이 논문에서는 대용량 3 차원 데이터를 효율적 편집과 실시간 랜더링하는 방법라 자료구조를 제안한다. 3 차원 스캐닝 데이터로부터 만들어지는 대용량 폴리곤 데이터를 사용자 인터페이스를 이용하여 실시간에 편집하기 위한 효율적인 자료·구조를 제안하고, 이를 이용한 포리곤 연산자의 구현 방법 설명하고 있다. 또한, 여기서 제안한 자료구조가 기존 edge 기반 자료구조와의 성능비교를 통해 대용량 메쉬 데이터 편집시스템에 적합한 자료구조임을 보이겠다.

XML은 W3C에서 권고안으로 채택됨으로써, 이를 바탕으로한 CDF, RDF, WIDL, WebBroker 등과 같은 많은 웹 어플리케이션들이 개발되고 있다. XML은 HTML과 같은 단일하고 고정적인 문서 구조에서 벗어나서 자신만의 구조를 가지는 문서를 작성할 수 있도록 해준다. 또한 문서의 내용과 그 내용의 표현이 분리되어 있어, 원 문서의 내용을 변화시키지 않고도 여러 가지 형식으로 표현될 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 확장된 기능을 가지는 XML 문서를 보다 직관적이고 시각적으로 편집할 수 있는 XML 편집기를 제안한다. 본 시각적 XML을 기반으로 하는 다양한 문서를 편집하는데 범용적으로 사용될 수 있다.

본 논문에서는 현재 편집중인 파일을 주기적으로 저장하여 파일이 저장되지 못한 상황에서도 쉽게 복구할 수 있는 파일 시스템을 설계하였다. 제안하는 파일 시스템은 Ext3 파일 시스템을 기반으로 자동 저장에 필요한 자료 구조와 기능을 추가하여 구현하였으며 리눅스 환경에서 사용할 수 있도록 구현하였다. 또한 파일 시스템을 사용하는 데 필요한 시스템 콜과 API를 추가하였다.

This paper deals with developments of computer programs for college academic affairs using key-punch and optical mark reading card. In order to speed up reading input card, at first O.M.R-Binary conversion is done and written on tape, and then Binary-Edit conversion is performed, so that name rolls of students can be printed within a few days after register at the beginning of the semister. Student's scores, records and various statistics are obtained accurately and quickly by updating, editing and inserting by computer programs developed.

동영상 데이터가 갖는 복잡하고 다양한 관계성 때문에 기존의 키워드 기반 정보 검색 방법에는 한계가 있으면 비디오 내용에 기반해 검색을 하는 내용기반 검색기법이 요구된다. 현재 MPEG-7에서도 비디오 내용 표현 방식에 관한 국제 표준화 작업이 시작되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 영상정보와 음성정보를 사용해 비디오의 원하는 부분을 내용에 기반해 검색할 수 있는 비디오 편집 및 검색 시스템을 개발하였다.

본 연구는 대학생 영어 글쓰기 수업에 있어서 동료피드백을 활용한 수업이 어떤 효과를 발휘하는지를 밝힌 것이다. 대학 현장에서 많은 학생들은 글쓰기에 상당한 부담을 갖고 있는 것으로 조사되었다. 이러한 상황을 반영하여 학생들의 부담을 덜 수 있는 효과적인 영어 교수법이 바로 동료피드백을 활용한 글쓰기라 할 것이다. 이는 글쓰기 과정 중심에 초점을 맞춘 것으로 발달단계, 초고작성단계, 수정편집단계에 유용하게 적용할 수 있을 것이다.

In order to conform to the needs of effective program production in multimedia era, we are studying Desk Top Program Production system. With the DTPP, users can easily produce multimedia program including video, sound, and ancillary data, and freely handle video images synthesizing video components retrieved from video database. This paper describes the new program production system, DTPP and its key technologies such as cooperative program production via multimedia network, indexing and utilization of attribute information of images, and image segmentation and spatio-temporal editing.

Digital Multimedia Broadcasting (DMB) Multimedia Application Format (MAF) [3] specify how to combine the variety of DMB contents with associated information for a presentation in a well-defined format that facilitates interchange, management, editing, and presentation of the DMB contents. The current metadtata specification for DMB MAF [3] is based on TV-Anytime metadata tools. In this paper, we overview the general application scenarios of DMB MAF and then explore the TV-Anytime metadata tools and usage examples proposed for DMB MAF.

Spoken dialog system development includes many laborious and inefficient tasks. Since there are many components such as speech recognition, language understanding, dialog management and knowledge management in a spoken dialog system, a developer should take an effort to edit corpus and train each model separately. To reduce a cost for editing corpus and training each model, we need more systematic and efficient working environment. For the working environment, we propose DialogStudio as a spoken dialog system workbench.

본 논문에서는 한국전자통신연구원 VR 연구센터에서 개발한 비선형 MPEG-2 편질 시스템인 "솔거(Solger2001)" 에 사용되는 스트림 형식 변환기를 소개한다. 기존 솔거의 단점으로 여겨져 왔던 다양한 입력 스트림을 지원하지 않는 문제점을 해결하고자 기존의 많은 비선형 편집기에서 입력 포맷으로 사용되고 있는 AVI를 지원하도록 하여 솔거의 활용 범위를 넓혔다.
