This research is quantitative research using the survey method. The number of research samples was 384 customers. Characteristics of this research sample were (1) Savings customers who actively carried out transactions in Islamic banks (2) Savings customers who had used bank services for at least 1 year (3) Savings customers who used services directly and individually. The data analysis technique used in this study was the Partial Least Squares-Structural Equation Model (SEM-PLS) analysis technique, using Warp-PLS 3.0 software. This study investigates the largest Islamic banks in North Sumatra, namely Bank Syariah Mandiri, Bank BNI Syariah, and Bank BRI Syariah. The results show that company communication has a positive and significant effect on satisfaction, service quality has a positive and significant effect on satisfaction, company communication has a positive and significant effect on loyalty, service quality has a positive and significant effect on loyalty, satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on loyalty. This research intends to examine and analyze the service quality effect on petrol buying intention through satisfaction when the Maranatha Christian University lecturers spend their money in the Pertamina-affiliated gas stations in Bandung. To attain this goal, we develop four relevant hypotheses to be tested. Furthermore, we use simple random sampling to acquire samples by denoting a sample size set by the Slovin formula. To collect the responses, we use the online survey and fruitfully yield a 53.54% rate with a total of 106 lecturers participating in completing the distributed questionnaire link. This number is near 100; hence, we employ a structural equation model with a variance basis to analyze them. After examining the data and conferring the results, we conclude three things. First, service quality does not affect purchasing intention, but customer satisfaction positively does. Second, service quality has a positive impact on customer satisfaction. Finally, consumer satisfaction successfully mediates the effect of service quality on the intention to buy. Based on these conclusions, this paper finds the superior service to the petrol buyers is the key driver for the gas stations under Pertamina control to effectively compete with their rivals in the marketplace, especially in Bandung.
Wireless data communication (WDC) services are increasingly penetrating the market. The two main alternative WDC technologies are wireless LAN and mobile Internet. Services based on these technologies display differences in quality attributes such as terminal device, data transmission speed, pricing scheme and so on. How consumers choose between these two alternatives will be determined by their preferences regarding such quality attributes. In turn, their preferences will affect the evolution of WDC services and related technologies. This study employs a conjoint analysis of consumer valuations of quality attributes of wireless LAN and mobile Internet services. Respondents rate hypothetical service alternatives featuring various combinations of quality attributes. By estimating consumer willingness to pay for the attributes of WDC services, the authors predict the evolution of WDC services and related technologies along various quality dimensions, make a comparison with the results of a previous study, and draw policy implications for national-and company-level R&D strategies.

This paper aims to investigate the relationship between country-level institutional quality and public debt in the context of Pakistan. The hypotheses of this study were assessed by using the country-level institutional quality data for Pakistan throughout the years from 1996 to 2018. Data came from the World Databank, IMF and Worldwide Governance Indicators databases. For the analysis, ordinary least square, quantile regression and robust regression were employed to assess the factors influencing the public debt. The results of this study indicate that the factors of voice and accountability, regulatory quality, and control of corruption have a positive and significant relationship with public debt, while political stability, government effectiveness, and the rule of law have a negative and significant effect on public debt. Based on the findings, a weak country-level institutional quality poses a substantial market risk as it signals the existence of an unfavorable economic condition that raises public debt. It was also revealed that an improved performance of country-level institutional quality can lead to the improvement of financial market transparency, hence reduce public debt. In contrast to previous studies, the present study will be breaking ground in enhancing public insight regarding the impact of country-level institutional quality on Pakistan's public debt.

This study aims to analyze the relationship of e-HRM implementation to employee performance both directly and indirectly through the intervening of the Human Resource service Quality variable, both practically and theoretically. This study uses variance-based structural equation modeling (SEM) techniques with partial least square (PLS) statistical testing tools to test the direct relationship of e-HRM and the performance and relationship moderated by Human Resources service quality tested on 200 civil servants in five offices under the coordination of the Government of the South Sulawesi Province of Indonesia. The data collection model in this study uses an online survey. The data analysis stages through the explanatory concept consist of, first, the interpretation of the distribution of the average frequency of respondents' answers; second, outer-loading; third, determination of the validity and reliability; fourth, the coefficient of determination test and partial test; fifth, the GoF model; sixth, validity test; and seventh, hypothesis testing. This study explores four hypotheses in a comprehensive fashion; the results of this study show that all hypotheses have positive and significant effects both through direct and intervening relationships. Among the three direct relationships, the relationship of e-HRM variables on HR Service Quality is greatest and most dominant.
Continuous Improvement is a central concept in the quality movement. In almost all descriptions of quality initiatives Continuous Improvement is central. Even in ISO 9000:2000 that has been recognised. In this paper we will discuss the role of continuous Improvement within the quality movement, its relation to knowledge management and, especially, its origin in pragmatic philosophy.

Earnings management is very important for companies that aim for decision-making. The research was conducted to analyze the quality of earnings and income smoothing motives in manufacturing companies in Indonesia. The research approach is carried out with a quantitative approach. The sampling method using purposive sampling was associated with several criteria so that a sample of 130 was determined, which was analyzed during the 4 years of the study. The partial least square method was used for data analysis. The results of the study state that institutional ownership has no effect on earnings quality, institutional ownership has a negative effect on income smoothing, leverage has a negative effect on income smoothing, independent commissioners have a positive effect on earnings quality as well as independent commissioners have a positive effect on income smoothing. We assume that the tendency of income smoothing can affect the quality of efficient earnings. Meanwhile, income smoothing affects the quality of company earnings. Management that performs income smoothing is more aimed at conveying the company's prospects for generating profits rather than opportunistic motives.
