  • An electric drill is a handy tool used in a machine shop, which consists of motor, gear, bearing, shaft, and case, i.e., a gear driving system. Low level vibration and noise of the electric drill can bring the assurance of the quality and reliability of the machine. The vibration sources of the electric drill should be investigated for the reduction of the vibration and noise of the system. Through the experiments in a laboratory and the various signal processing procedure for the measured vibration and sound signals, the characteristics of the vibration and noise of the electric drill are investigated. And its propagation path is sought using partial coherence technique.

  • The power distribution is proposed to determine the target operating points of the system components as the basis for maximal the efficiency of the overall system for a power split dual electric machine hybrid electric bus. The coordinated control is constructed on the basis of the power distribution. The basic coordinated control is implemented to satisfy the driver's power demand, in which both the dynamic characteristics of the engine and the dual electric machine are explicitly taken into account. Moreover, the improved coordinated control is suggested to suppress engine dynamic operation and rich fuel injection.

  • The concentrated winding configurations offer significant advantage for reducing end windings. These machines are generally used in low speed high torque application due to relatively low copper loss. However, numbers of fractional slot construction make the designer hard to properly choose pole and slot numbers for the certain application. This paper provides the general information of possible fractional slot concentrated double layer winding machine.

  • This study deals with the development of an electrofusion welding machine that is capable of joining plastic pipes using a recently developed electrofusion fitting. This fitting has built-in conductive plastics that are used to weld the joint together as a heating element. In order to explain the mechanism of the new machine, 1) the resistance characteristics of the heating element were explained, 2) the method of electric welding that uses the electrofusion fitting was described, and 3) the method of power supply based on controlling the firing angle was explained. A control system for an intelligent electrofusion welding machine was proposed. This system has the ability to recognize the diameter of an electrofusion fitting using a lookup-table based on the difference of resistance curves according to fitting types, and it is able to weld the fittings regardless of the ambient temperature. A new algorithm was developed to control the power of electric welding through the recognition of feature points from the resistance curve of the heating element. In order to evaluate the performance of the developed welding machine, tests involving the welding of 16 mm- and 20 mm-type fittings were carried out. Examining the welding results, we concluded that the proposed welding machine will offer high productivity and reliability in the field of electrofusion welding.

  • The phenomenon of electrical explosion of conductors is considered in the context of the changes in the energy and structural states of the metal at the stages of energy delivery and relaxation of the primary products of EEC. It is shown that these changes are related to the forced interaction of an intense energy flux with matter and to the subsequent spontaneous relaxation processes. The characteristics of nano-sized metal powders are also discussed. The preferential gas media during EEC is Ar+$H_2$. An increase in $e/e_s$ (in the range of values studied) leads to a reduction in the metal content. For reactive powders obtained with high metal content, it is necessary to separate the SFAP fractions, which settled on the negative electrode of the electric filter.

This thesis touches on the development of high speed and intellectual line center. At first, the line center is necessary that strong structure, compact structure and light weight design for high-speed processing and transfer. So, it is necessary that examination of new materials and structures for light-weight and control devices for precision processing. So. it is going to make mention of the process of 1st model production for the above-mentioned based on test model production and evaluation.

Influencing factors and prediction of carbon dioxide emissions using factor analysis and optimized least squares support vector machine

  • As the energy and environmental problems are increasingly severe, researches about carbon dioxide emissions has aroused widespread concern. The accurate prediction of carbon dioxide emissions is essential for carbon emissions controlling. In this paper, we analyze the relationship between carbon dioxide emissions and influencing factors in a comprehensive way through correlation analysis and regression analysis, achieving the effective screening of key factors from 16 preliminary selected factors including GDP, total population, total energy consumption, power generation, steel production coal consumption, private owned automobile quantity, etc. Then fruit fly algorithm is used to optimize the parameters of least squares support vector machine. And the optimized model is used for prediction, overcoming the blindness of parameter selection in least squares support vector machine and maximizing the training speed and global searching ability accordingly. The results show that the prediction accuracy of carbon dioxide emissions is improved effectively. Besides, we conclude economic and environmental policy implications on the basis of analysis and calculation.

Analytical Calculation for Predicting the Air Gap Flux Density in Surface-Mounted Permanent Magnet Synchronous Machine

  • The research of air gap flux density has a significant effect on predicting and optimizing the structure parameters of electrical machines. In the paper, the air gap coefficient, leakage flux factor and saturation coefficient are first analytically expressed in terms of motor properties and structure parameters. Subsequently, the analytical model of average air gap flux density for surface-mounted permanent magnet synchronous machines is proposed with considering slotting effect and saturation. In order to verify the accuracy of the proposed analytical model, the experiment and finite element analysis (FEA) are used. It shows that the analytical results keep consistency well with the experimental result and FEA results, and the errors between FEA results and analytical results are less than 5% for SPM with high power. Finally, the analytical model is applied to optimizing the motor structure parameters. The optimal results indicate that the analytical calculation model provides a great potential to the machine design and optimization.

  • The purpose of this study was to present the method to choose the optimization machining condition for the wire electric machine. This was completed by examining the ever-changing quality of the material and by improving the function of the wire electric discharge machine. Precision metal mold products and the unmanned wire electric discharge machining system were used and then applied in industrial fields. This experiment uses the wire electric discharge machine with brass wire electrode of 0.25mm. To measure the precision of the machining surface, average values are obtained from 3 samples of measures of center-line average roughness by using a third dimension gauge and a stylus surface roughness gauge. In this experiment, we changed no-node voltage to 7 and 9, pulse-on-time to $6{\mu}s,\;8{\mu}s$ and $10{\mu}s$, pulse-off-time to $8{\mu}s,\;10{\mu}s$ and $13{\mu}s$, and experimented on wire tension at room temperature by 1000gf, 1200gf, and 1400gf, respectively.
