Application Method Analysis at Voltage Drop Calculations on Low Voltage Feeder by IEC Standard (국제 표준에 따른 저압간선 전압강하 계산시 적용 방법 고찰)

  • A conductor has been produced according to IEC standard and low voltage electrical facility has been installed according to IEC 60364. But because of many related and varied standards, it is difficult to apply to design and inspect for electrical equipment. We researched the necessity of design guide which is detailed and systematization from survey. For detailed design guide, we suggest application method and review items at calculations for voltage drop calculations on low voltage feeder by IEC 60364, BS 7671 standard and Consumer's Electrical Installation Guide.

  • Permanent magnet DC motor is widely used in electrical tools, automotive manufacturing systems, electric vehicles, OA system drives, aircrafts and home appliances PM motors are suited for such an application, since they can be designed for high torque-to-speed ratio and efficiency. This paper deals with permanent magnet DC motor which is used in an electrical wheelchair. The motor has 6 PMs and 25 slots, and is coupled to the wheel with gears. In this study, motor design was carried out using finite element method. This paper discusses the design and construction of the prototype system and reports experimental results achieved from laboratory tests.

  • Into investment expense that wind generation system that is one of clean energy is less than existent energy in narrow shipfitter maximum effect to source of energy that have Eoteulsu evaluate. There is shortcoming that Blade structure of existent aerogenerator faces at problem of safety accident in overpopulated area and noise and have additional expense of supply of electric power equipment. In this paper, We wish to supplement problem that is such through design of special Blade structure that have noise reduction and stability. Wish to achieve design and simulation of blade to use CATIA for this, and analyze adaptedness of system.

  • An energy recovery sustaining driver with zero current switching to reduce switching losses and EMI is presented in this paper. The driver with designed snubber circuits reduces ringing voltage significantly on PDP so that the voltage rating of MOSFETs can be lower as well to reduce the cost of switches.

  • In case of the synchronous reluctance motor, the torque is proportional to silency difference and the power factor is in proportion to silency ratio. This paper presents the rotor design variable that has a effect on silency difference and silency ratio for getting a maximum torque and a power factor in the synchronous reluctance motor. To carry through the object, a number of the analysis model is reduced by DOE (Design of Experiments) and the main effects are found by the FEM (Finite Element Analysis).

  • Cogging torque is produced in a permanent magnet machine by the magnetic attraction between the rotor-mounted permanent magnets and the stator. It is an undesired effect that contributes to the machines' output ripple, vibration, and noise. This paper presents the stator design for reducing cogging torque in the BLDC motor by using the DOE(Design of Experiments). The cogging torque is computed by using a two-dimensional finite element analysis.

  • Based on classical Berotti discrete iron loss calculation model, the iron loss analysis mathematical model of alternator was proposed in this paper. Considering characteristics of high speed and changing frequency of the alternator, Maxwell 3-D model was built to analyze iron loss corresponding to each running speed in alternator. Based on iron loss model of alternator at rated speed, the rotor claw pole size was made an optimization design. The optimization results showed that alternator's output performance had been improved. A new idea was explored in size optimization design of claw pole alternator.

  • QFT(Quantitative feedback theory) is a design method to synthesize robust controller, satisfying some design specifications. Loop shaping is regarded as one of the important steps in QFT design. In this paper, we present to apply the approximation algorithm for loop shaping to PID tuning. An example is used to illustrate its feasibility.

  • This paper presents the system design of permanent magnet linear synchronous machine with double-side PM mover and slotless iron-cored stator in the required speed and thrust. in this paper, the design of manufacturing motor is optimized by characteristics of motor parameters with the variation of PM size and coil turns. And, the permissible operating range of manufactured motor by determination of base speed and base thrust according to switching scheme of DC link voltage are offered. Finally, the results of analytical solutions are verificated by finite element analysis and experiment.

  • In this paper, the vibration source of IPM type BLDC motor was analyzed by finite element method. The main causes of the electrical vibration were RMF(Radial magnetic force) and cogging torque. It was designed model of minimized cogging torque and RMF equilibrium. Design models were selected the optimum model using the design of experiment method. And, the vibration experiment was carried out through prototype machine of each model. Finally, the experimental results were compared with the analysis ones.
