be reorganized flexibly according to variable changes in the corporate business processes.

  • 80년대 초반에 등장한 퍼스널 컴퓨터에서부터 90년대에 급격히 확산된 클라이언트/서버 환경에 이르기까지 분산 컴퓨팅은 관리가 어렵다고 증명되었다. IBM의 Tivoli나 HP의 OpenView 등을 포함한 거대한 엔터프라이즈 관리 시스템 산업이 이러한 표면상의 극복하기 힘든 법칙처럼 여겨지는 것이 그 증거라고 하겠다. 이 후 무선의 개념이 등장했다. NOP World Technology가 Cisco사를 위해 2001년에 시행한 조사에 의하면 최종 사용자는 무선랜을 사용함으로써 생산성이 최고 22% 향상되었고 조사대상의 63%가 일상적인 직무에서 정확도가 향상되었다. 이 모든 것은 투자대비수익(ROI) 계산상 사용자 당 $550 해당한다. 현재 이동성과 IT 관리 기능의 딜레마를 동시에 고려하며 저렴한 몇몇 솔루션들이 소개되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 분산 컴퓨팅의 다음 진화 단계인 무선 네트워킹과 관련된 문제를 해결할 수 있는 혁신적이고 전체적인 접근법을 소개한다. 본 논문에서는 무선 컴퓨팅과 보안의 본질 및 무선랜이라는 새로운 컴퓨팅 패러다임으로 인하여 파생되는 운영과 관리의 어려움을 소개한다. 이러한 환경이 정의되면 본 논문은 이해하기 쉬운 5x5 레이어 매트릭스를 바탕으로 각 레이어의 독특한 본질을 고려한 혁신적인 무선랜 관리 방법에 대해 설명한다. 마지막으로 무선 네트워킹, 컨버젼스, 궁극적으로 분산 컴퓨팅만이 가지는 문제점을 해결할 수 있는 Red-M의 백 오피스 애플리케이션에 기반한 솔루션을 소개한다. 본 논문의 목표는 Red-M의 성공에 관한 두 가지 중요한 과정을 설명하고자 함이다. 이는 안전한 무선 네트워크 제어에서 비롯되는 무선 환경이 약속하는 장점들을 고루 제공하는 것과 나쁜 의도의 사용자를 차단할 뿐 아니라 올바른 사용자와 또한 나머지 일반 사용자를 총체적으로 관리할 수 있는, 안정적이고 확장 가능하며 직관적인 시스템을 제공하는 것이다.가 생성된다. $M_{C}$에 CaC $l_2$를 첨가한 경우 $M_{C}$는 완전히 $M_{Cl}$ 로 전이를 하였다. $M_{Cl}$ 에 CaC $l_2$를 첨가하였을 경우에는 아무런 수화물의 변화는 발생하지 않았다. 따라서 CaS $O_4$.2$H_2O$를 CaC $O_3$및 CaC $l_2$와 반응시켰을 때의 AFm상의 안정성 순서는 $M_{S}$ < $M_{C}$< $M_{Cl}$ 로 된다.phy.   • In order to provide quality services across international airports, airline personnel must rapidly and effectively develop and share knowledge. Combining components of adaptive structuration theory (AST) and media synchronicity theory (MST), a research framework was developed to convey three distinct stages of knowledge sharing. We use the grounded theory research method for the qualitative data collected from audio transcripts of employees learning how to use and work with company issued smartphones with push-to-talk functionalities. Data was collected from 33 operations personnel. The results of the content analysis are recorded for the elements of each of the three concepts of our research framework. During the social interaction stage, the content of the audio conversations shifts mainly from conflict management to task management; for media synchronicity, from quality to quantity; for productive outcomes, from efficiency to commitment. New insights are uncovered from our analysis of data from the field as users advance from learning how to use the mobile devices, to using the devices for managing knowledge for their work in the airline industry.
