  • More accurate and fast inspection method for mechanical parts and structure is required to guarantee the safety. Conventional methods using compliance method, eddy current method, ultrasonic wave, acoustic emission for non-destructive testing in mechanical parts and structure have been performed as the method of contact with objects to be inspected. With this reason these methods have been taken relatively much time, money, and manpower. In this study, in order to overcome these shortcomings, we used In-plane Electronic Speckle pattern Interferometry(In-plane ESPI) that was full-field measurement and noncontact method. We detected the cracks of the specimen at a real time and measured the length of the crack by using In-place ESPI system. Finally, we compared this results with conventional microscope method.

  • Most of the previous researches for the electronic cash system guarantee unconditional untraceability for the purpose of individual privacy. Such untraceable electronic cash system that only focuses on untraceability, however, has side effect such as money laundering, criminal activities. We present a escrow cash model using anonymous channel that supports not only untaceability but also crime prevention, and prove the efficiency of our scheme relative to previous escrow cash systems.

  • As the world-wide use of the Internet increases rapidly due to development of computer network the Electronic Commerce for business by treating it is growing as compared to the traditional one for the information exchange in the academic and research areas. The Electronic Payment System used for EC includes the Payment Broker System and the Electronic Purse System. And usually Electronic Purse System operates with IC cards. Saving the money in IC card has a high portability and security. Therefore, the Electronic purse System based on IC card is recently issued in the EC. In this paper, we design and implement of a IC card security system for Common Electronic Purse Specifications in Internet. CEPS is a Electronic Purse System proposed VISA, and conform EMV(Europay Mastercard VISA) security structure. With our system, users easily use Electronic Purse System with only Web browser and IC card. Original EMV paid no regard to using in the Internet. But our system, conforming to CEPS and EMV, is easily used in the Internet.

  • Most university libraries in Korea have expanded the subscription of high-quality electronic resources in their amount and category, which are directly available to academic and research users via the web. Despite more than a decade's history, however, a lack of statistics made it difficult to get the overall pictures of electronic resources subscription status in Korea. The purpose of this study is to provide the analysis on nationwide statistics survey of how much money are spent on electronic resources, what kinds of subject resources are mainly subscribed, and how they are used and required by academic users, etc. Some comparisons are made with several factors that have effect on collection development of university libraries. This study will contribute to the future selection and subscription of electronic resources.

  • Recently, various prototypes for electronic commerce are realized and its related researches are active under the present condition which it is increasing for the reality of its extended applications. First of all, actual demands are increasing for more secure and efficient electronic payment systems. Electronic cash, one of the Electronic payment systems, must have several properties like real money. Blind signature scheme by D. Chaum stands for the methods of obtaining privacy. In this paper, we propose a method for obtaining the blind signature based on the Elliptic Curve Cryptosystems, where the crytosystems are known as solving some problems of conventional crytosystems in views of computation time and key space. Also, we present a method for the divisibility of the electronic cash using our proposal by re-signing spare cash. Thus applying the proposed method, we can develop an efficient electronic payment systems.

  • This paper proposes Electronic Credit Card(EMV) processing procedures for a credit payment method which can be applied to Korean ETCS(Electrical Toll Collection System). In Korea, Korea Highway Corporation services contactless ETCS's called by Hi-Pass and Touch-Pass system at present. These systems operate on a pre-paid payment method similar to electronic money. On the other side, a credit payment method based on credit card has an advantage which does not require pre-paid. The introduction of credit payment method to ETCS is in preparation. In this paper, we propose EMV processing methods based on a credit payment method which can be applied on ETCS.

  • The main purpose of this study is to analyse what are the key financial innovations in the euro area electronic payment systems. TARGET2 is the RTGS-system provided through the Eurosystem. It is used for settling central bank operations, for large interbank transfers in euro and also for other euro-denominated transfers. The specific features of TARGET2 include processing in real time, settlement in central bank money and immediate finality. In addition, the SEPA is a payment-integration initiative of the European Union for simplification of bank transfers denominated in euro. In particular, the main innovations consist of the completion of the phased migration to the TARGET2 infrastructure, and the introduction of a single retail payment market in euro - the SEPA and its products, schemes and frameworks. As the study analyse, the key innovations consist of the TARGET2 introduction, SEPA establishment and migration towards the T2S system. These innovations will lead to a better understanding of the payment and settlement systems' behavior in stress situations and to enhance the stability of the euro area financial system. Moreover, the successful integration of the European payment and settlement infrastructures will further contribute to the integration of the European financial markets, as well as to their higher competitiveness.

  • In order to operate Internet Banking, there is a important thing to precede, That is to carry out a scheme of one-stop to let clients transact anything they want to buy and establish the preservation of public security system between existing banking networks. (of course, that should be designed handily to the clients). In this paper, the protocol which is determined between banking network and Internet to maintain the preservation of public security. In other words, each XPM(X.25 Packet Manager) is a program to manage both system security and service at each other side; manage all packets which are connected by X.25 protocol. If other condition like law and institution is improved, it will be adopted to real operation with various service. Further more, we tan construct Electronic Commerce and adopt various digital money like electronic coin or check.

  • As the Internet continues to have the commercial trade changed, the method of payment is one of critical components to conduct successful businesses through the internet. An electronic cash has all of the characteristics of a traditional commodity cash and ensures the security for all transactions. Accordingly an internet billing system based on the electronic cash is expected as the secure and efficient payment method for the future electronic commerces. The digital contents such as digital merchandise and services have the characteristic that both the delivery of merchandise and the payment of money can be accomplished on the same network and are helpful to idealize the design of the electronic commerce system. In this paper, Anonymity got to be possible by using a virtual ID in the process of payment, the payment steps were decreased by being processed on the same network, and the efficiency and the security were guaranteed by decreasing the frequency of the coding and communication.

  • This study examined the experiences of users regarding their use of electronic informed consent in hospital. A qualitative descriptive study was conducted using focus groups and in-depth interviews with 30 Korean nurses and 27 patients. Data were collected from one university hospital. The responses were analyzed by qualitative content analysis. Most participants perceived the use of electronic informed consent as convenient and straightforward, as well as saving space and money. On the other hand, the participants stated that the system was unsatisfactory in part because of the occasional unexpected machinery error or malfunction. Some patients wished for function improvements related to the e-signature, making it more comparable to a handwritten signature, and the adjustability of the font size. The nurses wanted a wider implementation of electronic informed consent because it was not being used for all informed consent cases, resulting in confusion and an additional workload. For the use of an electronic informed consent system, it is important to minimize the inconvenience and to maximize the satisfaction of the users, including nurses and patients.
