고압 나트륨램프의 점등과 소등을 위한 제어기의 릴레이 접점의 융착 방지 (The Prevention of Melting Contact in Accordance Relay of Controller for Turn on/off High Pressure Sodium Vapor Lamp)

  • For turn on high pressure sodium vapor lamp, Starting Voltage is very important factor. This starting voltage supply to high pressure sodium vapor lamp as electric discharge lamp, Electric field is producted in electric discharge tube, So accelerative electron collide against vapor atom and second electron is generated, And rapidly the current flow to electric discharge tube. This starting voltage is high voltage and source for melting contact that relay is according as turn on/off high pressure sodium vapor lamp. Consequently, This paper propose that the prevention of melting contact in accordance relay of controller for turn on/off high pressure sodium vapor lamp.

  • 고압방전등을 점등하기 위해서는 고전압의 시동전압이 필요하게 되는데, 이러한 시동전압은 고압력의 나트륨램프에서도 필요하게 된다. 자기장은 전기 방전튜브에서 만들어지게 되며 증기 원자에 대한 전자충돌이 가속화되면서 2차 전자가 발생하고 전기 방전튜브에 전류가 급속도로 흐르게 되며, 나트륨램프의 제작회사마다. 서로 다른 램프의 수명 및 교환시점도 서로 다르다는 것을 본 논문의 연구과정에서 발견하게 되었다. 본 논문에서는 LabVIEW소프트웨어패키지를 사용 중인 나트륨램프의 교환시점의 알고리듬을 제안한다.

  • At present, the cold cathode fluorescent lamp (CCFL) using mercury lamp has been generally used far liquid crystal backlight source of personal computer and car navigation and so on. This kind of lamp is more excellent on luminance performance and cost. However, the requirements of liquid crystal backlight due to a light source without mercury have been strongly increased from a viewpoint of the actual influence on environmental preservation and environmental recycling. As fluorescent lamp without mercury, Dielectric Barrier Discharge based rare gas fluorescent lamp (DBD-FL) using xenon (Xe) gas has been studied so far. This DBD lamp has no influence on the human body and environmental recycle. Its operating life is long because electrode is out. In this paper, the simulation and experimental results of soft switching high frequency inverter with reverse blocking single switch as a high frequency power supply circuit for DBD-FL using Xe gas are comparatively evaluated and discussed from a practical point of view.

  • In this paper, we studied Surface Discharge Type Flat Fluorescent Lamp(FFL) with High Luminance for LCD Backlighting. This lamp is Surface Discharge Type structure with a pair of Sodalime glass, insulator layer, phosphor layer, and Xe gas gap. There are two influences of Electric field on different dielectric thickness. The Electric field difference at the dielectric layer itself enhances minimum value of firing voltage and luminance uniformity. So, we measured the Electric filed at 0.5mm, 1mm gap length and discharge voltage for difference dielectric layer thickness. In experiment result, the thicker dielectric layer has higher firing voltage and lower current.

The analysis of neutral particle in Mercury discharge lamp

  • In this paper, we introduced a LIF measurement method and summarized the theoretical side. When an altered wavelength of laser and electric power, lamp applied electric power, we measured the relative density of the metastable state in mercury after observing a laser induced fluorescence signal of 404.8nm and 546.2nm, and confirmed the horizontal distribution of plasma density in the discharge lamp. The results confirmed the resonance phenomenon regarding the energy level of atoms along a wavelength change, and also confirmed that the largest fluorescent signal in 436nm, and that the density of atoms in 546.2nm $(6^3S_1{\rightarrow }6^3P_2)$ were larger than 404.8nm $(6^3S_1{\rightarrow}6^3P_1)$. According to the increase of lamp applied electric power, plasma density increased, too. When increased with laser electric power, the LIF signal reached a saturation state in more than 2.6mJ. When partial plasma density distribution along a horizontal axis was measured using the laser induced fluorescence method, the density decreased by recombination away from the center.

  • The characteristics of Xe discharge lamp(Mercuryless lamp) are described in this paper. In this paper, FFL is operated by sine wave and pulsed source. We apply V-Q Lissajous' figure for the discharge measurements of FFL which has the electrodes covered with dielectric. When FFL is operated by sine wave source, the characteristics are similar to DBD(Dielectric Barrier Discharge) and SD(Silent Discharge). And we compared the characteristics of FFL which is operated with sine wave and pulsed discharge by using V-Q Lissajous' figure method. When FFL is operated with pulsed, the discharge current flows after the applied voltage is risen. As the duty ratio increases the electric field becomes strong and much more xenon ions are produced. And the number of metastable xenon atoms seem to increase, therefore, the phosphor radiation after the cut off of voltage increases compared with the first peak of radiation. Consequently, the 172㎚ radiation becomes strong as the duty ratio increases.

  • 본 연구에서는 한약재 저장장치를 제작하여 한약재 저장 특성을 연구하였다. 저장장치 내에 있는 램프는 '살균 및 오존선을 방사하는 저압 자외선램프(이하, OZ-Lamp)'이다. 방전에서 발생되는 단파장 자외선의 방사 특징을 이용하여, 살균 및 오존 램프의 역할을 수행하고 있는 OZ-Lamp는 한약재 저장을 위한 용도로 사용된다. 본 연구에서는, 한약재의 고품질 유지를 목적으로 한약재 저장 장치의 오존발생 및 전기적 특성을 연구하였으며, 오존처리, 저장에 따른 한약재의 품질 및 성분 특성을 연구하였다.

  • The thesis is used by PSpice circuit model to the characteristics of a fluorescent lamp modified form of he classical Cassie and Mayr equations in order to show the characteristics of HID(High-Intensity Discharge) Lamp. This is useful for applying high-frequency electric ballast for HID Lamp, and show that the result of experimentations and simulations, such as lamp rating, input voltage, high-frequency electric ballast which is using the ABM circuit model of the low pressure sodium lamp, come to the voltage and current wave.

  • This paper presents soft switching zero voltage switching high frequency inverter for rare gas fluorescent lamp using dielectric-barrier discharge phenomenon. The simple high-frequency inverter can completely achieve stable zero voltage soft switching (ZVS) commutation for wide its output power regulation ranges and load variations under its constant high frequency pulse density modulation (PDM) scheme. Its transient and steady state operating principle is originally described and discussed for a constant high-frequency PDM control strategy under a stable ZVS operation commutation, together with its output effective power regulation characteristics-based on the high frequency PDM strategy. The experimental operating performances of this high frequency Inverter are illustrated as compared with computer simulation results and experimental ones. Its light dimming characteristics due to power regulation scheme are evaluated and discussed on the basis of simulation and experimental results. The feasible effectiveness of this high frequency inverter appliance implemented here is proven from the practical point of view.
