The correct and opportune decision of reengaging the intercepted target is required in order to enhance the engagement performance of the surface to air missile systems that has the ability to defense or attack against various targets at the same time. The engagement efficiency and success of these systems will be largely enhanced by assigning quickly its system resources to the intercepted target and minimizing the waste of system resources for the target which is not able to attack any more. The kill-assessment algorithm has to be able to evaluate automatically whether various targets intercepted by missiles are killed or not on the basis of the reasonable confidence level. The definition of kill assessment is discussed and the kill assessment algorithm is designed reliably by using Kalman filter and a probability theory. Finally its performance is evaluated and analyzed by the Monte Carlo simulation.

This study identifies and validates the factors that affect sales performance of salespersons in the business software industry. In the study, in order to measure the dependent variable (performance of the salesperson) more comprehensively, multiple items are utilized and both outcome and behavior indicators are used. Independent variables are identified based on the classification of Verbeke et al. [(2011] including sales related knowledge, degree of adaptiveness, role ambiguity, and work engagement. Results of the hypotheses testing show that 'sales related knowledge' and 'work engagement' are statistically significant factors, but 'degree of adaptiveness' and 'role ambiguity' are not. This study has a few limitations and future research direction to overcome the limitation is suggested : use of both perceptions of the salesperson and objective measures in measuring the related variables; study including cognitive ability; analyses of the factors across various types of software companies; and analyses of the factors on the team level.
The recent conflict between Russia and Ukraine underscores the significant of military logistics support in modern warfare. Military logistics support is intricate and specialized, and traditionally centered on the mission-level operational analysis and functional models. Nevertheless, there is currently increasing demand for military logistics support even at the engagement level, especially for resupply using unmanned transport assets. In response to the demand, this study proposes a task model of the military logistics support for engagement-level analysis that relies on the logic of ammunition resupply below the battalion level. The model employs a decisions tree to establish the priority of resupply based on variables such as the enemy's level of threat and the remaining ammunition of the supported unit. The model's feasibility is demonstrated through a combat simulation using OneSAF.

The purpose of this study was to analyze differences in emotional labor strategies, burnout, and work engagement according to general characteristics of school foodservice employees as well as verify differential effects of two emotional labor strategies on burnout and work engagement. Our survey was administered to 400 school foodservice employees in Gyeongbuk from March 3 to April 25, 2014. A total of 358 completed questionnaires were returned, and 350 questionnaires were used for final analysis. For verification of mean differences, the mean scores for surface acting, deep acting, burnout, and work engagement were shown to be 2.38/5.00, 3.46, 2.67, and 3.41, respectively. The mean surface acting was significantly different according to cooking certification (P<0.001), turnover number (P<0.001), salary (P<0.001), and school level (P<0.01). The mean deep acting was significantly different according to educational background (P<0.001), cooking certification (P<0.001), employment status (P<0.001), salary (P<0.001), school level (P<0.01), and meal service time (P<0.05). The mean burnout was significantly different according to educational background (P<0.01), cooking certification (P<0.05), employment status (P<0.001), school level (P<0.001), and meal service time (P<0.001). The mean work engagement was significantly different according to cooking certification (P<0.001), employment satus (P<0.001), salary (P<0.001), school level (P<0.01), and meal service time (P<0.05). Verification of causal models found that surface acting and deep acting increased burnout and deep acting, respectively (research model). Additionally, surface acting did not influence work engagement, and deep acting did not influence burnout (alternative models). In other words, we identified that emotional labor strategies have differential influences on burnout and work engagement. Finally, implications and limitations of this study are discussed.

Autoreactive B cells are not entirely deleted, but some remain as immunocompetent or anergic B cells. Although the persistence of autoreactive B cells as anergic cells has been shown in transgenic mouse models with the expression of B cell receptor (BCR) reactive to engineered self-antigen, the characterization of naturally occurring anergic B cells is important to identify them and understand their contribution to immune regulation or autoimmune diseases. We report here that a low-level expression of CD138 in the splenic B cells marks naturally arising anergic B cells, not plasma cells. The CD138int B cells consisted of IgMlowIgDhigh follicular (FO) B cells and transitional 3 B cells in homeostatic conditions. The CD138int FO B cells showed an anergic gene expression profile shared with that of monoclonal anergic B cells expressing engineered BCRs and the gene expression profile was different from those of plasma cells, age-associated B cells, or germinal center B cells. The anergic state of the CD138int FO B cells was confirmed by attenuated Ca2+ response and failure to upregulate CD69 upon BCR engagement with anti-IgM, anti-IgD, anti-Igκ, or anti-IgG. The BCR repertoire of the CD138int FO B cells was distinct from that of the CD138- FO B cells and included some class-switched B cells with low-level somatic mutations. These findings demonstrate the presence of polyclonal anergic B cells in the normal mice that are characterized by low-level expression of CD138, IgM downregulation, reduced Ca2+ and CD69 responses upon BCR engagement, and distinct BCR repertoire.

To perform the engagement level simulation between the underwater vehicle model and the surface model those are constituted with various systems/ sub-systems, we implemented four different federates as a federation according to the IEEE 1516 HLA (High Level Architecture) protocol that is the international standard in the distributed simulation. Those are CFCS (Command and Fire Control System) federate, motion federate, external entities (torpedos, countermeasure and surfaceship) federate, and visualization federate that interacts with OSG (Open Scene Graph)-based visualization rendering module. In this paper, we present the detailed method about the model constitution for discrete event simulation in the distributed environment. For the sake of this purpose, we introduce the DEVS (Discrete Event System Specification)-HLA-based modeling method of the CFCS federate that reflects not only the interations between models, but also commands from user and tactics manager that is separated from the model. The CFCS federate makes decisions in various missions such as the normal diving, the barrier misision, the target motion analysis, the torpedo launch, and the torpedo evasion. In the perspective of DEVS modeling, the CFCS federate is the coupled model that has the tactical data process model, command model and fire control model as an atomic model. The message passing and time synchronization with other three federates are settled by the $m\ddot{a}k$ RTI (Runtime Infrastructure) that supports IEEE 1516. In this paper, we provides the detailed modeling method of the complicated model that has hierarchical relationship such as the CFCS system in the submarine and that satisfies both of DEVS modeling method for the discrete event simulation and HLA modeling method for the distributed simulation.
Nowadays, it is common that most consumers are purchasing goods in e-stores. The e-stores eager to attract, revisit, retain, and finally convert them into loyal customers. The e-store marketers have planned and executed numerous marketing efforts. As one of the marketing activities, e-store managers attempt to build web sites that meet customers' functional and psychological needs. A wide array of studies has been done to identify factors that could affect customers' response of web sites. Majority of studies were conducted to verify technology-related and functional variables of the website which facilitate transactions and enhance customer responses such as purchase intention and website loyalty. However, there has been little research on the external cues of website and psychological variables of consumer that could have positive influences on customer response. The purpose of this study is to investigate the influence of e-store personality on e-store loyalty through mediating variables such as e-store identification, e-store trust, and e-store engagement. This model is composed of four paths such as dimensions of e-store personality${\rightarrow}$e-store identification, e-store identification${\rightarrow}$e-store loyalty, e-store identification ${\rightarrow}$e-store trust${\rightarrow}$e-store loyalty, and e-store identification${\rightarrow}$e-store engagement${\rightarrow}$e-store loyalty. II. Research Method Ladies under 30s were the respondents of this survey. Data were collected from January 20th to February 26th in 2010. A total of 200 questionnaires were distributed and 169 respondents were analysed finally to test hypotheses because 31 questionnaires had incorrect or missing responses. SPSS 12.0 and LISREL 7.0 program were used to test frequency, reliability, factor, and structural equation modeling analysis. III. Result and Conclusion According to results from factor analysis, eigen value was over 1.0 and items which were below 0.6 were deleted. Consequently, 9 factors(% of total variance is 72.011%) were searched. All Cronbach's ${\alpha}$ values are over the recommended level(${\alpha}$ > 0.7). The overall fit indices are acceptable such as ${\chi}^2$=2028.36(p=0.00), GFI=0.87, AGFI=0.82, CFI=0.81, IFI=0.92, RMR=0.075. All factor loadings were over the recommended level. As the result of discriminant validity check with chi-square difference test between paired constructs, each construct has good discriminant validity. The overall fit indices of final model are acceptable such as ${\chi}^2$=340.73(df=36, p=0.00), GFI=0.92, AGFI=0.81, CFI=0.91, IFI=0.91, RMR=0.085. As test results, 5 out of 6 hypotheses are supported because there are statistically significant casual relationships in structural equation model, shown in
. First of all, hypothesis 1 is partially supported because sub-hypothesis 1-1 and 1-2 are supported, whereas sub-hypothesis 1-3, 1-4, and 1-5 are rejected. Specifically, it reveals that warmth and sophistication dimensions in e-store personality have positive influence on e-store identification, however, activity, progressiveness, and strictness does not have any significant relationship on e-store identification. Secondly, hypothesis 2 was supported. Therefore, it can be said that e-store identification has a positive impact on e-store trust. Thirdly, hypothesis 3 is also supported. Hence, there is a positive relationship between e-store identification and e-store engagement. Fourthly, hypothesis 4 is supported too. e-store identification has a positive influence on e-store loyalty. Fifthly, hypothesis 5 is also accepted. This indicates that e-store trust is a precedent variable which positively affects e-store loyalty. Lastly, it reveals that e-store engagement has a positive impact on e-store loyalty. Therefore, hypothesis 6 is supported. The findings of the study imply that some dimensions of e-store personality have a positive influence on e-store identification, and that e-store identification has direct and indirect influence on e-store loyalty through e-store trust and e-store engagement positively. These results also suggest that the e-store identification in e-store personality is a precedent variable which positively affects e-store loyalty directly and indirectly through e-store trust and engagement as a mediating variable. Therefore, e-store marketers need to implement website strategy based on e-store personality, e-store identification, e-store trust, and e-store engagement to meet customers' psychological needs and enhance e-store loyalty. Finally, the limitations and future study directions based on this study are discussed.
This study has made an in-depth analysis of the 'Puzzle System' which is a characteristic structural unit of the Adventure Game, and concentrates on the mechanism where the experience arouses in the player a 'desire (quasi-need) to finish' that leads to one's immersion and engagement in the game. In the course of conducting this study, documentary records were consulted and also this writer personally played video games to learn the component elements and fundamental characteristics of the Adventure Games and to experience how the player was immersed in the game. Thus, the Puzzle System in the Adventure Game was defined and an analysis was made of the structure and course of play where the puzzle part and the narrative part within the system organically interacted between them in the system. In order to confirm the formation and effects of 'desire to finish' shown in the hypothetic assumptions, two experiment-purpose game units were produced, one with dramatic cut scenes and the other without them, so that differences between them could be found. I also conducted an experiment to learn the generation and effect of the 'desire to finish' of the Puzzle elements by using different games with a varying degree of difficulty.

This paper proposes a flexible and highly reusable modeling methodology for a next-generation combat entity which enables joint analysis of performance/engagement effectiveness. According to the scope of the proposed work, the paper is divided into two parts; Part 1 focuses on a conceptual model design, whereas Part 2 proposes detailed model specification and implementation. In Part 1, we, first, classify the combat entity model as combat logic and battlefield function sub-models for joint analysis. Based on the sub-models, we propose two dimensional model partition method, which creates six groups of a single combat entity model by two dimensions: three-activity and two-abstraction. This grouping enables us to reconfigure the combat entity model by sharing the same interface within the group, and the same interface becomes the fundamental basis of the flexible model composition. Furthermore, the proposed method provides a model structure that effectively reflects the real world and maximizes the multi-level reusability of a combat entity model. As a case study, we construct a model design for anti-surface ship warfare. The case study proves enhancement of model reusability in the process of scenario expansion from pattern running to wire guided torpedo operations.
This study is to find out the type of relation existed for the career compromise of university students with respect to the career related variables. For this purpose, a questionnaire survey has been implemented for 278 University students in order to measure the level of career compromise, career decision-making self-efficacy, career outcome expectations, workhope, career motivation, and occupational engagement behavior. The data analysis facilitated SPSS 22.0 to administer reliability analysis, basic statistical analysis, correlation analysis, and regression analysis. The result of this study is shown as follows. First, career decision-making self-efficacy, career outcome expectations and workhope are all shown to influence on career compromise, and the greater the relative influence of workhope. As a result of detailed look, career compromise has shown the influence, and career compromise has shown the influence, on the occupational engagement behavior. Therefore, university students in Korea confirmed that career compromise is negatively affecting career-related factors. Based on the research findings, it is meaningful to note that it is necessary to help university students effectively cope with the situation of the career compromise in a career guidance and consultation scene.
