  • Internet is now changing the paradigms of traditional commercial activities. As more and more companies are actively involved in electronic commerce using Internet, it is becoming more imperative to understand the customers' perception of electronic commerce to foster healthy growth of Internet electronic commerce. However, research on customer satisfaction in electronic commerce has been scarce. This research investigates the factors affecting customer perception of electronic commerce and suggests the models and the results of the empirical study.

  • This research can be summarized as follows: a. It provides the means how to manage risks in the electronic commerce with a focus on the insurance by which to transfer the risks to the third person. b. Since there are few preceding studies on the insurance of electronic commerce, further studies on the insurance stipulations about coverage and exclusions are needed. c. The risks in the electronic commerce are critical to the businessmen and the insurance can protect them from the perils and activate the electronic commerce. d. Inter-governmental and inter-organizational cooperations are needed to enact the unified international insurance clause. Researches on the electronic insurance should be vitalized for more objective analysis. A positive study needs a close survey on the individual and the business concerned, the insurance company, and the policy authorities, which will make it possible to adjust the coverage and exclusion and assess an optimum insurance rate.

  • China draws lots of attention from many multinational corporations all over the world as one of the biggest market in the world. Due to the huge territory and explosive population, it is considered that China has endless potentiality. Moreover, since China joined the WTO, China opens its market, developing the policies for opening of its market. Based on the enormous purchasing power, China gets another attention in industry of electronic commerce. With the development and expansion of information technologies, China's electronic commerce has rapidly developed. Since the market of electronic commerce in China is in the developing stage, there is still a big market for electronic commerce and also Chinese government has made much effort in order to develop the industry of electronic commerce. However, in spite of these circumstances, the Chinese electronic commerce industry is far behind the developed countries. There could be many reasons for slow development in industry of electronic commerce and the main purpose of this paper is to discuss these reasons. First of all, the current status of electronic commerce industry in China will be analysed, and then, main problems of electronic commerce industry will be discussed in order to find out the reasons why the industry of electronic commerce cannot develop as much as it is anticipated. It is expected that this paper can contribute to understanding electronic commerce industry in China, and it will be helpful for companies which have a plan to extend their businesses in China.

  • As electronic commerce under the digital economy environment evolves rapidly affecting the structure of our economy and individual life styles, the need for metrics system to evaluate the performance of electronic commerce activities remarkably increases. Reviewing the characteristics of electronic commerce and some issues related to its measurement, this paper proposes a framework to measure the performance of electronic commerce business activities. the proposed framework customizes the balanced scorecard method for electronic commerce practices and can be applied effectively to electronic commerce businesses as an appropriate measure.

  • According to development of electronic commerce, the university's curriculums related electronic commerce should be renewed and added some chapters. I researched on university curriculums of electronic commerce, which has required by enterprise. In particular, the electronic commerce consist of two parts; IT technology and business management. Therefore it is regarded as a convergence subject. I did a correlation analysis between management's performance of enterprise and importance of university curriculum on electronic commerce. The questionnaire includes demands of enterprise and e-business model on electronic commerce. The result of this research indicates a necessary of changing by correlation ratio. Based on this research result, I suggest extended curriculums for electronic commerce.

  • Research relevant to the electronic commerce tends to either overestimate or underrate the role of Information and Communication Technology (lCT). There is both technological skepticism within the social science circles and technical optimism within the engineering and computing field. Each perspective seems to have a limitation in adequately explaining the phenomenon of electronic commerce diffusion. Therefore, this research attempts to explore major characteristics of Web-based shopping systems as enablers of new business, concerning both the technical and business aspects in contemporary electronic commerce settings. On this basis, this paper addresses a configuration model of WBSS on the harmonious perspective concerning both the technical and business issues. It is our hope that both technical perspective and business perspective for exploring WBSS's configuration model presented in this paper can be an initial step towards a more balanced debate of ICT role, for electronic commerce.

  • EJB(Enterprise JavaBeans)는 서버 상의 Java 컴포넌트와 그 컴포넌트를 위한 동작 환경을 제공하는 전체 프레임웍(Framework)이다. EJB 에서 동작하는 컴포넌트를 엔터프라이즈 빈(Enterprise Bean)이라고 하고, 그 컴포넌트가 동작하기 위한 환경을 컨테이너(Container)라 한다 EJB 에서는 기존에 개발자가 직접 컴포넌트로 제공해 주어야 하는 트랜잭션, 영속성, 보안문제, 데이터베이스 연결 풀링, 쓰레딩 관리 같은 기능을 컨테이너에서 처리해 줌으로 일반 개발자는 복잡한 하부 로직에 신경쓰지 않으면서 더 쉽고 빠르게 동일한 기능을 구현할 수 있게 된다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 EJB 컨테이너를 설계함에 있어서 하나의 중요한 요소인 트랜잭션 관리에 관한 설계를 논한다.

  • EJB 는 분산 트랜잭션 기반의 엔터프라이즈 어플리케이션을 위한 컴포넌트 컴퓨팅을 위한 아키텍처이다. EJB 는 J2EE 플랫폼을 위한 서버 측 컴포넌트 아키텍처이며, J2EE 플랫폼의 재사용 가능하고 J2EE 기술 중에서 다중 플랫폼 또는 다중 서버에 이식 가능한 비즈니스 로직을 표현하는 코어 기술이다. EJB 기술을 사용하게 되면 응용 로직 개발자들은 시스템 영역의 서비스들 즉, 트랜잭션, 보안, 생명주기, 쓰레딩, 영속성_등의 기능을 직접 구현하지 않고 손쉽게 응용 로직을 개발할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 J2EE 의 핵심 서버인 EJB 서버 시스템의 설계 사상과 네이밍 및 디렉토리 관리 모듈에 대한 구체적인 설계 방안을 제시한다.

  • Since digital economy and electronic commerce are evolving rapidly. further shaping process of e-commerce over the Internet would be highly influenced by the impact of electronic commerce technologies. That is. the widespread application of electronic commerce technologies is remoulding classic business patterns and enabling organizations to deal with new ways of doing business with global suppliers. distributors, marketers and consumers. The objective of this study is to examine the scheme of electronic commerce technologies. analyzing the current state and what is expected of them In the future. However, it is difficult to clarify relationships with the every electronic commerce technology and to analyze the progress of each of them. This study focuses on the major electronic commerce application technologies relevant to e-business. In order to analyze the current state of electronic commerce technologies and relationships among them. this study has tried to gather experts' opinions using the Delphi method. For each major EC technology, this study has analyzed the current level. the technology scheme. the applicability, the economic influences of the EC technologies and the urgency of the technology development. This study will play a role of catalyser for the study of electronic commerce technologies and will provide guideline for future studies electronic commerce and information communication technology(ICT) diffusion.

  • Electronic commerce facilitates trade and lower transaction cost can help firms make use of the opportunities of globalization of production and markets. Electronic commerce has broad implications for future trade. These implications include the effect on trade policy making and enforcement. And it is important to ensure that the present and future trading system de jure and de facto allows electronic commerce to realize its potentials as an alternative or a complement to conventional trade. The comprehensive work program had been implemented to examine all trade-related issues relating to global electronic commerce before the Seattle 3rd Ministerial Conference which was suspended. In general, Member countries recognized the need to ensure that electronic commerce in all its forms is conducted in full conformity with WTO principles and rules. But, there are still major issues to be solved such as access to relevant electronic systems, competition policy in telecomnunications services, WTO provisions relating to the protection of IPRs, the clarification of a number of key concepts and definitions, etc.
