  • The purpose of this study is to suggest a strategy of creating sustainable city's streets by extracting a elements related the task related with society, economic, and environment. The method of this study is as follows. First step, we extract main task for developing sustainable settlements through studying literature review. Second step, based on the task for sustainable settlements, we generate various elements for developing sustainable street environments. Third step, we carry out a survey targeting experts related to field of urban environment. Fourth step, we analyze their priority about developing elements and the difference between groups. Last step, through correlation analysis between three task and elements for developing sustainable streets, we discuss the specific application around developing elements. The result of this study is as follows. Firstly, from a social point of view, the task related to connecting of historical and cultural characteristic is the most important thing. In a environmental view, it illustrates that application of technologies based on IT is more important than use of sustainable land. In a economic paint of view, it presents that the elements of city security & disasters are important.

  • Korea's marine products trade is taking for phase that income exceeds export after 2000. According to external environment change of Korea and Japan fishery agreement and an import liberalization of marine products, import of live fish and fresh fish is increasing rapidly. This study investigates import view of Japan live fish and fresh fish. Live fish which is imported from Japan has red seabream and seabass, but it is in declining tendency because of the increase in import of cheaper croaker from the China. If see importer's trend, entry to import business of fresh fish is eased a little. If a circulation trend is seen, However, it is thought that a future import trend is influenced by economic trends of Japan and the grade of place-of-production development of a domestic trader. Circulation market outside is common and the district wholesale store has played the important role. The import view of Japanese live fish and a fresh fish will increase against the background of maintenance of domestic circulation organization, and upgrading of marine product consumption However, it is thought that a future import trend is influenced by economic trends of Japan and the grade of place-of-production development of a domestic trader.

  • This paper was designated to review consumer complaining in the context of consumerism . For the purpose of this study, the literature in the consumer satisfaction/ dissatisfaction, complaining and noncomplaining behavior was reviewed. A conceptual approach to understanding why consumers complain or not when the dissatisfied was presented. It was suggested that regardless of how dissatisfied a consumer is , an action is taken or forgone only after the costs and benefits of the various alternative are considered and an assessment of the probabilities of success are made. It was suggested that aroused citizens through consumer education, government agency's effort to reduce the consumer's dissatisfaction and seller's marketing strategy in the view of consumerism are three main propositions for the enhancement of the consumer's quality of life in this study. Consumer complaining must be made in virtue of national economic systems( standard of living and the effectiveness of its marketing system, extent of government control and provision of consumer assistances) to achieve high levels of efficiency. Besides national economic systems. the third parties must be promoted for the efficient consumer complaining.

  • The proposed system measures business performance by considering both VA(Value-Added), which represents stakeholder's point of view and EVA(Economic Value-Added), which represents shareholder's point of view. To do so, we suggest a business performance scheme which utilizes VA per Capita (Value- Added/Workers) and EVA to Invested Capital(Economic Value-Added /Invested Capital). For effective measurement of business performance, we consider simultaneously not only quantitative financial factors such as VA, EVA and cash flow but also qualitative value drivers such as defect ratio, inventory level, customer satisfaction, enterprise culture and so on. However, we don't consider the qualitative factors due to the limited data. To demonstrate the performance of the system, we conducted a case study using financial data of Korean automobile industry over 16 years from 1981 to 1996, which is taken from database of KISFAS (Korea Investors Services Financial Analysis System).

  • Dust phenomenon is a critical thing in the East Asian countries. However, it is quite recent that Asian dust has drawn much attention and the scientific investigation of dust particles began. In this study, the recognition for Asian-dust in Northeast Asia region was analyzed. • Various problems such as the increase of the power loss and the voltage instability may often occur in the case of low load power factor. The demand of reactive power increases continuously with the growth of active power and the restructuring of electric power companies makes the integrated management of ractive power a troublesome problem, so that the systematic control of load power factor is required. In this paper, the load power factor sensitivity of the generation cost is used for determining the locations of reactive power compensation devices effectively and for enhancing the load power factor appropriately. In addition, the integrated costs are used for determining the value of the load power factor from the point of view of the economic operation. It is shown through the application to a large-scale power system that the system power factor can be enhanced effectively and appropriately using the load power factor sensitivity and integrated costs.

  • Purpose - Taxes cover all aspects of society, especially in terms of resource allocation and economic growth. In reality, the tax revenue is often used to measure the quality of a country's economy. The relationship between tax revenue and economic growth has been paid much attention by academic circles. Due to this background, this paper attempts to investigate the mutual effect between tax revenue and economic growth. Research design, data, and Methodology - The annual datum form 1980 to 2017 are employed to conduct an empirical analysis under the vector error correction model. In this paper, the GDP is treated as an independent variable. The tax revenue is treated as a dependent variable. Furthermore, a menu of statistic approaches will be used to testify the mutual effect between tax revenue and economic growth. Results - Via the co-integration test, the results report that the tax revenue has a positive effect on economic growth in the long run. Through the vector error correction estimation, the results also report that the tax revenue also has a positive effect on economic growth in the short run. Conclusions - This paper provides a view that the tax revenue is a kind of a determinant to promote economic growth. Therefore, the China's government should pay much attention to the improvement of tax revenue system so as to maintain a high-speed economic growth.

  • To date, one of the prevailing criticisms of Daniel Defoe's Robinson Crusoe has seen the adventure novel as a celebration of the rise of mercantile capitalism and the beginnings of colonialism. From this point of view, the Englishman has often been interpreted as an early embodiment of the concept of the sovereign economic subject. Prominent social critics who took up this interpretation have included Karl Marx, Max Weber, and Jean-Jacques Rousseau. Within literary studies proper, the work of Ian Watt offered perhaps the earliest version of this point of view of the novel. Influenced by both Weber and Rousseau, Ian Watt argued that Defoe's wandering protagonist embodies the rise of economic individualism. More recent criticism has tended to challenge this dominant interpretation by laying greater stress on such countervailing factors as Crusoe's mental uncertainty and inner conflict. Drawing inspiration from Fredric Jameson's diagnosis of the ills of late capitalism, this paper analyzes the ways in which Defoe's hero, rather than championing modern rationality, can in fact be seen as suffering from many forms of emotional psychosis. Robinson Crusoe can, after all, be better viewed as a contradictory multi-layered text that, despite its outward valorization of economic individualism, portrays its hero as a victim of negative capitalistic forces, a hero driven by his desire to possess but haunted by a fear of loss, a hero who flaunts inflated feelings of self-worth even as he reveals deflated notions of material insecurity and mental persecution.
