B2B e-Marketplace의 성과측정지표 개발에 관한 연구 -재무적 성과 및 지식자산 성과관점에서- (Development of Balanced Performance Measurement Index for B2B e-Marketplace)

  • This paper defines measurement index items and weight of the index for the purpose of developing a performance measurement index that balancedly measures performance of B2B electronic commerce. The deductive research is used for the development of measurement index items and Analytic Hierarchy Process(AHP) method for the development of weight of the index. This paper has four performance measurement perspectives-finance, partners, business process and human resources, which based the existing researches of balanced performance measurement. This researchers developed eleven second level criteria and twenty-six indexes under four perspectives through the deductive method and expert interviews, weighted on the perspectives, criteria and indexes in accordance with the forms of e-marketplace-vertical and horizontal. As a result, the most important indexes are the maintenance of partners and the efficiency of operation process in the vertical e-marketplace. In the horizontal e-marketplace, the collection of partners, development and prediction processes are more important than other indexes.

  • 최근 들어 전자상거래의 개념이 기업뿐만 아니라 모든 유형의 조직체로 확산되어 가면서 전통적인 업무처리방식에서 전자적 업무 처리를 향한 변화를 통해 기업이나 조직체는 새로운 가치를 창출하면서 시장을 확대하는 기회로 이용하고 있다. 본 논문은 이러한 전자상거래의 개념을 디지털 도서관에 적용하여 도서관과 비즈니스 패러다임의 변화에 대한 이해를 바탕으로 도서관 업무와 전자상거래가 연계되는 몇 가지 모델을 제안하였다. 그리고 이중 전자상거래 개념을 자료 구입 과정에 적용시킴으로써 자료 구입 과정에 참여하는 모든 기관을 하나의 마켓플레이스로 통합하고 거래 행위가 이루어지도록 하는 eMarketplace를 구축 논리모델을 상세히 제시하였다.

  • e-Marketplace는 B2B 거래의 한 종류로서 인터넷상에서 불특정 다수의 공급자와 수요자(N:N)간 비즈니스 거래를 유발시켜 주는 가상의 시장인데 전세계적으로 특정 산업에 한정된 수직적인 e-Marketplace와 특정 산업과 관계없는 수평적인 e-Marketplace형태로 발전되고 있다. e-marketplace는 구매자와 판매자에게 제공하는 이점들 때문에 놀라운 속도로 증가하고 있다. 구매자입장에 e-marketplace는 새로운 공급업체를 물색하는 과정에서 들어가는 구매비용을 낮출 수 있다. 공급업체의 경우 e-Marketplace는 판매비용을 낮추고 새로운 고객에게 물품을 납품할 수 있는 기회를 제공한다. 이에 e-marketplace 기업들도 분명한 비즈니스모델로서 경쟁력 있는 업체만이 생존할 것이다. 이러한 생존에서 살아남기 위해서는 치열한 경쟁을 이겨내야 한다. 이에 대한 구매자와 판매자의 역할이 무엇인지를 살펴 보는 것이 본 연구의 목적이다.

  • Lack of trust is major reason for many company to take a cautions stance towards business-to-business electronic commerce. Especially innovative business models such as online business-to-business marketplaces face the lack of not only having to give their members and partners faith own capabilities and reliability, but also to ensure that the respective parties interacting through them have trust in each other. This paper is empirical study on the trust factors affecting the repurchase intentions in a B2B e-Marketplace by survey instrument based on Likert-style 5 point measurement scale. The objective of this paper is evaluation of relationship between repurchase intentions and trust. The focus of this paper is the antecedents and consequences of buyer trust in a B2B e-Marketplace, not trust intermediaries or in third parties that might mediate between the buyer and e-Marketplace. The findings of this study are expected to increase the awareness of B2B e-Commerce adopter and implementers about the importance of trust in e-commerce participation.

  • As the interest in the business-to-business electronic commerce is increasing, many companies are participating in the business-to-business e-marketplaces. As a result, it is important to develop understanding of behaviors of firms that use these e-marketplaces. For this purpose, e-marketplace usage company trust is proposed to affect commitment, long-term orientation and cooperation. This study, which used data from participating in the business-to-business e-marketplace companies, showed acceptable data-fit of proposed model and supported all of research hypotheses. The empirical results indicated that trust take significant effect on commitment, long-term orientation and cooperation, and the commitment affect long-term orientation and cooperation, and the commitment in turn have strong influence on long-term orientation and cooperation. It was confirmed that commitment variable is effective mediator linking trust and long-term orientation and cooperation.

The Relationship between MRO E-Commerce System and Purchase Effects

  • Business corporations have become specialized and on the basis of various interests try to strengthen their competitiveness through a cooperative system of purchase, distribution, service and IT technology. And an advanced Internet-based electronic commerce has witnessed explosive growth and a business-to-business (B2B) electronic commerce. Through E-marketplace. business corporations achieve such diverse utilities as expenditure curtailment, process reduction and prime cost reduction. And with business depression worldwide and soaring prices of materials, many business corporations consider the introduction of comprehensive purchase of MRO (maintenance, repair and operation) materials. The Purpose of this study was to examine the definition of B2B E-marketplace and the utilities of MRO commerce correctly focusing on an empirical analysis of cases of MRO supply and purchase business corporations. The indications acquired from this research results are as follows. Firstly, as for MRO integrated purchase under the characteristics of the market environment, it had to use the supplier obligatorily through the integrated purchase on the level of CEO's decision-making or the group rather than the voluntary will of the purchasing department or the procurement department. Secondly, as for the present B2B E-marketplace MRO purchase, the purchasing agency business has formed the mainstream, but it is aiming at the diversification of the benefit by supplementing/correcting the business model such as category type, mediation business type, MRO-type advancing in the store inclusive of the purchasing agency business, keeping pace with the potential market of MRO. Thirdly, as for analysis of the products, the purchaser wants more various products and assortment of goods than those of the present time, and also to be provided with the precise product information. Especially, as the importance of the product sourcing becomes high, the whole energy has been bestowed on acquirement of the excellent suppliers. Fourth, as for use of B2B E-marketplace MRO integrated purchasing system, there are the purchasing companies complaining the inconvenience even until now, and there is the demerit spending the long time during the image move and the process treatment. It shall try to shorten the searching time and the process treatment time as the system is centered on the purchaser. In order to enhance the efficiency of MRO E-marketplace purchase, followings must be considered: First, because the importance of product sources ever increases, an excellent supplier must be secured earnestly. Second, the time of process must be reduced focusing on purchasers. B2B E-marketplace will increase and diversify electronic commerce continuously. Through MRO E-marketplace, business corporations will reduce expenditure, achieve a transparent and speedy trade, and purchase products of fine quality, thus establishing a most effective market. In addition, in this study the investigator brings focus into MRO which has not been clearly discussed in the academic and business world so far and intensively highlights an indirect material-oriented expenditure curtailment effect. By taking all the aspects of supplier, purchaser and practical economical value into account, the investigator presents a strategic direction for the successful comprehensive purchase of B2B MRO.

  • 수직적 e-Marketplace는 대기업의 자금력과 구매력에 힘입어 많은 발전이 있었지만 수평적 e-Market place는 활성화 되고 있지 못한 형편이다. 특히, 라이프 사이클이 짧은 다품종 소량의 부품을 취급하는 전자부품 e-Marketplace에서는 하나의 입점 업체가 특정부품을 대량으로 보유할 경우, 불용재고가 많아져 입점업체의 경쟁력을 저하시키는 요인이 된다. 따라서, 본 논문에서는 전자부품 e-Marketplace의 경쟁력을 향상시키기 위한 방법으로 기업간 재고 공유방법을 제안하고, 그 방법을 설계한 후 구현하였다. 대부분의 업체는 서로 다른 DBMS를 사용하고 있어 재고 공유를 위해 중간매체가 필요한데 본 논문에서는 시스템 간에 재고 공유 기능을 제공하기 위해 데이터 교류에 표준이 되고 있는 XML을 이용하여 구현하고 구현 예를 통하여 재고공유기능을 보였다.

B2B 중개기업의 성과 저해요인에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Critical Failure Factors against B2B e-Marketplace Performance)

  • Many buying and selling companies have participated in B2B electronic commerce in order to boost sales and cut down purchase prices respectively. There are some studies on buying and selling companies performances of using B2B e-marketplaces which provide electronic B2B transaction services such as finding transaction partners, providing on-line transaction process like auctioneering, etc. This study investigates the critical failure factors against B2B e-marketplace in other words B2B market-maker or B2B intermediary. We proposed 4 hypotheses asserting that 4 critical failure factors make reverse effects on B2B intermediary performances. We adopt the Balanced Score Card (BSC) framework to evaluate B2B intermediary performance. Data were collected from 46 respondents of B2B intermediaries in Korea. Analyses showed that traditional off-line B2B practices like refunding to buyer or transactions without legal documents and low quality of product information and catalog are critical failure factors against B2B intermediary performance.

The roles of electronic marketplace for buyer-supplier relationship: collaborative system architecture

  • As the most widely used media of BtoB e-business, the e-Marketplace (EM) can play an important role in the age of c-commerce (collaborative commerce). In supply chain management (SCM) area, the relationship-based collaboration among partners has shown great efficiency. Although the collaboration is important in both areas of EM and SCM there has been a critical difference in the selection of trade partners between them. In this paper, the EM's collaborative stages for integration with its customer system are reviewed and a system architecture is proposed for EM's electronic functional role within the perspective of collaborative commerce and buyer-supplier relationship. The relationship-based BtoB commerce through EM is reviewed to explain that it can be more beneficial than the commerce based on the price competitive selection of trade partners. With the proposed system architecture, an EM can be the functional medium for the collaborative IOIS system architecture.

  • SCM(Supply Chain Management) have been introduced in many companies for integrated management and improvement of business process. Recently, as internet and e-business concept are spread globally, the SCM concept is expanded from one internal company process to inter-company process, it makes a Global SCM concept. In this paper, we discuss the implementation of the Global SCM concept using e-business infrastructure, and propose SCM portal models. Four types of the SCM portal model are discussed, which are forecasting information sharing model, e-Marketplace-typed model, collaboration model and logistics information sharing model. The major concept of the SCM portal is to share information of supply chain process, it provide merits of scale to company. The result of this paper can be summarized as follows : First, the information sharing is very useful in the Global SCM. Second, the e-business infrastructure, especially e-Marketplace can be usefully used for implementation of SCM portal. Third, the M2M(Market to Market) function of e-Marketplace is a major function for implementing SCM portal.
