  • 한국어 형태소 분석 및 구구조 구문 분석은 한국어 자연어처리에서 난이도가 높은 작업들로서 최근에는 해당 문제들을 출력열 생성 문제로 바꾸어 sequence-to-sequence 모델을 이용한 end-to-end 방식의 접근법들이 연구되었다. 한국어 형태소 분석 및 구구조 구문 분석을 출력열 생성 문제로 바꿀 시 해당 출력 결과는 하나의 열로서 합쳐질 수가 있다. 본 논문에서는 sequence-to-sequence 모델을 이용하여 한국어 형태소 분석 및 구구조 구문 분석을 동시에 처리하는 모델을 제안한다. 실험 결과 한국어 형태소 분석과 구구조 구문 분석을 동시에 처리할 시 형태소 분석이 구구조 구문 분석에 영향을 주는 것을 확인 하였으며, 구구조 구문 분석 또한 형태소 분석에 영향을 주어 서로 영향을 줄 수 있음을 확인하였다.

SkelGAN: A Font Image Skeletonization Method

  • In this research, we study the problem of font image skeletonization using an end-to-end deep adversarial network, in contrast with the state-of-the-art methods that use mathematical algorithms. Several studies have been concerned with skeletonization, but a few have utilized deep learning. Further, no study has considered generative models based on deep neural networks for font character skeletonization, which are more delicate than natural objects. In this work, we take a step closer to producing realistic synthesized skeletons of font characters. We consider using an end-to-end deep adversarial network, SkelGAN, for font-image skeletonization, in contrast with the state-of-the-art methods that use mathematical algorithms. The proposed skeleton generator is proved superior to all well-known mathematical skeletonization methods in terms of character structure, including delicate strokes, serifs, and even special styles. Experimental results also demonstrate the dominance of our method against the state-of-the-art supervised image-to-image translation method in font character skeletonization task.

IRSML: An intelligent routing algorithm based on machine learning in software defined wireless networking

  • In software-defined wireless networking (SDWN), the optimal routing technique is one of the effective solutions to improve its performance. This routing technique is done by many different methods, with the most common using integer linear programming problem (ILP), building optimal routing metrics. These methods often only focus on one routing objective, such as minimizing the packet blocking probability, minimizing end-to-end delay (EED), and maximizing network throughput. It is difficult to consider multiple objectives concurrently in a routing algorithm. In this paper, we investigate the application of machine learning to control routing in the SDWN. An intelligent routing algorithm is then proposed based on the machine learning to improve the network performance. The proposed algorithm can optimize multiple routing objectives. Our idea is to combine supervised learning (SL) and reinforcement learning (RL) methods to discover new routes. The SL is used to predict the performance metrics of the links, including EED quality of transmission (QoT), and packet blocking probability (PBP). The routing is done by the RL method. We use the Q-value in the fundamental equation of the RL to store the PBP, which is used for the aim of route selection. Concurrently, the learning rate coefficient is flexibly changed to determine the constraints of routing during learning. These constraints include QoT and EED. Our performance evaluations based on OMNeT++ have shown that the proposed algorithm has significantly improved the network performance in terms of the QoT, EED, packet delivery ratio, and network throughput compared with other well-known routing algorithms.

Deep Learning Based Drone Detection and Classification (딥러닝 기반 드론 검출 및 분류)

  • As commercial drones have been widely used, concerns for collision accidents with people and invading secured properties are emerging. The detection of drone is a challenging problem. The deep learning based object detection techniques for detecting drones have been applied, but limited to the specific cases such as detection of drones from bird and/or background. We have tried not only detection of drones, but classification of different drones with an end-to-end model. YOLOv2 is used as an object detection model. In order to supplement insufficient data by shooting drones, data augmentation from collected images is executed. Also transfer learning from ImageNet for YOLOv2 darknet framework is performed. The experimental results for drone detection with average IoU and recall are compared and analysed.

  • Etching Process, one of the most important process in semiconductor fabrication, has input control part of which components are pressure, gas flow, RF power and etc., and plasma gas which is complex and not exactly understood is used to etch wafer in etching chamber. So this process has not real-time feedback controller based on input-output relation, then it uses EPD(End Point Detection) signal to determine when to start or when to stop etching. Various type EPD controller control etching process using EPD signal obtained from optical intensity of etching chamber. In development EPD controller we concentrate on compensation of this signal intensity and setting the relative signal magnitude at first of etching. We compensate signal intensity using neural network learning method and set the relative signal magnitude using fuzzy inference method. Potential of this method which improves EPD system capability is proved by experiences.

  • In this paper, we propose a method to segment a plant from a plant image using U-Net. The network is an end-to-end fully convolutional network that is mainly used for image segmentation. When training the network, we used a binary image that is acquired by the manual segmentation of a plant from the background. Experimental results show that the U-Net based segmentation network can extract a plant from a digital image accurately.

End-to-end non-autoregressive fast text-to-speech (End-to-end 비자기회귀식 가속 음성합성기)

  • Autoregressive Text-to-Speech (TTS) models suffer from inference instability and slow inference speed. Inference instability occurs when a poorly predicted sample at time step t affects all the subsequent predictions. Slow inference speed arises from a model structure that forces the predicted samples from time steps 1 to t-1 to predict the sample at time step t. In this study, an end-to-end non-autoregressive fast text-to-speech model is suggested as a solution to these problems. The results of this study show that this model's Mean Opinion Score (MOS) is close to that of Tacotron 2 - WaveNet, while this model's inference speed and stability are higher than those of Tacotron 2 - WaveNet. Further, this study aims to offer insight into the improvement of non-autoregressive models.

  • 심층인공신경망을 이용한 대화 모델링 연구가 활발하게 진행되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 대화에서 발화의 감정과 화행을 분류하기 위해 멀티태스크(multitask) 학습을 이용한 End-to-End 시스템을 제안한다. 우리는 감정과 화행을 동시에 분류하는 시스템을 개발하기 위해 멀티태스크 학습을 수행한다. 또한 불균형 범주 분류를 위해 계단식분류(cascaded classification) 구조를 사용하였다. 일상대화 데이터셋을 사용하여 실험을 수행하였고 macro average precision으로 성능을 측정하여 감정 분류 60.43%, 화행 분류 74.29%를 각각 달성하였다. 이는 baseline 모델 대비 각각 29.00%, 1.54% 향상된 성능이다. 본 논문에서는 제안하는 구조를 이용하여, 발화의 감정 및 화행 분류가 End-to-End 방식으로 모델링 가능함을 보였다. 그리고, 두 분류 문제를 하나의 구조로 적절히 학습하기 위한 방법과 분류 문제에서의 범주 불균형 문제를 해결하기 위한 분류 방법을 제시하였다.

Compensation Control of Mechanical Deflection Error on SCARA Robot with Constant Pay Load Using Neural Network (일정한 가반 하중이 작용하는 스카라 로봇에 대한 신경망을 이용한 기계적 처짐 오차 보상 제어)

  • This paper presents the compensation of mechanical deflection error in SCARA robot. End of robot gripper is deflected by weight of arm and pay-load. If end of robot gripper is deflected constantly regardless of robot configuration, it is not necessary to consider above mechanical deflection error. However, deflection in end of gripper varies because that moment of each axis varies when robot moves, it affects the relative accuracy. I propose the compensation method of deflection error using neural network. FEM analysis to obtain the deflection of gripper end was carried out on various joint angle, the results is used in neural network teaming. The result by simulation showed that maximum relative accuracy reduced maximum 9.48% on a given working area.
