  • This study has been performed to consider how to support to be effectively linked hiring of skilled human resources that were discharged through actually related education programs, as demand of they are recently being increased due to the expansion of the logistics market, and effort to train them is being propelled. That is associated with the Busan region, and field of logistics service is 3PL that is seriously considered the area of professional services at the last logistics market. Through the methodology of System dynamics, this study has been modeled about dynamic mechanism considered the growth of logistics marker and relation to employment, and has been estimated about ripple effect within logistics market of major policies related with them.

외국의 농촌청소년 개발사업의 현황과 시사점 (A Study on the Rural Youth Programs of Foreign Countries)

  • The purposes of this study were to review the rural youth programs of selected foreign countries and to draw some implications to the rural youth programs in Korea. The youth development programs reviewed were 4-H Youth Development Program of U.S.A, Rural Youth Information Service of Australia, Rural Youth Job Strategy of Canada, The Urban-Rural Youth Program of U.S.A, and Expert Consultation on Extension Rural Youth Programmes and Sustainable Development of FAO. After reviewing the rural youth programs of selected foreign countries, the authors suggested the following implications for further development of rural youth programs in Korea; 1. The target group of rural youth programs should include urban youth as well as rural youth, and the programs should be focused on enlarging their awareness of the rural community and agriculture. 2. Rural youth programs should be extended beyond agricultural sectors, such as leadership, career development, leisure activity, and cultural life. 3. We should develop some programs to support academic achievement, career development, employment, cultural needs including some strategies to prevent problematic behaviors of rural youth. 4. Rural youth should be supported more opportunities to join the community life to experience and learn various life skills through active participation such as interpersonal skill, leadership skill, and problem-solving skill.

기업의 가족친화제도가 근로자의 자녀출산에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Family-Friendly Corporate Policies on Employees' Childbirths)

  • This study examines how frequently employers offer family-friendly corporate programs and how frequently employees use the programs. This study also seeks to discover whether the implementation and utilization of family-friendly corporate programs results in an increase in employees' childbirths. Data were collected from 377 married full-time employees working in private sector companies located in Seoul and GyeongGi-Do. Frequency analyses of the employees' responses showed moderate rates of implementation of family-friendly corporate programs and much lower rates of employees' utilization. The hierarchical regression analysis revealed that the implementation of family-friendly corporate programs significantly predicted employees' childbirths. However, this was ineffective, having no significant influence on employees' childbirths, when their utilization of the programs was entered into the model. Higher rates of utilization of family-friendly corporate programs predicted more childbirths after employment. This study suggests that the implementation of family-friendly corporate programs per se is not a complete solution to get employees to have more babies. Rather, what matters is the usability of those programs. Finally, the implications of the study results are discussed.

노인일자리사업에 참여한 노인의 생활만족도에 관한 연구 (Effects of Life Satisfaction of the Elderly Participating in the Senior Employment Project)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 노인일자리사업에 참여한 노인의 생활만족도에 영향을 미치는 요인을 알아보기 위해 참여노인의 자아존중감, 사회적지지, 임파워먼트 및 노인의 생활만족도 정도에 미치는 영향을 파악하고자 한다. 연구결과 자아존중감, 사회적지지, 임파워먼트는 노인일자리 사업 참여노인의 생활만족도에 유의미한 영향력이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 즉 노인일자리사업 참여노인의 자아존중감, 사회적지지, 임파워먼트가 높일수록 생활만족도가 높은 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 연구결과를 근거로 정책제언을 하면, 첫째, 자아존중감을 높일 수 있는 새로운 일자리 프로그램 개발과 보급이 필요하다. 둘째, 새로운 사회적지지망 형성과 자원 개발 연결이 필요하다. 셋째, 노인들의 일자리 욕구에 부합되는 맞춤식 일자리 제공과 같은 임파워먼트 접근이 필요하다.

청년 취업아카데미사업의 운영기관에 대한 성과지표 개발에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Development of Performance Indicator for the Operation Organization in Youth Employment Academy)

  • 청년 취업아카데미 사업은 산업계 주도로 대학 졸업예정자 및 졸업생을 대상으로 맞춤형 취업역량향상 프로그램을 지원함으로써, 산업현장에 맞는 인재를 양성하고 청년실업의 구조적 수급불일치 해소를 목적으로 한다. 본 사업의 핵심은 운영기관과 참여기업, 참여대학 및 교육생으로 이루어진 사업 네트웍의 구성에 있으며, 이 중에서 운영기관이 가장 큰 역할을 담당한다. 청년 취업아카데미 사업의 운영기관은 사업종료 후 6개월이 지난 시점에서의 최종취업률로 평가하게 되어 있으나 차년도 사업의 운영기관 선정 시 활용할, 중간평가의 의미를 가지는 운영기관 성과평가가 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 청년취업아카데미 운영기관의 성과지표 개발에 관련된 개념 및 원리를 소개하고 주요 성과지표를 제시하였다.

공학교육인증 졸업생과 비인증 졸업생의 취업률 비교 분석: 서울시립대학교 사례 (A Comparative Analysis of Employment Rate between Certified Graduates and Non-certified Graduates by the Engineering Education Accreditation at the University of Seoul)

  • This study investigated the effect of engineering education accreditation on employment rate at the University of Seoul. The graduates who had been educated in the accredited program showed higher grade point average (GPA) and higher employment rate (89.0%) than the graduates who had been educated in the program without the accreditation (70.9%). The employment rate of all graduates increased with increasing GPA, the mathematics-science-computer (MSC) credit acquired, design credit acquired, and the number of interviews with supervising professors. Theses results showed that the MSC and design subjects and the counselling are at least beneficial in getting a job for students at the University of Seoul. When GPA, design credit acquired, and the number of counselling are the same, graduates with the engineering education accreditation showed much higher employment rate than the graduates without the accreditation. These preliminary results suggest that the engineering education programs with accreditation at the University of Seoul are beneficial for students in getting a gob through motivating them to acquire more credits in design subjects, doing greater number of counselling with supervising professors, and making better academic achievement. In addition, the engineering education accreditation at the University of Seoul helped students developing their personal skills such as team workability, communication skills, and creativity via carrying out design subjects, which may affect the employment rate indirectly.

Analyzing decline in quality of life by examining employment status changes of occupationally injured workers post medical care

  • Background: This study aimed to investigate the decline in quality of life (QOL) by examining changes in the employment status of workers who had completed medical treatment after an industrial accident. Methods: This study utilized the Panel Study of Worker's Compensation Insurance cohort (published in October 2020) containing a sample survey of 3,294 occupationally injured workers who completed medical care in 2017. We divided this population into four groups according to changes in working status. A multivariate logistic regression model was utilized for evaluating QOL decline by adjusting for the basic characteristics and working environment at the time of accident. Subgroup analysis evaluated whether QOL decline differed according to disability grade and industry group. Results: The QOL decline in the "maintained employment," "employed to unemployed," "remained unemployed," and "unemployed to employed" groups were 15.3%, 28.1%, 20.2%, and 11.9%, respectively. The "maintained employment" group provided a reference. As a result of adjusting for the socioeconomic status and working environment, the odds ratios (ORs) of QOL decline for the "employed to unemployed" group and the "remained unemployed" group were 2.13 (95% confidence interval [CI], 1.51-3.01) and 1.47 (95% CI, 1.13-1.90), respectively. The "unemployed to employed" group had a non-significant OR of 0.76 (95% CI, 0.54-1.07). Conclusions: This study revealed that continuous unemployment or unstable employment negatively affected industrially injured workers' QOL. Policy researchers and relevant ministries should further develop and improve "return to work" programs that could maintain decent employment avenues within the workers' compensation system.

노인 주간보호시설의 작업치료 현황조사 (A Study of Occupational Therapy at Adult Day Care Centers)

  • Purpose : This study highlights the importance of occupational therapy at adult day care centers by examining the current state of this therapy at these centers. Methods : Data on 1,527 adult day care centers in South Korea were retrieved from a long-term care insurance site for the elderly and were statistically processed. Results : Of these centers, 1,331 (87.2 %) were cognitive activity-oriented, 37 (2.4 %) were exclusively for dementia treatment, and 159 were nonspecialized centers (10.4 %). A second finding was that 294 (19.3 %) of the centers operated occupational therapy programs. Third, only 40 occupational therapists (2.6 %) were working at one of these 1,527 care centers nationwide. Fourth, the occupational therapy programs comprised 4.91 ± 3.93 cognitive enhancement programs per center, 2.58 ± 2.26 training assistance programs per center, and other programs 2.56 ± 2.58 per center. Fifth, a regional comparison of the operation of occupational therapy programs at these centers showed a statistically significant difference in the number of programs between Seoul and other regions. Conclusion : Although most adult day care centers currently deliver cognitive enhancement programs, they show a low employment rate of occupational therapists. Therefore, additional research involving workers at adult day care centers is required to investigate perceptions and the necessity of occupational therapy.

Optimizing Employment and Learning System Using Big Data and Knowledge Management Based on Deduction Graph

  • In recent years, big data has usefully been deployed by organizations with the aim of getting a better prediction for the future. Moreover, knowledge management systems are being used by organizations to identify and create knowledge. Here, the output from analysis of big data and a knowledge management system are used to develop a new model with the goal of minimizing the cost of implementing new recognized processes including staff training, transferring and employment costs. Strategies are proposed from big data analysis and new processes are defined accordingly. The company requires various skills to execute the proposed processes. Organization's current experts and their skills are known through a pre-established knowledge management system. After a gap analysis, managers can make decisions about the expert arrangement, training programs and employment to bridge the gap and accomplish their goals. Finally, deduction graph is used to analyze the model.

고용복지플러스센터 이용 구직자를 대상으로 산업간호사가 제공한 건강상담 프로그램의 효과 (The Effects of Health Counseling Programs by Occupational Health Nurses on the Unemployed Visiting the Employment Welfare Plus Center)

  • Purpose: The present study was conducted to examine the effects of a health counseling program by occupational health nurses on the unemployed visiting the Employment Welfare Plus Center. Methods: The one-group pretest-posttest design was used. The study presented a secondary analysis of the data collected in a health counseling program run by occupational health nurses for the unemployed visiting the Employment Welfare Plus Center. Kolmogorov-Smirnov, Shapiro-Wilk test, ${\chi}^2$ test and Wilcoxon signed rank test were used to analyze 158 data collected between October 5, 2015 and January 5, 2016. Results: After the intervention, the participants showed a significant decrease in the level of stress index (uBioMacpa), stress (discomfort), musculoskeletal pain and depression. In addition, the participants showed a significant increase in self-rated general health, exercise and regular eating behavior. Conclusion: The health counseling program offered by occupational health nurses is an effective intervention to improve the physical and mental health of the unemployed individuals visiting the Employment Welfare Plus Center.
