In these days, the interest on medical industry is increasing around the world. This paper attempts to estimate the economic effects of the medical and measuring instrument industry through the Input-Output Analysis. Especially, 78*78 Sector Tables were used as the first analysis tool. So then, 79*79 Sector Tables adjusted were used for that industry. The main analysis tools of this study are comparing and analyzing backward and forward linkage effect, the induced effect of the self industry and other industries and the induced coefficients such as products, value-added, employee's pay, sales surplus, employment. According to the result of analysis, the medical and measuring instrument industry has great economic impacts which affects the major macroeconomic factors such as production and backward linkage effect. And the induced effects of the self medical and measuring instrument industry are significant compared to other industries in aspects of production, employee's pay and sales surplus.

This study was carried out to present the measures for the stable environment-friendly rice's production, farm income increase and consumption revitalization and so on by analyzing economic effects of the environment-friendly rice's production complex by certification type, cultivation type and distribution type. Data were collected from the environment-friendly rice's production complex in Kyunggi, Kangwon, Chungnam and Chunnam provinces. Survey was conducted with sorted by organic and no-pesticide farming. Of the samples 5 types of organic farming and 4 types of no-pesticide farming were surveyed in 17 and 18 complex, respectively. The farmers income of organic and no-pesticide farming per 10a were individually about $29{\sim}68%$ and 50% higher than the conventional farming. Base on the above results, the reasonable measures fur the stable environment-friendly rice's production and distribution and consumption revitalization were to secure partnership among business, universities, government and research institutes sectors, to organize farmers group and production complex, to establish RPC for environment-friendly rice and to introduce certification system for the distribution dealers.

In this work, we have investigated the national economic effects of the ubiquitous industry(UI) for a u-Korea(ubiquitous Korea) project. Since the UI are now playing the more and more important role in Korean economy, it will be very appropriate to provide the policy makers with the accurate and reliable information regarding the role of UI in the national economy. This paper employs input-output analysis to examine the impacts of UI while carefully taking into account the unique situations of Korea. The meaningful results have been obtained by utilizing the rich experiences of the UI. To be more specific, the economic effects of UI on the production-inducing, added value-inducing, export & import-inducing and employments have been addressed in the work.

The economic development system of Korea is based on export-oriented strategy and the free trade agreement. So Korea is trying to conclude the free trade agreement with China, Japan, and EU. The reason is that Korea will have more chances to develop there economy scale and trade surplus, but it will give the worst economic situation. The research showed that the effects of FTA on Korea's GDP will be much greater than China's and Korea's trade surplus with China will expand in the manufacturing sector, but agricultural and marine products are layed in opposite situation. Especially comparing with other Provincial, Gwangju Jeonnam has a relative importance portion of agricultural and marine products. So, Gwangju Jeonnam have to prepare the effects of agricultural and marine products under the Korea China FTA.

This paper want to do the feasibility analysis that it uses financial statements in order to attract foreign investment to enter in the Busan area. And this paper would be presented the plan about foreign investment revitalization. To that end, this paper would be deployed the following methods and scope. First, It defines to the concept of foreign investment, foreign investment region, and foreign-invested enterprises, I wish to loot at the economic effects of positive and negative effects through foreign investment. Second, this study's scope would be set up foreign investment area of Busan, and investigate the land development cost of invested enterprises, construction cost of enterprises burden, expected revenues, etc. Third, it classified three industry for the feasibility analysis of entered enterprises, so would be yield industry-specific analysis using financial statements to be pre-research. Forth, this paper is suggested a revitalization plan for efforts to attract foreign investment, for the future through economic effective analysis of foreign invested-enterprises.

The presence of imprecise measurement may seriously affect the efficiency of process control and production cost. A cost model is derived to determine the design parameters of the economic asymmetric $\bar{X}$ and S control charts including measurement errors. The effects of imprecise measurement on the performance of the economic asymmetric $\bar{X}$ and S control charts and production cost are examined for the case where the process mean and process standard deviation may change. Application of the proposed control charts is demonstrated through an example. Numerical examples illustrate the effects of imprecise measurement on the design parameters of the proposed control charts. It shows that the imprecision measurement may seriously affrct the ability of the proposed control charts to detect process disturbances quickly, change the sampling frequency, and increase the production cost compared to the control charts excluding measurement errors.

This study examines the effects of economic and relational dimensions of supplier-distributor relationship on distributors intents to leave. A survey of 121 computer hardware distributors revealed that distributors commitment to the relationship and their transaction-specific investment would decrease directly the level of withdrawal intention. Other relational dimensions such as the procedural and distributive fairness, the morality of aspiration, and economic dimensions such as the transaction-specific investment made by the supplier and distributors expectations fo future performance increase indirectly the level of withdrawal intension via affecting either trust or commitment. The present study also found that perceived uncertainty and relative dependence might moderate the effects the economic and relational dimensions on distributors intents to leave. Relational dimensions, when compared to economic dimensions, tend to have stronger impacts on withdrawal intentions under high levels of uncertainty and relative dependence.

This study examines the structural relationships between ecotourism village visitors' motivation, value, satisfaction, and loyalty. A self-administered survey was conducted based on 254 visitors to six ecotourism villages. According to the confirmatory factor analysis, there were four underlying dimensions of motivation (relaxation, adventure, nature experience, and learning) and on underlying dimension of value (tourism). According to structural equation modeling, relaxation had a positive effect on economic value, and relaxation and learning had positive effects of functional value. Relaxation had a positive effect on social value. Economic, emotional, and social value had positive effects on ecotourism village visitors' satisfaction, and economic value had the greatest effect on satisfaction. Satisfaction had a positive effect on destination loyalty. The results imply that economic, emotional, and social value played important mediating roles in the relationship between motivation and satisfaction.

The paper deals with the impact of the product distribution and information technology sectors on energy resource use, carbon emissions and economic growth by examining the long-run equilibrium relationships and Granger causal relationships among these variables in South Korea. The quarterly time series data from the first quarter of 1970 to the third quarter of 2010 (163 observations) are collected and retrieved from the Bank of Korea database. The paper examines the long-run equilibrium relationships using cointegration techniques and Granger causality using vector error correction models. Test results indicate a long-run equilibrium relationship exists among these variables. In testing directional causality, both the product distribution and the information technology sectors show direct effects on economic growth but only marginal effects on carbon emissions.

This paper studies the effects of economic development and cultural proximity as common determinants of trade in cultural goods in a dynamic preference selection model. For the empirical analysis, this paper utilizes the gravity framework with importer fixed effects and Poisson pseudo-maximum likelihood estimators. This paper applies the model to Korean export of broadcasting contents to Asian countries. The relative economic development of the export country and the market size of the import country are important determinants of cultural trade, the results of which are generally consistent with traditional goods trade. However, the distance variable does not show much significance, reflecting the unique characteristics of trade in cultural goods.
