리어가이더 곡률반경에 따른 룸에어콘용 관류홴의 공력성능에 대한 실험적 연구 (Experimental Study on the Aerodynamic Performance of a Cross-Flow Fan for the Various Curvature Radius of a Rear-Guider for a Room Air-Conditioner)

  • The aerodynamic performance of a cross-flow fan is strongly influenced by the various design factors of a rear-guider and a stabilizer. The design factors considered in this paper are a rear-guider clearance, a stabilizer clearance, and a stabilizer setup angle, respectively. Also, these factors are given to the various diameter ratio between a basic circle and a impeller. The static pressure and the flowrate of a cross-flow fan were measured with a fan-tester. It could be found that the useful design factors with a good aerodynamic performance exist in the certain assembly conditions of an indoor RAC. Therefore, it could be known that a new published patent determining the easy design of an indoor RAC can be applied in a variety of goods.

황화수소 제거를 위한 망간계 탈황제의 물리적 특성과 황화반응 속도 (Physical Properties and Sulfidation Kinetics of Mn-Based Sorbent for Hydrogen Sulfide Removal)

  • 모사 고온석탄가스로부터 황화수소를 제거하기 위해 망간계 탈황제(MT, MFT)에 대한 실험을 수행하였다. 망간계 탈황제의 황화수소 제거효율과 탈황제의 물리적 특성을 파악하기 위해 각각 고정층 반응기와 attrition tester를 사용하여 실험하였다. 마멸저항에 대한 실험결과, 벤토나이트를 5% 함유한 탈황제가 2%를 함유한 탈황제보다 마멸저항이 컸으며 또한 경화온도가 높을수록 마멸저항이 큰 것으로 나타났다. 반응온도, 황화수소농도, 그리고 공간속도가 황화수소 제거효율에 미치는 영향을 조사한 결과, MT와 MFT 탈황제 모두 $450^{\circ}C$에서는 황화수소를 5,100ppmv에서 20ppmv까지 제거할 수 있었고, $550{\sim}650^{\circ}C$에서는30~65ppmv까지 제거할 수 있었으며, 공간속도가 증가함에 따라 파과시간은 감소하였다.

제지폐수의 응집특성에 관한 연구 (Study on Wastewater of Paper Mill for Coagulant Characteristics)

  • 본 연구에서는 우유팩을 이용하여 재생용 화장지를 만드는 제지공장의 제지폐수를 이용하여 폐수의 침강특성 및 SS, $BOD_5$, 제거 효율을 검토하고, Jar-tester를 이용하여 급속교반시간, 완속교반 시간에 따른 탁도, SS, S-$BOD_5$ 및 최적 응집제 주입량을 결정하였다. 각종 응집제 첨가 및 침강 특성에 의한 탁도제거의 효율을 측정하였다. 적정 응집제 첨가량, 급속교반 및 완속교반의 시간에 따른 처리 효율의 이론식을 제시하였다. 또한 응집제 Polyaluminium chloride(PAC) 및 Aluminium sulfate의 응집 비교 실험을 행하였다.

  • This study was carried out to investigate the efficiency of steel mill slag and sludge in removing heavy metals and cyanide in metal plating wastewater. Laboratory experiments were peformed with jar tester, The tests were peformed at ambient temperature. The results of tests showed that overall rates metals removed were greater than 90 %. Metals were removed from solution as the combined effects of adsorption and precipitation in alkaline condition. The removal efficiency of cyanide by steel mill wastes was above 90 % at optimum conditions. In view of the test results and other engineering characteristics of steel mill slag and sludge, these industrial by-products from steel industry have a high potential to be used in metal plating wastewater treament and were particularly beneficial.

LDC 재생형 부하 시험기의 효율 개선에 관한 연구 (A Study on Energy Efficiency Improvement of LDC Recycling Load Tester)

  • 하이브리드 자동차나 전기 자동차에는 대용량의 배터리를 장착하여 동력 및 전장품의 전원으로 사용하고 있다. 대용량의 배터리를 이용하여 ECU(Electronic control unit) 및 조명, 라디오, 네비게이션 등의 전장품의 전원으로 사용하기 위해서는 DC 240-400V의 높은 전압을 DC 12-14V의 낮은 전원으로 변환해 주는 DC 컨버터가 필요한데 이것을 LDC(Low Voltage DC-DC Converter)라 한다. LDC는 생산 공정 중에 잠재적인 불량을 줄이기 위해 장시간의 에이징(Aging)을 실시하고 있다. 일반적인 에이징 방법으로는 LDC가 DC-DC 컨버터이기에 입력에 직류전원공급기와 출력에 전자부하기를 연결하여 사용한다. 안정적인 동작을 위해 LDC 보다 10%이상 큰 용량의 제품을 사용하며, 출력에 걸리는 전력을 100% 열로 소비하는 구조이다. 때문에 LDC를 테스트 위해 2개의 장비를 사용함에 따른 부피의 문제와 전자부하기의 발열에 따른 문제가 존재한다. 이에 본 논문에서는 부하장치에서 열로 소비되는 전기의 상당부분을 입력 측으로 되돌려 보내는 재생형 방식의 부하시험방법을 제안하고 재생형 부하 시험기의 효율 개선을 통하여 열로 소비된 전기의 80% 이상 절감을 실현하였다.

하이브리드 선형이온원에 의한 유압 기어펌프용 Cr-DLC코팅막의 특성과 효율성능 (Coatings Properties and Efficiency Performance of Cr-DLC Films Deposited by Hybrid Linear Ion Source for Hydraulic Gear Pump)

  • This paper describes the results of the application of Cr-Diamond-like carbon (DLC) films for efficiency improvement through surface modification of spur gear parts in the hydraulic gear pump. Cr-DLC films were successfully deposited on SCM 415 substrates by a hybrid coating process using linear ion source (LIS) and magnetron sputtering method. The characteristics of the films were systematically investigated using FE-SEM, nano-indentation, sliding tester and AFM instrument. The microstructure of Cr-DLC films turned into the dense and fine grains with relatively preferred orientation. The thickness formed in our Cr buffer layer and DLC coating layer were obtained the 487 nm and $1.14\;{\mu}m$. The average friction coefficient of Cr-DLC films considerably decreased to 0.15 for 0.50 of uncoated SCM415 material. The hardness and surface roughness of Cr-DLC films were measured 20 GPa and 10.76 nm, respectively. And then, efficiency tests were performed on the hydraulic gear pump to investigate the efficiency performance of the Cr-DLC coated spur gear. The experimental results show that the volumetric and mechanical efficiency of hydraulic gear pump using the Cr-DLC spur gear were improved up to 2~5% and better efficiency improvement could be attributed to its excellent microstructure, higher hardness, and lower friction coefficient. This conclusion proves the feasibility in the efficiency improvement of hydraulic gear pump for industrial applications.

실내장식용 섬유소재의 흡음성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Noise Absorption of Textiles for Interiors)

  • The purpose of this study is to help to prevent daily noises by measuring the noise absorption coefficient of the non-woven fabrics and wallpapers which are commonly used in lining and noise absorption coefficient of lining curtain. Seven types of fiber materials for the interior decoration, one non-woven fabric for the wallpaper linings, and two types of textiles for curtain linings are used as the experimental materials in this study. The noise absorption coefficient of the noise absorbents were measured by using impedance tube. And the thermal transmittance were measured by using thermal transmittance tester. The results of this study are as follows; Observing the noise absorption efficiency of each experimental materials, the combination of fiber materials and linings, the noise absorption efficiency of cotton, polyester and silk were similar and for the experimental materials of flax, rayon, acrylic and nylon were resulted the similar noise absorption efficiency. The result of combination of fiber material and black fabric was highest among the combined linings. For the combination of fiber material and non-woven fabric, double layers of non-woven fabric resulted slightly higher noise absorption coefficient result than single layer of non-woven fabric. The thermal transmittance and the sound absorbents of experimental materials were affected by the thickness, density and layer of air of the experimental materials.

피스톤 오일 냉각 유로 형태에 따른 수집효율 성능 비교 (Performance Comparison of Collecting Efficiencies to Various Types of Piston Oil Cooling Gallery)

  • In this research, it is investigated the collecting efficiency of jet oil to several types of piston oil cooling gallery by using recently developed PCJ (piston cooling jet) rig tester. So it will be selected for a better design of piston oil cooling gallery. The collecting efficiencies at each type of piston cooling galleries are measured under conditions of a few piston positions, and several oil jet pressures and oil viscosities. Furthermore, the type of jet cone will be compared for a few jet pressure conditions. The selected type of piston oil cooling gallery is planned to be applied to the target engine which is now developing to satisfy the EURO VI emission regulation.

멀티형 에어컨의 기간에너지소비효율 평가규격에 관한 연구 (An Overview on Standards for Seasonal Performance Evaluation of Multi-type Air Conditioners)

  • Energy efficiency evaluation method for a multi-type air conditioning system still has not been developed. In this study, analysis on capacity range and evaluating method of standards for air conditioners was conducted with world-wide Standards. It is not a proper approach to use the standards for residential air conditioner to multi type air conditioners. Some difficulties and problems are commented in this study with overview of the standards. Through the analytic research, an evaluating method for multi type air conditioner was suggested with Integrated Part Load Value (IPLV). The suggested concept for evaluating energy efficiency during part load condition considers building load pattern and operating hours of the system at different locations. Load was weighted in IPLV to consider not only the concept of occurrence of outdoor temperature such as bin method but also operation hours of the system. An experiment about the IPLV was conducted with variable air volume ducted type air conditioning system and multi-type system through modified code tester to give a glance at quantitative value of the IPLV.

불완전 디버깅을 고려한 개발 소프트웨어의 최적 인도 시기 결정 방법에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Optimum Release Time Determination of Developing Software Considering Imperfect Debugging)

  • The software reliability growth model(SRGM) has been developed in order to evaluate such measures as remaining fault number, fault rate, and reliability for the developing stage software. Most of the study literatures assumed that this detecting efficiency was perfect. However the actual fault detecting is generally imperfect, and widely known to many persons. It is not easy to develop and remove the fault existing in the software because the fault finding is difficult, and the exact solving method also not easy, and new fault may be introduced depending on the tester's capability. There, the fault removing efficiency influences the software reliability growth or developing cost of software. It is a very useful measure throughout the developing stage, much helpful for the developer to evaluate the debugging efficiency, and evaluate additional workload. Hence, the study for the imperfect debugging is important in point of software reliability and cost. This paper proposes that the fault debugging is imperfect and new fault may be introduced for the developing software during the developing stage.
