The purpose of this study to find the mixture of concrete for Top-Down method. Throughout test of elapsed time change and L-type flow, it was proposed basic performance and level of top-down method concrete. When change as to elapsed time is considered, so series of F10 added 10% S.P satisfied slump and demanded flow (60$\pm$5cm), and L-type slump, L-type flow satisfied liquidity, it can be considered basic mixture of designed actual frame later.

This paper was analyzed the resistivity change characteristic of mortar model block and concrete that was made earth electrode that's used concrete or basic concrete of building for 1 year. The early resistivity measurement value of concrete model block is higher than mortar model block. But after 1 year the resistivity measurement value of mortar model block is significantly higher than concrete model block. Because depends on time elapsed complete dryness factor of mortar model block that has not gravel is higher than concrete model block. And absorptance and function of mortar mode block was by far outstanding than concrete model block in the data for verification of the amount of contained water and the amount of dryness of mortar model block and concrete model block.
The most common deterioration cause of concrete structures in urban environment is carbonation. Recently, the $CO_2$ concentration and temperature at atmosphere is sharply increased with time due to global warming phenomena. In this study, the climate scenario IS92a, which was suggested by the IPCC, is used to consider temperature and atmospheric $CO_2$ concentration change in the model of service life prediction. The modified mathematical solution, which was based on the Fick's 1st law of diffusion, was used to reflect concrete materials properties such as the degree of hydration of concrete with elapsed time, and important parameters, which associated with deterioration rate. The techniques of service life prediction are developed introducing the method of reliability and stochastic concept to consider microclimatic condition in Seoul, South Korea. From the result of service life prediction, concrete containing high W/C ratio is shown fast carbonation rate due to $CO_2$ concentration increase. It is concluded that the deterioration of concrete structures due to carbonation is insignificant problem on the conditions that below W/C 55%, well curing concrete.

This paper evaluates the effect of hot weather conditions on the fresh concrete characteristics of 80-MPa high-strength concrete. The slump flow, packing ability, setting time, hydration heat, and compressive strength were evaluated under exterior temperatures of $20^{\circ}C$, $30^{\circ}C$, and $40^{\circ}C$. The slump flow, arrival speed of 500 mm, and their changes with the elapsed time were found to bring the occurrence of rapid slump loss forward by about 30 minutes when increasing the temperature by $10^{\circ}C$ from $20^{\circ}C$. The initial and final setting times of the concrete at $20^{\circ}C$ were 7 hours and 12 hours, which were reduced by 1 hour and 3 hours at $30^{\circ}C$ and by 2 hours and 5 hours at $40^{\circ}C$, respectively. The hydration heat characteristics at $20^{\circ}C$ and $30^{\circ}C$ were similar in terms of the highest temperature of the concrete casting depth and the time when the maximum temperature occurred. However, at $40^{\circ}C$, the maximum temperature occurred about 4 hours earlier, and the highest temperature per the concrete casting depth increased by about $12^{\circ}C$. Therefore, it is concluded that the characteristics can vary according to the exterior temperature. Thus, quality assurance should consider workability, temperature cracks due to hydration heat, the properties of strength development, and other characteristics.

In the pumping process, concrete moves along the pipe and experiences both pressure and shear. This changes the workability and flow characteristics of the concrete. However, the effect of pressure and shear on the change in properties of concrete during the pumping process has not yet been accurately identified. This study analyzed the effects of pressure and shear on the properties of concrete during pumping. For quantitative tests, lab-scale test equipment capable of simulating the pressure and shear applied to concrete during pumping was used. For one coarse aggregate type, two paste types, three mortar types, and five concrete types, the effects of pressure, shear, and shear under pressure conditions were examined by varying the maximum pressure (0 to 200 bar) and the rotational speed of the vane for shear (0 to 180 rpm). Under the maximum pressure condition of 200 bar, the water absorption of coarse aggregate increased by 0.62% and that of fine aggregate also increased. When the concrete was under pressure, significant changes (a reduction in a slump and an increase in viscosity and yield stress) compared with the effect of the elapsed time occurred owing to an increase in the water absorption of the aggregates. When both pressure and shear were applied to concrete, both the slump and viscosity decreased. As the rotational speed of the vane increased, changes in properties became significant. Shearing in the absence of pressure maintained the properties of concrete. However, shearing under pressure conditions caused a reduction in slump and viscosity.

This study was performed for the analysis of the variation characteristics on riverbed according to the arrangement of stream. It was monitored of the variation progress of riverbed dependent on the elapsed time after the arrangement and It was studied that the hydraulic adjustment of the riverbed caused by the variation of the riverbed. The large amount of deposit just after the construction in which the riverbed was arranged to natural form was come from the reduction of flow rate by the installed artificialities such as weirs and stone weirs and by the stones or the concrete blocks attached to the stream sides of riverbanks. This phenomenon was well consistent with the usual characteristics that the accumulation is induced on upper stream of hydraulic artificialities and the erosion is induced on down stream of hydraulic artificialities. The large reduction of the deposit 1 year later after the construction showed that the riverbed eroded considerably because of the recovery of flow amount and the rise of flow rate.

This is an experimental study for recycling coal ash left over from coal use as a potential fine aggregate in concrete. Coal ash is generally divided into either fly ash or bottom ash. Fly ash has been utilized as a substitution material for cement in concrete mixes. On the other hand, bottom ash has the problem of low recycling rates, and thus it has been primarily reclaimed. This study partially substituted fine concrete aggregates with bottom ash to increase its application rate and therefore its recycling rate; its suitability for this purpose was confirmed. The concrete's workability dropped noticeably with increasing bottom ash content when a fixed water-cement ratio of concrete mix was used. Thus, concrete mixes with higher ratio levels are required. To address this problem, concrete was mixed using a polycarboxylate high-range water reducing agent. The fluidity and air entrainment immediately after mixing the concrete and 1 h after mixing were measured, thereby replicating the time concrete is placed in the field when produced either in a ready-mixed concrete or in a batch plant. As a result of this research, the workability and air entrainment were maintained 1 h after mixing for a concrete mixture with approximately 30% of its fine concrete aggregates substituted with the bottom ash. A slight drop in compression strength was seen; however, this confirmed that potential of using bottom ash as a fine aggregate in concrete.

This study evaluated changes in fluidity and rheological properties over time for 3D printed composite materials, and evaluated compressive strength and splitting tensile strength properties for laminated and molded specimens. The composite material for 3D printing starts to change rapidly after 30 minutes of extrusion, and the viscosity of the material tends to be maintained up to 90 minutes, but it was confirmed that construction within 60 minutes after mixing is effective. The compressive strength of the laminated test specimen showed equivalent or better performance at all ages compared to the molded test specimen. In the stress-strain curve of the laminated specimen, the initial slope was similar to that of the molded specimen, but the descending slope was on average 1.9 times higher than that of the molded specimen, indicating relatively brittle behavior. The splitting tensile strength of the P-V laminated specimen was about 6% lower than that of the molded specimen. It is judged that this is because the interfacial adhesion force against the vertical load is affected by the pattern direction of the laminated test specimen.
