The controllability and stability of power systems can be increased by Flexible AC Transmission Devices (FACTs). One of the FACTs devices is Interline Power-Flow Controller (IPFC) by which the voltage stability, dynamic stability and transient stability of power systems can be improved. In the present paper, the convenient operation and control of IPFC for transient stability improvement are considered. Considering that the system's Lyapunov energy function is a relevant tool to study the stability affair. IPFC energy function optimization has been used in order to access the maximum of transient stability margin. In order to control IPFC, a Brain Emotional Learning Based Intelligent Controller (BELBIC) and PI controller have been used. The utilization of the new controller is based on the emotion-processing mechanism in the brain and is essentially an action selection, which is based on sensory inputs and emotional cues. This intelligent control is based on the limbic system of the mammalian brain. Simulation confirms the ability of BELBIC controller compared with conventional PI controller. The designing results have been studied by the simulation of a single-machine system with infinite bus (SMIB) and another standard 9-buses system (Anderson and Fouad, 1977).

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify the relationship of self-differentiation, family function and mental health among adolescents. Methods: The data were collected from 967 adolescents and analyzed using descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Scheffe's test, Pearson correlation coefficient and Stepwise multiple regression with the SPSS program. Results: Mental health differed according to grades, sibling position, father's education and mother's education. Self-differentiation and family function had a significant negative correlation with mental health. Multiple regression analysis showed recognition.emotional function, emotional cutoff and family projection as influencing self-differentiation. Grades, affective responsiveness in family function, and sibling position explained 20.8% of the total variance in mental health. Conclusion: The findings show that self-differentiation and family function influence mental health, indicating a need to develop nursing intervention programs to enhance adolescents' mental health and prevent negative outcomes. For these programs, the family must be included.

In this paper, our study focuses on obtaining the differences of emotional speech in three different vocal tract sections. The vocal tract area was computed from the area function of the emotional speech. The total vocal tract was divided into 3 sections (vocal fold section, middle section and lip section) to acquire the differences in each vocal tract section of emotional speech. The experiment data include 6 emotional speeches from 3 males and 3 females. The 6 emotions consist of neutral, happiness, anger, sadness, fear and boredom. The measured difference is computed by the ratio through comparing each emotional speech with the normal speech. The experimental results present that there is not a remarkable difference at lip section, but the fear and sadness have a great change at the vocal fold part.

Purpose - This study is aiming to understand the critical role of employees' organizational citizenship behavior in evaluation of employee service quality. This paper examined what emotional intelligence and empowerment affect to their organizational citizenship behavior and service quality. Research design - Data were collected by questionnaires through specialized hospital services. Survey was conducted on patients who have been treated at a spine specialized hospital. Results - Emotional intelligence and empowerment have direct effects on organizational citizenship. Service quality is a function of organizational citizenship. The results showed that emotional and motivated capabilities of individuals influenced organizational citizenship behavior. Managerially, this study contributes to the understanding of the role of organizational citizenship behavior in service sector. Conclusions - The relationship between service quality and organizational citizenship behavior and also examined the effect of combination of creative and voluntary behavioral attributes such as emotional intelligence and psychological empowerment have on voluntary organizational citizenship behavior. The results showed that in order to induce organizational citizenship behavior, emotional intelligence should be facilitated and empowerment enlarged.

Even though gratitude is considered as an important virtue to possess for successful adulthood, little is known about what cultivates gratitude and its benefits associated with psychological well-being among adolescents. By examining gratitude as a daily mood, this study asked (1) whether adolescents' daily grateful mood varied as a function of daily parental emotional support and (2) whether adolescents' psychological well-being varied as a function of daily grateful mood within person across seven days. The sample consisted of 70 adolescents in 8th grade recruited from a public middle school. Participants completed daily diary checklists online each evening for seven days. On days when adolescents perceived greater parental emotional support from mother or father than they typically did during the week, they rated their grateful mood to be higher than other days. With more emotional support from father, adolescents reported more grateful mood not only on that day, but also the following day. While this result highlights the important role that parents play in adolescents' experience of grateful mood, emotionally supportive behaviors of fathers appear particularly promising for cultivating gratitude. Further, daily grateful mood on a given day accounted for the significant variance in adolescents' psychological well-being not only on the same day, but also the following day. Research and practical implications of the results are discussed.

Objectives : Disturbance of sleep with or without sleep apnea may impair the memory function. Sleep deficiency, sleepiness, sleep apnea and emotional problem in sleep disorders can induce an impairment of memory function. Methods : In this study, the polysomnographies were administered to 58 sleep apnea patients and 38 sleep disorder patients without sleep apnea. Their clinical symptoms were quantitatively evaluated. Short term and long term memory were evaluated before and after polysom no graphy with Digit symbol test and Rey-Osterrieth complex figure test. And correlations among various sleep, repiratory and clinical variables were statistically studied in order to explore which variables may influence on memory function. Results and Conclusions : Results are as follows. Depth of sleep cis positively correlated with memory function. As sleep apnea increases and average saturation of blood oxygen decreases, memory function is more impaired. Emotional depression, high blood pressure, obesity or alcohol impaired memory function. However, daytime sleepiness was not significantly correlated with memory function. The possible mechanisms how above factors influence on the memory function were discussed.

In this paper, we introduce the LED emotional lighting system realized with the aid of both intelligent algorithm and RGB LED combined with White LED. Generally, the illumination is known as a design factor to form the living place that affects human's emotion and action in the light- space as well as the purpose to light up the specific space. The LED emotional lighting system that can express emotional atmosphere as well as control the quantity of light is designed by using both RGB LED to form the emotional mood and W LED to get sufficient amount of light. RBFNNs is used as the intelligent algorithm and the network model designed with the aid of LED control parameters (viz. color coordinates (x and y) related to color temperature, and lux as inputs, RGBW current as output) plays an important role to build up the LED emotional lighting system for obtaining appropriate color space. Unlike conventional RBFNNs, Fuzzy C-Means(FCM) clustering method is used to obtain the fitness values of the receptive function, and the connection weights of the consequence part of networks are expressed by polynomial functions. Also, the parameters of RBFNN model are optimized by using PSO(Particle Swarm Optimization). The proposed LED emotional lighting can save the energy by using the LED light source and improve the ability to work as well as to learn by making an adequate mood under diverse surrounding conditions.

Sign-in point of interest (POI) are extremely sparse in location-based social networks, hindering recommendation systems from capturing users' deep-level preferences. To solve this problem, we propose a content-aware POI recommendation algorithm based on a convolutional neural network. First, using convolutional neural networks to process comment text information, we model location POI and user latent factors. Subsequently, the objective function is constructed by fusing users' geographical information and obtaining the emotional category information. In addition, the objective function comprises matrix decomposition and maximisation of the probability objective function. Finally, we solve the objective function efficiently. The prediction rate and F1 value on the Instagram-NewYork dataset are 78.32% and 76.37%, respectively, and those on the Instagram-Chicago dataset are 85.16% and 83.29%, respectively. Comparative experiments show that the proposed method can obtain a higher precision rate than several other newer recommended methods.

Purpose As the amount of data became enormous, it became a time when more efforts were needed to find the necessary information. Curation is a new term similarly to the museum curator, which is a service that helps people to collect, share, and value the contents of the Internet. In SNS, hash tag is used for emotional vocabulary to be transmitted between users by using (#) tag. Design/methodology/approach As the amount of data became enormous, it became a time when more efforts were needed to find the necessary information. Curation is a new term similarly to the museum curator, which is a service that helps people to collect, share, and value the contents of the Internet. In SNS, hash tag is used for emotional vocabulary to be transmitted between users by using (#) tag. Findings This study base on seven emotional sets such as 'Happy', 'Angry', 'Sad', 'Bad', 'Fearful', 'Surprised', 'Disgusted' to construct 327 emotional seeds and utilize the autofill function of web browser to collect 1.5 million emotional words from emotional seeds. The emotional dictionary of this study is considered to be meaningful as a tool to make emotional judgment from unstructured data.

'Emotional Design' is appeared recently as one of the important issues in design field. Emotional Design is understanded from a interactive point of view, human and interior space. Child's formation of character grows in human, environment, space all. At all, growth process itself who develop infant's formation of character can speak that have function of emotional communication. Therefore, this study wishes to recognize how element of emotional design was reflected through analysis of children's hospital considering child's emotion reacting most sensitively about effect of surrounding environment. As result, Various sensitivity element through senses that can rouse interest in more child's emotion in children's hospital design is mayhave to reflected.
