노후 건강 및 복지증진을 위한 평생교육 프로그램개발에 관한 연구: 대학 내 노년학센터(가칭)의 설치운영을 중심으로 (A Study on the Development of Lifelong Educational Programs for the Promotion of Health and Welfare in Later Life: Centering around the Establishment and Management of Aging Center in University)

  • In aging Korean society, many elderly people have difficulty in the areas of health, economic insecurity, role-loss(both work & spouse), loneliness, and family conflicts. Above all, retirement from work is one of the most important stressful life events having influences an elderly's persons economic & social activities, mental state, health status, and Lifelong educational programs could help the aged cope with these situations in later life. Health and social welfare are commonly recognized as an important value of life. They also have an effect on each other. Most people agree that the promotion of health and social welfare is to take a short-cut toward achieving well-being. Thus we need to develop a substantially integrated program of lifelong education, before and after retirement, for the promotion of health and welfare. Universities have the advantage of practicing lifelong educational programs because they have more material, intellectual, and human resources than any other educational facilities. As a result, the purposed of this study is to suggest life-long educational programs for promoting both health conditions and the level of social welfare by utilizing an aging center affiliated with a university. Specifically, the developmental courses of pre-retirement, learning in retirement, elder-hostels, and the connection between pre and post-retirement educational programs are proposed in this study.

  • To evaluate the effect of informational support by hospice team on family caregivers of terminally ill cancer patients, 22 family caregivers of D University Hospital in Daegu city were participated. The research was conducted from Aug. 16th to Oct. 28th 2000 by using self-reported questionnaires. The instruments used in this study were the Weinert's scale of perceived social support, Spielberger's state anxiety inventory, CES-D, and Ellison and Paloutzian's spiritual well-being scale. The intervention was designed to give educational and counselling program up to 7 times within 4 weeks. Educational and counselling booklets which made by the researcher were used step by step by hospice team. The data were analysed frequency, percentage, Wilcoxon Singed Ranks Test Test with SPSS Win 10.0/PC. The results obtained from this study were as follows: 1.The perceived social support of family caregivers was significantly increased after ready planned informational support was applied by hospice team(z=-3.045, p=0.002). 2.The anxiety of family caregivers was significantly reduced after ready planned informational support was applied by hospice team(z=-3.348, p=0.001). 3.The depression of family caregivers was significantly reduced after ready planned informational support was applied by hospice team(z=-3.641, p=0.000). 4.The spiritual well-being score of family caregivers was not significantly improved after ready planned informational support was applied by hospice team(z=-0.422, p=0.673). In conclusion, the results of this study clearly suggests that the informational support provided by hospice team not only increased the family caregivers' who are caring for terminally ill cancer patients. Therefor the informational support program designed by researcher for family caregivers who are caring for terminally ill cancer patients should be utilized and expended.

유아기 자녀를 둔 아버지의 행복에 관련된 변인 탐색 (Exploring Happiness of Young Children's Fathers)

  • Objectives: The purpose of this study was to explore socio-demographic factors, personality factors, socio-psychological factors, and relationship factors related to happiness of young children's fathers. Method: Subjects of this study were fathers who had 3, 4 and 5 years old children attending childcare centers. Data were analyzed by SPSS 18.0 program. Results: First, father's subjective well-being was predicted by father's extraversion of personality, job satisfaction, satisfaction of economic status, marital intimacy, and relationship with child. Marital intimacy was the strongest predictor of father's subjective well-being. Second, father's global life satisfaction was associated with occupational status, family monthly income, father's extraversion of personality, satisfaction of economic status, marital intimacy, and relationship with child. Father's global life satisfaction was explained by satisfaction of economic status the most. Third, father's meaning of life was related to father's educational level, father's extraversion of personality, job satisfaction, satisfaction of economic status, marital intimacy, and relationship with child. Father's meaning of life was explained by relationship with child the most. Fourth, father's positive emotion was predicted by father's extraversion of personality, job satisfaction, satisfaction of economic status, marital intimacy, and relationship with child. Extraversion of personality was the strongest predictor for father's positive emotion. Fifth, neuroticism of personality and marital intimacy were related to father's negative emotion, and neuroticism of personality was the strongest predictor for father's negative emotion. Conclusions: The findings of this research provide the fundamental source for increasing father's happiness which can be used to establish the educational programs, counseling, and policy on general public's happiness.

  • 최근 초 중등학생들을 위한 정보통신윤리교육의 중요성이 많이 부각되고 있어서 이를 위한 연구 및 새로운 교재의 개발 등 활발한 활동들이 진행되고 있다. 한편, e-러닝이 활성화되면서 학습자 특성과 요구사항을 고려한 교육을 여러 방면으로 시도하고 있는데, 정보통신윤리교육도 예외는 아니다. 만일, 학습자 특성이나 요구사항을 정확하게 파악하여 교육을 한다면 한층 교육적 효과를 높일 수 있을 것이다. 본 논문에서는 정보통신윤리교육을 위한 수업 설계 시 학습자 특성과 요구를 반영하고자 고려해야 할 수업 설계 요소들을 수업목표, 수업유형, 수업내용, 수업매체로 나누어 설문을 한 후, 이를 바탕으로 컨조인트 분석을 실시한다. 즉, 수업 설계 요소에 대한 상대적 중요도를 분석하여 수업 설계 요소간의 차이를 기술하고 정보통신윤리교육을 위한 바람직한 수업 설계 방안을 제안한다.

  • Nowadays the use of computer has a tendency to be being increased in classroom. Also, Many mathematics teachers are attempting to use computer efficiently in classroom. Computer has unique functions such as graphic, animation, and error correction. As graphic and animation can make the content of mathematics visible and make it easy for learners to study mathematics, it is desirable to develop the computer educational program and use it in teaching and learning mathematics. Especially, before concepts study on the unit of Figure or Function, the use of graphic or animation is efficient by being able to understand easily the content. The purpose of this thesis is to produce the computer program on the Movement of Figure in the unit of Equation of Figure which is in mathematics curriculum for the first grade of high school. In teaching and learning mathematics by use of this program, the educational effects are expected as follows: 1. It is expected that this program will stimulate the interest of learners by using animation and acoustic (sound) effect and so learners' voluntary and active thinking activity will be shown. 2. It will be helpful to form exact concept because it is possible to understand intuitively the basic concepts on the Movement of Figure by using graphic and animation. 3. It is expected that the repeated study of this program already designed will remove the fear of incomplete parts and help review them. 4. It is possible to change from teacher-centered instruction, which is the blind point of recent mathematics education, to the learner-centered instruction. However, it is necessary to realize that using the educational engineering (computer) in mathematics education cannot always cause learners to study mathematics very well and that computer cannot take the place of mathematics teacher. Accordingly, computer will be treated as aids which help learners study difficult part.

  • 정보 매체로서 자리잡은 인터넷은 초고속정보통신망을 통한 종합정보통신망이 된다는 것은 이제 기정 사실이 되었다. 교육 분야에서도 많은 변화를 가져왔고, 점차 가르치는 교수중심에서 배우는 학습자 중심으로 변모해가고 있으며 전통적인 교실에서의 수업보다도 공간과 거리감에 구애를 받지 않는 가상공간(cyberspace)이라는 인터넷을 통하여 가상대학(cyber university)을 설립하게 되었다. 따라서 본 연구는 급속히 변화되는 교육환경에서 교육정보서비스의 개선과 사용자중심의 디자인을 제공하기 위한 방법으로서 WDS (Web Identity Development System)을 적용한 웹사이트디자인을 개발하였다. 그리하여 WDS 적용한 웹사이트 개발 모델를 통하여 가상공간에서 보다 개선된 홈페이지디자인 개발을 위한 방안을 제안하고자 한다.

  • In recent years, the objective information for the environmental effect of architecture will be furnished to the designer and inhabitant in order to minimize an excessive energy consumption and environmental loads by buildings. In addition, an environmental friendly architectural certification program for a residence, office, and school facilities have been operated to spread and supply environmental friendly architecture. Most of the environmental friendly architectural certification programs proposed in the country are focused on the aspect of the physical environments of architecture in its certification ranges. In the case of a foreign country, however, the certification ranges of an environmental friendly architectural certification program for the school facilities among the programs will be extended not only to the standards for architectural design, environmental aspect, and maintaining and management basis by considering the characteristics of educational effects for students but also to the curriculum, policy of environment, and roles of local community facilities by reflecting a social aspect. Therefore, this study proposes a design and evaluation method by considering an ecological element that will satisfy the requirement for educational well-being that includes not only the requirement for school facilities according to the development of a new curriculum like a space for teaching and learning but also the improvement of the quality of educational environments and the objective of an ecological school.

노년기 예방검진에서 사회경제적 불평등 (Socioeconomic Inequalities in Preventive Services among the Elderly: Results from Medical Checkup, Cancer Check, and BP Check)

  • Objectives: Due to the assumptions of homogeneity as well as challenges in the socioeconomic position of the elderly, they have been relatively neglected in studies of health inequalities. Therefore, this study was conducted to investigate the social inequalities in preventive services among elderly men and women. Methods: Data were obtained from a nationally representative sample of 342 men and 525 women aged 65 and over collected during the 2001 National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey. Age adjusted proportions and logistic regression were used to identify the social patterning of preventive services among elderly Koreans using various social position indicators. Results: The findings of this study generally supported the presence of social gradients in preventive services among the Korean elderly. The likelihood of using the service becomes progressively higher with social position. Educational level, income, and self-rated living status were significantly associated with increased medical checkups and cancer checks. In addition, logistic regression detected educational inequalities only among older women receiving BP checks. After being stratified based on health status and chronic disease status, social disparities still existed when educational level and self-rated living status were considered. Among unhealthy individuals, place of residence was observed as a barrier to medical checkups. Conclusions: This study demonstrated strong and consistent associations between socioeconomic position and preventive services among the elderly in Korea. The results indicate that public health strategies should be developed to reduce the barriers to preventive services encountered by the elderly.

  • This paper is to analyse the major impact of the new era of information technology on the changes being made in physical environment of existing corporate training centers through the case of on- and off-line LG academies. By the analysis, some interesting features are to be found which can be a hint for the future planning and design of corporate training centers. Unlike the expectation in the early stage of changes, the rapid growth of on-line education forms a very strong partnership with the existing in-house training programs at all levels. Understanding of such key issues surrounding the use of facilities is specific to the formation of an effective environment for training programmes. After all aspects of the facility uses-not just the class rooms, but also the residential, dining, recreational, and support areas, as well as on-line type of educational services-are carefully examined, a design guideline is identified as considerations for guestrooms, classrooms, public facilities, the recreational areas, and the audio-visual provisions.
