The purposes of this study are to investigate the leisure life, focused on the leisure participation of the elderly living alone or living with their spouse in Chungbuk, and to provide some suggestions from the perspective of the well-being of the elderly. Two hundred fourty four elderly persons were selected, and questionnaire was utilized for collecting data. The results are as follows: The elderly who were living alone or living with their spouse frequently participated in time spending activities and family oriented activities. The structure of leisure participation differed significantly according to the respondent's age, educational level, health status, and monthly average income. The significant independent variables influencing the leisure participation of the elderly were educational level and monthly average income, and further, the most important variable in influencing the elderly leisure participation was the educational level.
The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship of job satisfaction, self-encouragement, and subjective well-being of public kindergarten teachers. To achieve this, a questionnaire was given to 121 teachers in public kindergartens, and the data were analyzed through descriptive statistics and independent-sample t-tests. The main results of this study are as follows: First, job satisfaction, self-encouragement, and subjective well-being of the teachers were above medium level, while negative affect was lower. Second, public kindergarten teachers with higher job satisfaction showed significantly higher subjective well-being than those with lower job satisfaction. Third, teachers with higher levels of self-encouragement showed significantly higher subjective well-being than those with lower job satisfaction. Fourth, in the case of teachers with higher job satisfaction, those with higher levels of self-encouragement showed significantly higher subjective well-being than those with lower levels. The results suggest that the subjective well-being of the teachers depends on the level of their job satisfaction and self-encouragement, and that even if they do have low job satisfaction, high self-encouragement could have a positive effect for them. The results of this study are discussed, and suggestions provided for further research.

This study attempted to understand the living conditions of children after school, focusing on 437 children attending an elementary school with working parent. This investigation also analyzed socio-demographic variables, the forms of after school child-care and differences in psychological well-being of children. The major findings were as follows First, self-care children took up 42.3% as the result of the survey on living conditions after school of lower-grade children. It showed that children under the condition of self-caring for more than four hours a day on the average took up 2/3 of the child group. Second, the results of examining the differences of psychological well being of children secondary to socio-demographic variables, it showed significant differences in the area of anxiety with respect to children’s genders, Parental occupations in the area maternal educational levels. Third, the results of the findings on whether there were differences in the psychological well-eing of these children depending on the form of after school hour child care showed that there were significant differences between loneliness and self-perceives competence felt by children.

This paper assesses the evidence of the built environments' impact on patients' and staff's well-being. It also introduces evidence-based design (EBD) and discusses barriers and solutions for promoting EBD. EBD is an informed approach to design by improving design decisions based on best available knowledge. Designers should provide psychologically and physically supportive environments to promote occupants' well-being. There is increasing evidence that a poorly designed environment elicits negative feelings and stress. Better design will lead to better outcomes especially when it applied to a vulnerable population such as patients, children, and the elderly. Due to high demands of promoting patients' health, healthcare providers and professional designers have been searching for evidence to create healing environments. EBD has been well received in healthcare facilities design and is expanding to other types of environmental design such as educational and commercial design. Design firms should consider EBD as a value-added component of design to meet current and future challenges. It is important for designers to realize that engaging in EBD is not a rejection of creativity, but a means by which to scrutinize their design projects. With critical literature reviews on healing environments, there is sufficient evidence that well-designed environments can promote patients' and medical staff's health outcomes.

In Korea because their recognition of the study approach and the social safety for social security control function is still staying first step and our daily life is annoying from various threat of the society. many studies and the realistic necessity of experience related with social security is being studied. In addition. The development possibility of the civil guard and defense at the civil field which will be keep the social security has a wide position but its study approach and realistic comprehension is still in insufficient condition.

Purpose: This study was conducted to investigate the factors that affect subjective well-being in nursing students. Methods: A total of 236 nursing students participated in the study. Data was collected from November through December 2013 using a self-reporting questionnaire that surveyed the level of gratitude, interpersonal relationship ability, subjective happiness, and life satisfaction. Data was analyzed by descriptive analysis, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson correlation coefficients and multiple regression with the SPSS/WIN 18.0 program. Results: Subjective happiness positively correlated with gratitude (r=.41, p<.001) and interpersonal relationship ability (r=.55, p<.001). Life satisfaction positively correlated with gratitude (r=.53, p<.001) and interpersonal relationship ability (r=.37, p<.001). Significant predictors of subjective happiness included gratitude (${\beta}=.38$, p<.001), interpersonal relationship ability (${\beta}=.28$, p<.001) and major satisfaction (${\beta}=.17$, p=.002). The regression model explained 39.3% of subjective happiness. Significant predictors of life satisfaction included gratitude (${\beta}=.42$, p<.001), academic achievement (${\beta}=.15$, p=.006), interpersonal relationship ability (${\beta}=.16$, p=.008) and major satisfaction (${\beta}=.12$, p=.035). The regression model explained 35.3% of life satisfaction. Conclusion: To improve subjective well-being among nursing students, nurse educators should develop educational intervention programs to promote gratitude and interpersonal relationships.
Objective: This study aimed to identify profiles based on early childhood and elementary school teachers' goal orientations and to examine differences in teacher efficacy, psychological wellbeing, and job satisfaction among these profile groups. Methods: Data were collected through a teacher questionnaire. The teacher goal-orientation scale consisted of six sub-dimensions: growth, leisure, wealth, relationship, promotion, and social contribution. Data were analyzed using latent profile analyses. Results: Latent profile analyses revealed three distinct profile groups: one group characterized by higher scores across all six dimensions (balanced-goal-orientation group); another characterized by lower scores on all six dimensions, with a relatively higher score on the relationship dimension (relationship-goal-oriented group); another one characterized by lower scores on all dimensions except the leisure goal (leisure-goal-oriented group). MANOVA showed that the balanced-goalorientation group was significantly higher in total years of teaching, educational attainment, and age, compared to the leisure-goal-oriented group. In regression analyses, when controlling for educational attainment, teacher types (kindergarten vs. elementary school) did not significantly predict each of the dummy-coded profile groups (0 = no, 1 = yes). When taking into account teachers' age and educational attainment, belonging to the balanced-goal-orientation group was consistently associated with higher levels of teacher efficacy, job satisfaction, and psychological well-being, whereas the opposite pattern was observed in leisure-goal-oriented group. Conclusion: These findings imply that it is crucial to help pre- and in-service kindergarten and elementary school teachers foster a balance between different types of goals, which would ultimately strengthen and stabilize the supply of a teaching force and the provision of a better education.
The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship of time pressure, discretionary time, and subjective well-being(SWB) of university students. In order to achieve it, 493 university students(220 male, 232 female) completed a set of questionnaires about time pressure, discretionary time, subjective well-being. The t-test, multiple regression analysis were performed to analyze the data. The results are as follows. First, There were significant differences among the positive emotion, the negative emotion and time pressure. However, there was no statistically significant difference between the satisfaction of life and discretionary time according to gender. Second, time pressure was negatively correlated with the satisfaction of life of university students but positively correlated with the negative emotion. The discretionary time was positively correlated with the satisfaction of life of university students but negatively correlated with the negative emotion. Time pressure and discretionary time were not correlated with the positive emotion. Finally time pressure significantly correlated with the satisfaction of life, the negative emotion. And It seems that time pressure had an especially strong effect on the negative emotion. Such results imply that time pressure is important for reducing university students's the negative emotion, a subfactor of subjective wellbeing.

The lifelong education center is an educational system that provides adults with learning from cradle to tomb to people, and it is difficult to provide smooth educational services due to the period of COVID-19. Through this, the purpose of this study is to investigate how the service quality of lifelong education centers affects psychological well-being through positive psychological capital based on previous studies on service quality, positive psychological capital, and psychological well-being. This study distributed and collected questionnaires from November 1st to November 14th, 2021, targeting 212 students attending the lifelong education center. As a result of hypothesis verification, first, it was found that the service quality had no effect on self-efficacy, but all of them had an significant effect on hope. Second, it was found that the assurance and responsiveness had a positive effect on resiliency, and it was found that responsiveness had a positive effect on optimism. Finally, hope, resilience, and optimism were found to have a significant effect on psychological well-being. Through the results of this study, it is expected that it can be used as data for the policy direction to provide better quality lifelong education center services to lifelong education center learners.

Educational Facility has a specialty that similar design is repeatedly taken place so the importance of POE(Post Occupancy Evaluation) is increased for the improvement of problem appeared at the former projects. The POE could provides help to the design of next project and the direction when the need of remodeling is faced. Through the process of POE, the repeat of design mistakes could be prevented and the good information related with building efficiency and other problems could be applied to the design of next school project . In this study, the POE of Manbalro(barefoot) toilet of D Elementary school in rural area of H county is performed. The toilet is renovated as an educational environment improvement project of H county educational office in Chungcheong Namdo Province. The study is focused on the user's behavior at Manbalro toilet for carrying out indicative POE by the subjective response of user's. From the research, several being reformed items is proposed however the toilet is evaluated as a successful project that design purpose of initial stage is applied well.
