한국자생종 종개 Orthrias toni(Pisces: Balitoridae)의 생활사 (Life History of the Siberian Stone Loach Orthrias toni (Pisces: Balitoridae) in the Buk Stream, Goseong, Korea)

  • 강원도 고성군 북천에서 종개 Orthrias toni의 생활사를 조사하여 생물학적 특징을 밝혔다. 성장은 수온이 $10^{\circ}C$ 이상 되는 4월부터 10월까지 빨랐으나 수온이 $10^{\circ}C$ 이하인 11월부터 이듬해 3월까지는 거의 멈추었다. 연령은 전장빈도분포도로 볼 때 산란기인 5월을 기준으로 전장 60~81 mm는 만 1년생, 82~99 mm는 만 2년생, 100~119 mm는 만 3년생, 120~140 mm는 만 4년생 이상으로 추정되었다. 암컷과 수컷의 연령별 전장 범위는 거의 동일하였고, 성비(♂/♀)는 0.73으로 암컷이 많았다. 산란기는 생식소성숙도(GSI)로 추정한 결과 5월이었으며, 이때의 수온은 $14{\sim}17^{\circ}C$였다. 생식소는 모든 연령이 성숙하였고, 연령이 높아지면서 포란수는 급격히 증가하였으며, 평균 $4,460{\pm}3,302$개였다. 성숙란의 크기는 연령과 상관없이 직경 $0.87{\pm}0.03mm$로 비슷하였다.

건축물 외장재의 사용 현황과 친환경 성능 (Usage Status and Environmental Sustainability Guidelines for Building Exterior Materials)

  • 외장재에 대한 기존의 연구는 디자인 측면에서 계획적인 접근이 많아 외장재의 성능보다 외장재의 색채나 질감 등에 초점을 맞춘 연구가 많았으며 용도에 따른 공학적인 접근에서는 환경과 설비, 화재 구조 등 일반적인 연구 주제들에 국한되어 건물 유형에 적합한 외장재 선정과 성능제시에 관한 연구는 많지 않았다. 물론 최근 환경에 대한 관심이 높아지면서 친환경적인 관점에서 건축물 외장재의 연구가 이루어지고는 있으나 친환경적인 외장재 선택에 대한 실무적인 관점에서의 연구는 초보적인 단계이다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 최근 10여 년간 국내에서 사용된 외장재에 대한 사용 현황을 분석하고 건물용도별 외장재의 특성과 친환경적인 요소를 도출하여 향후 국내 건설업체 및 설계사무소 등이 친환경적이면서 성능이 적합한 외장재를 선택할 수 있도록 기본적인 정보를 제공하고자 하였다. 외장재 사용현황은 정량적인 빈도수 분석, 친환경 성능은 복합적인(정성+정량) 분석을 통하여 이루어 졌다. 조사된 건물의 외장재종류 개수의 평균은 2.59개로 나타났으며 유리, 금속, 석재, 수지, 시멘트, 목재, 점토 순서로 많이 사용되고 있었다. 4개의 친환경 외장재 특성에 의거하여 5종류의 고친환경재료를 선정하였으며 8가지 친환경적인 요소를 제시하였다.

A Natural Hybrid of Intergeneric Mating between a Female Pungtungia herzi and a Male Pseudorasbora parva (Cypriniformes: Cyprinidae)

  • A natural hybrid of a probable intergeneric mating between the striped shiner Pungtungia herzi and the stone morocco Pseudorasbora parva (Cypriniformes: Cyprinidae) was captured in the Geumho River, a tributary of the Nakdong River basin in Korea. Morphological characters and DNA sequences were analyzed to verify its hybrid state and identify the parentage of its parent species. The hybrid exhibited a phenotypic intermediacy between the two parent species in the number of vertebrae and the mouth shape. Out of 1,488 base pair (bp) positions of the nuclear recombination activating gene 1 gene (rag1), which has a biparental mode of inheritance, 41-bp substitutions were detected between the two parent species, whereas an electropherogram of the hybrid displayed polymorphic double peaks at all of the base positions, along with one additional one, strongly indicating its hybrid state. Meanwhile, sequence comparison of the mitochondrial cytochrome b gene (mt-cyb) (1,140 bp), which has a maternal mode of inheritance, showed only 5-22-bp differences (97.6-99.5% identities) between the hybrid and Pu. herzi, but as many as 158-168-bp differences (85.2-86.1% identities) between the hybrid and Ps. parva, clearly indicating Pu. herzi as the maternal species. Thus, combined analyses of independent data sets (i.e., morphology and nuclear and mitochondrial DNA sequences) offered convincing evidence for the hybrid state of a naturally occurring hybrid resulting from intergeneric mating between a female Pu. herzi and a male Ps. parva.

잉크젯 인쇄기술을 이용한 종이 스트레인게이지 개발 (Development of a Paper Strain Gauge using Inkjet-printing Technology)

  • In this paper, eco-friendly paper strain gauge was fabricated in the way of printing strain gauge on paper substrate, using PEDOT:PSS ink and inkjet printer technology. As a p-type conductive high polymer, PEDOT:PSS is known to be piezoresistive effect. I formed a strain gauge by connecting in parallel 5 lines of $60{\mu}m$ width printed with PEDOT:PSS. To minimize surrounding influence such as temperature, I formed wheat-stone bridge by combining 4 strain gauges (quarter-bridge strain gauge) which were made up of PEDOT:PSS 5 lines and measured. In quarter-bridge strain gauge, only two strain gauges, facing each other, arranged in strain and horizontal direction were deformed while the other two strain gauge of vertical direction were not. Therefore, quarter-bridge strain gauge showed the output of half bridge. The fabricated quarter-bridge strain gauge had output sensitivity of $105.6{\mu}V/V{\cdot}mm$ and its output linearity was relatively good.

녹지네트워크의 기능향상을 위한 서울시 중구의 옥상녹화 입지 선정 - 조류를 목표종으로 활용하여 - (Selection of Green-Roofs' Location to Improve Green-Network in Junggu, Seoul - Using a Bird as Target Species -)

  • The subject is to find green roofs' location as stepping stones in green-network in fine scale. The study site is Junggu, Seoul, which has core areas(Bukaksan and Namsan) and green areas(parks, etc.). Through literature review, the closer to core areas and green areas, target species reach green roof easier, and target species must be avifauna(flying species) and high class in food chain, because of possibility of reaching. So, Great Tits, inhabited in Namsan and urban bird, is target species. The location standard of green roofs, realized birds' reaching distance, consists of home range(horizontal range and vertical range) and roof-greening capable area. The green roofs' distribution of location was resulted through GIS analysis of feasible site finding, and classified with weight of score. In discussion, Namsan gives more effect to locate green roofs than Bukaksan does and selected buildings which are grouped in some parts need to be managed with group, green roof district.

한국고유종 동방종개 Iksookimia yongdokensis(Pisces: Cobitidae)의 활동주기 및 섭식생태 (The Activity Period and Feeding Ecology of the Korean Eastern Spined Loach, Iksookimia yongdokensis (Pisces: Cobitidae))

  • 한국고유종 동방종개 Iksookimia yongdokensis의 행동주기와 섭식생태를 밝히기 위해 2015년부터 2016년까지 경상북도 축산천과 곡강천에서 조사를 실시하였다. 동방종개는 수온이 $10^{\circ}C$ 이상 되는 3월부터 11월까지 돌과 자갈, 모래 바닥에서 나와 활동하였지만, $10^{\circ}C$ 이하가 되는 12월부터 이듬해 2월까지는 기질 속으로 파고 들어가 월동하였다. 하루 중에는 오전 9시부터 오후 15시까지 활발한 활동과 높은 섭식량을 보였다. 동방종개는 주로 돌 표면이나 돌 틈, 모래 표층에서 여과섭식을 하였다. 소화관 내용물을 상대중요성지수(IRI)로 분석한 결과, 깔다구과(Chironomidae, 54.7%)와 새각목(Branchiopoda, 10.1%), 윤충강(Rotatoria, 8.7%), 꽃병벌레과 (Arcellidae, 8.6%), 녹조강 (Chlorophyceae, 6.5%), 규조강(Bacillariophyceae, 5.1%) 등의 순서로 높게 나타났다. 당년생 치어는 먹이 크기가 작은 윤충강과 새각목, 꽃병벌레과 등을 많이 섭식하였으나 성장하면서 먹이 크기가 큰 깔다구과와 하루살이목(Ephemeroptera)을 주로 섭식하여 먹이전환을 보였다.

친환경적 설계인자를 적용한 생태복원공사의 시공성 평가 - 거제시 구천천 생태하천 조성공사를 중심으로 - (The Constructability Evaluation of Ecological Restoration Construction Using Environment-friendly Design Factor - In the case of Construction of Gucheon Eco-River in Geoge City -)

  • In this study, constructability of ecologocal stream restoration process was evaluated and improved approaches for habitat were suggested. The study site is Gucheon River in Geoje city where conducted ecologocal restoration work within maintaining its flood control function. Application of ecological design factors and constructability in the process from planning to construction was analyzed and its results are as follows: In the process of planning and designing, it was focused more on the naturality of Gucheon River rather than the human convinience and ecological design factors were applied within the ecological capacity of the site. First, the indexes for constructability evaluation is selected. It was classified into three major categories as construction quality, design quality and construction administration system. Each index has details, so there are twenty sub indexes for contractibility evaluation. Second, the evaluation results shows that the index most in need of improvement was plumbing construction, followed by Stone construction and pavement construction. design concept was evaluated as appropriate in entire categories. Finally it is suggested that it can be improved in both process of design to enhance the technology and process of construction to enhance the quality management. The constructability of ecological stream needs adaptive management and it must be discussed with its designing which is at the stage before construction. Also it needs discussion with its designer constantly and feed-back process.

바이오스톤 볼 수처리 시스템에 의한 오염물질 저감 및 저수지의 수질개선효과 산정 (Estimation of Water Quality Improvement and Reduction of Influent Pollution by Installation of Water Treatment System Filled with Bio-stone Ball)

  • 본 연구에서는 유기성 오염도가 높은 국내 하천 및 호소의 수질정화를 위해 바이오스톤 볼 담체를 이용한 수처리 기술을 개발하였다. 바이오스톤 볼 수처리기술의 오염물질 제거효율 및 저수지 수질개선효과 등을 평가하기 위하여 경기도 시흥시에 위치한 매화저수지에 실증플랜트를 설치하였다. 바이오스톤 볼 수처리시스템의 오염물질 제거효율은 BOD 70.3%(47.2~97.4%), COD 45.3%(26.1~64.7%), TOC 19.2%(8.5~50.0%), SS 82.8%(73.1~92.7%), Chl-a 80.4%(57.2~91.8%), TN 23.2%(6.4~39.5%), TP 51.8%(-1.1~80.1%)로 나타나 BOD, SS, Chl-a에서 평균 70~80% 이상의 매우 높은 정화효율을 나타내었다. 바이오스톤 볼 수처리시스템을 저수지 평시 유입량 설계기준으로 설치하였을 경우의 유입 오염물질 저감량 및 저수지 수질개선효과를 산정하였다. 저감되는 COD 부하량은 13,658 kg으로 연간 39.2%가 저감되고, TP 부하량은 297 kg으로 연간 16.8%가 저감되는 것으로 나타났다. 저수지의 연간 수질개선효과는 TOC $5.3{\rightarrow}4.5mg/L$(14.5%), COD $7.9{\rightarrow}6.8mg/L$(14.5%), Chl-a $42.3{\rightarrow}37.0mg/m^3$(12.5%), T-P $0.201{\rightarrow}0.150mg/L$(25.1%)가 평균적으로 개선되는 것으로 나타났다. 바이오스톤 볼 수처리시스템은 유기성 오염도가 높은 국내 하천 및 호소의 유입수 오염물질 제거 및 수질정화를 위한 수처리 시설로서 현장적용성이 높을 것으로 판단된다.

자연형 소하천의 호안공법별 식생분포 조사 (Vegetation survey in nature-friendly small streams for each protection method)

  • Riparian vegetation distribution patterns and diversity relative to various fluvial geomorphic channel patterns, stream bank stabilization methods, and stream flow processes are described and interpreted for selected nature-friendly small stream bank protection of Goesan, central Korea. Idong Stream Pilot Project, which began in May 2003 and finished in December 2003, was selected to develop effective methods which was nature-friendly stream bank protection. The project aim to maintain or increase stream bank stabilization ecosystem goods and services while protecting downstream and stream bank ecosystem. A number of protecting methods which were a Flight of fieldstone, Vegetation block, Green river block, Stone net, Green environment block, Eco friendly cobble, Vegetation mat and Geo-green cell and Firefly block were applied on the bank of Idong stream. The stream sites have been monitored about vegetation conditions each method in 2007. We selected six points to separately investigate in left and right bank. The main purpose of this study was to find out suitable methods and to improve stream restoration techniques for ecosystem. On the stream bank, H environment block method (9.7) was the highest average of vegetation coverage and Firefly block method (3.87) was the lowest average in applied methods.

재생 굵은 골재를 사용한 재생 콘크리트의 역학적 특성에 관한 실험적 연구 (An Experimental Study on the Mechanical Properties of Concrete with the Contents of Recycled coarse Aggregate)

  • Owing to the deterioration of reconstruction and the construction, much of the construction waste is discharged in our construction field. By supplementing aggregate resources that are insufficient by recycling waste concrete, it is considered that the resource-preserving effect according to the saving and reuse of resource as well as eco-friendly effect that is regarded as important in recent industrial society may be expected. In this study conducted an experiment by setting up 15 levels according to the variations in the rate of substitution of recycled coarse aggregate by the water cement ratio(40, 50, 60%). As the result of it, the slump and air contents was increased by ratio of coarse aggregate, and the elapsed characteristics by the ratio of recycled coarse aggregate showed that there is no clear difference in slump and the air contents. Further, in the characteristics of strength development, the lower the water cement ratio, the higher the compressive strength at early ages, compared with crushed stone, while the compression declined according to the increase of substitution rate of recycled gravel as it was tending upward long-term ages.
