  • The purpose of this study is to examine the perception of early childhood teachers on ecological art activities oriented to education for sustainable development. The research results are as follows. First, Early childhood teachers recognized the visual art of natural media, the pursuit of community values, and the participation and communication of social members as educational significance of ecological art activities. And difficulties in practicing ecological art were recognized as lack of educational environment, lack of ecological art teaching materials and specific examples, and teachers' lack of understanding of ecological art. Also, they recognized that ecological art activities foster core competencies in art experience area, such as nature-friendly communication skills, eco-friendly sensibility, and creative convergence skills. Second, regarding ecological art activities and sustainable development education, early childhood teachers considered the difficulties in practice as lack of awareness about sustainable development, lack of play meia and materials, lack of educational policies and support, and insufficient teacher training programs. Also, regarding the SDGs that can be practiced in ecological art activities, teachers were found to be highly aware of 'grow affordable and clean energy', 'improve clean water and sanitation', 'provide quality education' in the order. In the contents of education for sustainable development that can be practiced in ecological art activities, teachers are given the order of 'climate change response', 'clean energy', 'water and sanitation', 'quality education', 'health and well-being' and 'marine ecosystem'. was highly recognized. If an ecological art activity program is developed, the rate of responding that it will be used is high, so it is considered that the development of an ESD-oriented ecological art activity program is urgent.

  • This purpose of this study was to investigate the influences of environmental education through ecological art education focused on music drama, on the environmental sensitivity of 5th graders in an elementary school in Seoul. A reconstructed questionnaire through Kim(2008)'s test tool was used to the effects of applying an ecological art educational program. The SPSS program was used to analyze the results. The major results of this study are as follows. First, the researcher was able to develop and apply a professor-learning model for the environmental education using the ecological art education focused on music drama by extracting and recreating environment related contents from the 5th grader curriculum. Second, this program had a positive effect on elementary students' environmental sensitivity. Third, according to qualitative results, students appear to be more concerned and interested in the environment and environmental problems in their daily lives. In conclusion, the ecological art program focused on music drama has a positive effect on increasing the environmental sensitivity of 5th graders. Therefore, more intensive research should be conducted, linking teaching and learning methods, as a follow-up activity.

  • Unlike other body arts, body painting illuminates the value of art using eco-friendly formative activity and natural environment and highlights the need of eco-friendly activity. However, although body painting has focused on forming right relationship between human beings and nature, there are few researches which are linked with nature art. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to argue the need to study body painting as nature art in connection with natural environment and analyze body painting according to nature art types. The study methods included both theoretical review and empirical review. The theoretical review examined the concept and characteristics of nature art through previous researches and literature and the empirical review looked into the types and works of nature art and applied them to body painting works. The results were as follows. First, an installation type was possible by arranging and attaching certain materials to the body. Second, a physical type was possible by representing body itself as the part of nature. Third, a symbolic type was possible by making body appearance as a some symbol based on artist's idea. Fourth, a sound type was possible by stimulating auditory hallucination using the nature of objects and sensing a sound. Fifth, an ecological type was possible by conveying the message of living things in nature to the body. Sixth, an interior type was possible by inducing indoor installation of works. Seventh, a poetic type was possible by making one feel a poetic inspiration expressed in nature using the mystery of the sea and a simple sequential pattern of floral leaves. Eighth, a drawing type was possible by adding artist's intentional hand with a pictorical technique. Ninth, a indigenous type was possible by reproducing South American indian's primitive style. The review of this study suggests that body painting works have been expressed in experimental and temporary arrangement like nature art in nature and can be applied according to nine types of nature art.

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study is to investigate the prior art based on deep learning to objectively calculate the metabolic rate which is the subjective factor for the PMV optimum control and to make a plan for future research based on this study. Methods: For this purpose, the theoretical and technical review and applicability analysis were conducted through various documents and data both in domestic and foreign. Results: As a result of the prior art research, the machine learning model of artificial neural network and deep learning has been used in various fields such as speech recognition, scene recognition, and image restoration. As a representative case, OpenCV Background Subtraction is a technique to separate backgrounds from objects or people. PASCAL VOC and ILSVRC are surveyed as representative technologies that can recognize people, objects, and backgrounds. Based on the results of previous researches on deep learning based on metabolic rate for occupational metabolic rate, it was found out that basic technology applicable to occupational metabolic rate calculation technology to be developed in future researches. It is considered that the study on the development of the activity quantity calculation model with high accuracy will be done.

  • Indoor air quality(IAQ) problems are not limited to large office buildings that are inadequately operated. In fact, many school buildings have significant potentials of air pollution and indoor air pollutants may be of particular concern because it is estimated that most young students who are physically weak to the pollutants spend about 90% of their time in classrooms. The goal of the study is to provide academic and architectural information on the major factors that influence indoor air quality in the elementary school. In order to gain a better understanding of IAQ problems in schools, a series of measurement studies of indoor air quality were designed and 3 different elementary school buildings located in Chuncheon were selected. The levels of CO, $CO_2$, and total volatile organic compounds(TVOCs) including formaldehyde(HCHO), major concern of this study, were measured in absence of students after class. As the results, it is noticeable that most indoor air pollution comes from sources inside the building, which are, for example, adhesives, upholstery, manufactured wood products, art and scientific supplies. The level of CO was measured similarly to that of outdoors, which means no impact on the indoor air problems since it is lower than the code. Ventilation played an important role in the level of $CO_2$ of which difference was 1.7 times in rough and 230 % of difference in the level was detected among the 3 school buildings. This concludes that indoor air problems might be result of poor building design with inadequate location of corridors within space organization or occupant activity patterns of ventilation.
