전기철도 부하특성 분석 및 데이터베이스 구축 (A study on the electric railway load pattern analysis and building database program)

  • At present, In korea one of big characteristics in electricity power market is unique seller but in the near future competitions are expected in the market. Another big trend is development of IT technology. Through IT, remote inspection for power usage are possible. So huge power consumer like KORAIL it is necessary to investigate power consumption pattern. This paper presents load consumption pattern for representative substation and billing system database program. Base on the substation annual power usage data, the characteristic of the substation power consumption are investigated and effective electrical billing system are compared each other. The database program was properly designed to examine the billings.

도시철도 변전소 단위구간의 전력사용 실태 및 피크제어용 BESS 도입에 따른 경제성 분석 (A Study on Comparative Analysis of Power Consumption Characteristics and the revulsion of investment on the application of a BESS in Subway Substation)

  • This paper shows a reasonable demand power, that was made by the systematic and statistical way considering actual conditions, such as investigated transformer capacity and peak power for the last 6 years of subway substation customer as to AMR. In this dissertation, it is necessary to analyze the key features and general trend from the investigated data. It made an analysis of the feature parameters, such as average, standard deviation, median, maximum, minimum and thus it was carried by the linear and nonlinear regression analysis. And we studied on the application of a BESS. Analysis showed that the revulsion of capital is about 3 years and 4 months.

  • 터널식 전력구는 지중으로 전력을 공급하기 위한 구조물 중 하나이며, 도심지 및 해저구간을 통과하는 구간에 쉴드TBM 공법을 활용하여 안정적으로 건설을 추진한다. 전력구 건설의 경우에는 수직구 심도가 깊어 주로 암반지반을 굴착하며, 암반대상 밀폐형 쉴드TBM 선정에 대한 고찰이 필요하였다. 또한, 지반조사 보고서 결과를 바탕으로 범용적이고, 간단한 설계방법이 필요하였다. 이에 실대형 굴진시험, 누적 굴진데이터, 수치해석을 종합하여 쉴드TBM 설계방법과 관련 프로그램을 개발하였다. 프로그램 결과에 대해 검증을 수행하고자 준공된 전력구 1개 현장의 굴진데이터를 활용하였다. 굴진데이터의 모집단을 추정하기 위해 커널밀도추정 방법을 도입하여 추력, 토크, 동력의 기본사양에 대해 검증을 완료하였다. 본 연구결과를 통해 쉴드TBM 설계업무 전문성 강화 및 안정적 전력공급의 사용자 편익증대를 기대할 수 있다.

주변압기실의 소음저감 및 소음기 개발에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Development of a Silencer and Noise Reduce for M.Tr Room)

  • 도심지 주택밀집지역에 설치운전중인 옥내변전소 주변압기실에서 발생되고 있는 소음은 변압기 전원주파수 2배 성분을 기저 주파수로 하는 하모닉 성분의 소음을 발생시킨다. 이로 인하여 변전소 인근주민들의 변압기 소음으로 인한 민원이 발생하고 있으며 변전소의 신설이나 기존변전소의 변압기 증설 등으로 민원발생은 점차 증가될 추세에 있다. 본 연구에서는 주변압기실에서 공기풍도나 셔터를 투과하여 실외로 전달되는 소음을 효과적으로 저감시키는 방법론에 대해 고찰하였으며 주변압기실 셔터부분에는 흡/차음셔터를, 지하 공기풍도에는 변압기 소음주파수에 맞는 공명기를 적용하는 방법을 현장에 시범 적용하여 그 효과를 입증하였다.

도시철도 부하특성을 고려한 ESS의 최적 운영방안 연구 (Study on the Optimal Operation of ESS Considering Urban Railway Load Characteristic)

  • This paper proposes the optimal operation of ESS (Energy Storage System) in the substation of urban railway in an economical point of view. Since the load patterns of urban railway have different characteristics with the general power demand pattern, the characteristics motivate us to develop the optimal operation algorithm for ESS under Korean electricity billing system. We also introduce two different ESS operation strategies for peak load shaving and electricity consumption charge minimization respectively, and formulate each scheme. Historical data from Namgwangju substation are used for economical comparison of the strategies. The results show that the proposed algorithm is the most cost-effective ESS operation scheme among the strategies and reduces around 5 percent of electric charges compared to the charge without ESS operation.

철도 부하의 이동성을 반영한 변전소 정태부하모델링 수립에 대한 연구 (A Study on a Substation Static Load Model Including the Mobility of a Railway Load)

  • Nowadays, it is expected that mobility loads such as electric railways and electric vehicles will be penetrated gradually and affect on the power system stability by their load characteristics. Various researches have been carried out about electric vehicles for the recent decade though the load of electric railway could be forecasted because of the specified path and timetable, is a field with a long historic background. Some precise 5th polynomial equations are required to analyze the power system stability considering mobility load to be increased in the immediate future while the electric railway dispatching simulator uses load models with constant power and constant impedance for the system analysis. In this paper, seasonal urban railway load models are established as the form of 5th polynomial equations and substation load modeling methods are proposed merging railway station load models and general load models. Additionally, load management effects by the load modeling are confirmed through the case studies, in which seasonal load models are developed for Seoul Subway Line No. 2, Gyeongui Line and Airport Railroad and the substation load change is analyzed according to the railway load change.

해상풍력발전단지의 전력망과 해상변전소 위치에 대한 최적 설계 (Optimal Design of Power Grid and Location of Offshore Substation for Offshore Wind Power Plant)

  • This paper presents the methodology for optimal design of power grid for offshore wind power plant (OWPP) and optimum location of offshore substation. The proposed optimization process is based on a genetic algorithm, where the objective cost model is composed of investment, power loss, repair, and reliability cost using the net present value during the whole OWPP life cycle. A probability wind power output is modeled to reflect the characteristics of a wind power plant that produces electricity through wind and to calculate the reliability cost called expected energy not supplied. The main objective is to find the minimum cost for grid connection topology by submarine cables which cannot cross each other. Cable crossing was set as a constraint in the optimization algorithm of grid topology of the wind power plant. On the basis of this method, a case study is conducted to validate the model by simulating a 100-MW OWF.

  • The power consumption pattern of high-speed railway has rarely during night time. But, during service time, the power is consumed irregularly related to train operation. Especially certain unusual about 1-2 days of service time interval to indicate the power consumption is rapidly growing phenomenon, which causes the capacity of the power contract is the annual electricity bill to rise rapidly as the cause. Normally, amount of peak power consumption bill rate at railway substation is over 20% of total electrical bill. Therefore, high-speed railway substation is expected to be considerably larger savings by reducing the peak power of the default charge(demand power).

  • AC substation of urban transit supplies a suitable AC power on electricity vehicles. AC substation is verified electrical safety of system through pre-operation inspection on electrical installations to be supplied power from KEPCO. However, because test items and method for AC traction system are unprepared on pre-operation inspection, the general safety and performance verification of AC traction system are very insufficient. Therefore this paper analyze the test examples such as factory equipment tests, factory combined tests and railway tests for the safety and performance verification of AC traction system and present a suitable test items and test standard in domestic.

  • In recent years wind turbine technology has undergone the rapid development in response to the demands for increased use of renewable sources of energy. Using wind turbines for production of electrical energy requires reliable operation. The increased share of wind power in electrical system makes it necessary to have grid-friendly interfaces between the wind turbines and the grid in order to maintain power quality. Increasingly wind turbines are being connected into electricity distribution system. The grid-connected wind power stations have many impacts on power systems such as voltage variations, harmonics. The paper investigates the influences of grid-connected wind power generation system on substation bus voltage.
