최근 과학적 정책결정의 합리성을 뒷받침하기 위해서 통계에 대한 수요가 급증하고 있는 실정이다. 따라서 통계 수요자들은 사용자가 필요한 통계표를 직접 실시간적으로 산출하고자 하는 요구를 지속적으로 제기하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 의사결정 및 통계시스템에서 주로 사용하고 있는 데이터웨어하우스, OLAP 시스템 및 스타스키마에 관하여 알아보고 수요자들의 다양한 요구에 부응하기 위한 교육인적자원 통계정보 시스템의 구축에 대해 기술한다. 또한 교육인적자원 통계정보시스템의 핵심기능인 Web OLAP 시스템을 통해서 수요자가 원하는 교육통계정보를 실시간적으로 산출하기 위한 시스템의 구축방안에 대하여 기술하고자 한다.

Along with the industry growth, engineering colleges in Korea has have a quantitative growth. Many of the policy promotions and budgets for engineering colleges from the government are supported. And the various monitoring methods to verify their achievement have demanded. This paper deals with the construction of engineering educational statistics system in Korea. It named Korea Engineering Data Management System(K-EDMS). This system is based on the data mining tool and supports data-based decision making for an advanced engineering education service. This paper presents related researches of case studies. Then, we have designed K-EDMS, and constructed 157 cases for engineering colleges of the year 2014.

Since the 4th Industrial Revolution is implemented based on superintelligence, new insights must be provided through convergence studies with other fields to find optimal solutions to create new ideas. In this paper, we intende to present improvement measures for probability and statistical education, which is an athlete's subject on data analysis and processing in the ICT(Information & Communication Technologies) field in the era of superintelligence of the 4th industrial revolution. This paper aims to strengthen competitiveness through early development and commercialization of new technologies by presenting probabilities and statistical curriculums that require linkage in the ICT field. Second, it is necessary to present an educational system diagram linking probabilities and statistics in the ICT field to prepare a mid- to long-term response strategy for ICT education in response to innovative changes. Third, through a survey, we intend to present an effective educational operation plan linking probability and statistics to ICT major subjects by analyzing the perception of probability, statistical importance, and utilization of majors in this field.

In 1997 a new educational system that allows student to transfer between and within universities was first introduced. As a result, most colleges of basic arts and sciences face a serious problem since quite a few students there have transferred or seems to want to transfer. In this paper we study a problem of building a forecasting neural network for students who can possibly transfer.

In Korea, the statistical system is very weak because it is not functional. Knowledge of statistical theory remains iosolated from applications: routine tasks of collection or processing of data are continued often without utilization, and programms are started in a superficial imitation of other without any purpose. It is essential, in Korea, to make statistics purposive. The only way is to give training statistics-fully developed technology of a multi-discipline character in applied statistics. The purpose of this study is primarily to survey the necessity of, or desire for, statistical tarining for the statistical personnel of the government agencies or bank offices in Seoul, Korea and discuss an adequate method of vacational training in statistics. This survey can be summarized as follows : (1) about 94 percent of the sampled people (478) do not consider their present statistical background adequately trained and 128 persons out of 478 request a graduate level training in respective fields. (2) The statistical fields on job in the sample are : Economic statistics : 138, Sampling survey : 228, management statistics : 50, other fields : 62. (3) Educational background are * College graduate : 369 (male 347, female 22) Economics 99, Business administration 99, Law 71, Mathematics and statistics 24, Others 76 * High school graduate : 109 (male 43, female 66)

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to evaluate the validity of an educational program developed for geriatric visiting nurses in Seoul by assessing their satisfaction level and level of learning goal achievement. Methods: This descriptive research study was conducted to develop, implement, and evaluate the educational program in accordance with the ADDIE Instructional System Model. Participants were 170 nurses hired for the 2016 Seoul Metropolitan Government visiting service for older people. Based on Kirkpatrick's Training Evaluation Model, reaction and learning evaluations were conducted during and after the educational program. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics. Results: The developed educational program consisted of basic and professional courses. The evaluations showed that participants were highly satisfied with the lectures and field placement. Over 90% of the participants achieved the learning achievement goals. Conclusion: The program developed for geriatric visiting nurses in Seoul is considered a valid educational program because of the participants' high levels of satisfaction and academic achievement.

Since 1997, when a new educational system that encourages faculties instead of departments in universities is first introduced, students have much more chance to choose and leave their majors than before. As a result, colleges of basic arts and sciences confront with a serious problem since lots of students have left their majors at the colleges. In this paper, we analyze and provide a predictive model for those students in a university using decision trees.

The purpose of this study is to attain basic source for spacial re-organization of the elementary school. This is the first step of some series of the study, For purpose, some investigations is to grasp the change of education system, curriculum and the present condition of institution were done, and some questions on the using condition of space, the satisfaction and the hope for the space of their school were asked to 371 teachers in elementary school, by questionnaire and interview methods. The result of the survey was analyzed using a statistics-analysis program SAS. The results are summarized as follows: 1) Corridor is using to extend of learning and living space. 2) To correspond to open education, various comers are placed in the classroom and the corridor. 3) As the change of educational system, teachers need parting the source center and the teacher's room.

이 연구는 KDC에서의 통계학 주제가 사회과학 통계학과 자연과학 수리통계학에 교착분류되는 문제점을 개선하고 세부영역의 체계적 전개방안을 제시하는데 있다. 이를 위해 통계학의 학문적 특성, 국내 대학 통계학과의 현황 및 학과명의 변천과정, 교과과정을 분석하였으며, DDC, LCC, NDC의 문헌분류법과 한국연구재단의 연구분야분류표를 비교 분석하였다. 그 결과 관련학과와 연구분야분류표의 학문적 배경에 따라 사회과학의 통계학을 자연과학 아래로 이치 및 통합하였다. 기존의 사회통계학 주제는 사회과학 연구방법을 보완하여 통계적 연구방법으로 세분하여 전개하였다. 또한, 자연과학의 '확률, 수리통계학'의 표목을 '통계학'으로 수정하고 세부영역의 주제를 체계화하여 확대 전개하였다.

The notion of outcome-based educational paradigm and its adaptability for higher education has become a recent growing and quite stirring trend. In the year 2017-18, this educational philosophy has been embraced by some of the higher educational institutions in Pakistan as well. This research attempts to investigate OBE and non-OBE systems in the context of students learning outcomes and academic attainment levels in engineering education in Pakistan. The study has been conducted on undergraduate students of MUET, Jamshoro, Sindh Pakistan. The students of the software engineering department are taken as the sample. Student cohorts are formed i.e., OBE and non-OBE (traditional/teacher-centered approach) cohorts. The summative assessments of semester exams are used for data analysis descriptive statistics and independent samples t-test is performed to set up the group statistic. The findings of this study show that, in terms of students' performance, the OBE system outperforms the traditional system and this transition in engineering institutions might be beneficial in the future.
