  • Fashion designs reflect the trend of the times embedded within the cultural structures of eastern and western civilizations as well as the traditional styles. However, the motives in fashion designs fundamentally come from human beings' willingness for creation through deep understand of nature or using symbolism and artificial esthetic appreciation. Mankind has expressed their willingness for creation through speculation not with the attitude of conquering nature but by acknowledging the flow between their lives and nature. The purpose of this paper is to investigate human beings' transcendental and embracing attitude toward the natural environment and the human environment in fashion design. In natural environment factors, sublimity toward nature's marvelous powers and the transcending state of mind within happiness and delight or the extreme fear or unavoidable coerciveness and the consequential daunting feelings and smallness, and sorrow all stimulate the will of mental speculation and cause a transcending sublimity. A sublime state of mind does not exist in a superficial framework of enjoyment. It is rather an act of transcendence and embracement residing in a sublime object and leading man's spirit into a state of philosophical thought. Also, in man-made Environment factors, we found from magnanimity we were ability to see the true nature of an era's culture.

  • Nowaday, in Vietnam there are two types of medical services which have coexisted. These are Western medicine or Tay Y and Eastern medicine or Dong Y (this is also known as Oriental medicine). Dong Y is includes Chinese traditional medicine (TCM) or Thuoc Bac and Vietnamese traditional medicine (TVM) or Thuoc nam. In its’ history, Vietnam was dominated by feudal China in more than 1000 years, so that Vietnamese people was impacted much by Chinese thought, culture and medicine of course. Traditional Chinese and Traditional Vietnamese Medicine differ in practice, though they share the same theoretical foundation. Their relationship can be observed by the influence of TCM theories on the TVM which are Yin and Yang, Five Elements. In practice, TCM practitioners usually spend more time giving their patients a sort of theoretical explanation of what's going on, whereas TVM practitioners would use a more practical approach and concentrate less on theory. TVM was popular in common life of working people, generally using ingredients readily available nearby and involving a minimum of processing. Most knowledge was passed unselfconsciously from one generation to the next. It can be said that Vietnamese people are based on theories of TCM and available tropical plant sand animals native to Vietnam to built and develop TVM with it’s own character. The following are some plants are using in normal life of Vietnamese people as food or drink with well-being effect(1,2).

In addition, this paper also has its meaning in a way that it identified how Korean traditional houses have been changed, and thus make residents more comfortable to live there by reviving their past characteristics, and make users have traditional food culture. Targeted area for this paper is limited to south-eastern area of Daegu such as Namsanjung, Myeongchijung, Sijangjung, Shinjung and Dalsungjng which was group dwelling houses of people of Chosun Dynasty during Japanese colonial rule' era ($1910{\sim}1945$). Among those places, the paper has chosen a place where Korea traditional houses were well preserved, variation of road and fields was less 1930s, and residential type is easy to effectively compared. As the result of this research, time when traditional cities were changed into new type of city residential area is believed to be around 1930s, and traditional residential area, through its transitional process, is believed to be changed to modern residential area. It also indicates that change of organizational road and fields directly had influence on change of houses.

  • Joseph S. Nye defined soft power as the power of attraction to affect the behavior of other states through the use of non-coercive instruments including culture, political values and foreign policy. Over the last two decades, environmental issues have grown in importance on the international agenda and become critical components of states' foreign policy-making. This paper aims to analyze environmental foreign policy as a soft power instrument focusing on two major rising powers: China and India. Traditionally, China and India had been reluctant to make any commitments in the field. However, they have shown greater willingness to act in global environmental governance in the past decade. They started playing more active roles in global climate change negotiations and supported a number of initiatives. Their current rise in global environmental governance has even been praised by the international community as the Paris agreement case demonstrated. This study evaluates China's and India's recent efforts in global environmental governance with a focus on climate change negotiations linking their constructive position to their soft power potential. It is argued that environmental issues are used by these two states as foreign policy strategy to gain more influence in international politics. This study finds out that China's climate-related environmental diplomacy has been more ambitious than that of India and thus has been closer to fulfill its potential as a soft power asset.

  • Considerable research has been done on the issue of succession in family businesses. However the process of induction, of preparing the members of the next generation for joining the family business has not been examined in detail. This paper attempts to analyse the relevance of three critical factors - 'quality of relations', 'willingness of the inductee' and 'the ability to manage tensions harmoniously' - to the induction process and the progress of the business. It focuses on the Indian context, specifically in the Small and medium Enterprise (SME) area. Qualitative research has been carried out. The Case Study method is used and data has been gathered from two families (including two branches of one family), using frequent unstructured interviews, over a period of five years. It is concluded that positive impact on business, family and the inductee depends to a large extent on the quality of relations, willingness of the inductee and the ability of both the inductor and inductee to handle and manage the tensions. Thus the findings of the study extend current understanding about succession drivers to the specific context of eastern cultural and developing economy represented by the Indian family businesses in the small and medium enterprise sector.

Toxicologic Pathology, 25: 529-531, 1997. Male and female F344 rats, approximately 19 weeks old, from prechronic toxicity studies performed for NTP/NIEHS over a period of several years at different laboraories located throughout the US. The rats were supplied by 2 different production colonies located in the eastern and western areas of the US. Gross findings ㆍ In some rats the lesions were noted as pale or tan foci in the lungs Microscopic findings ㆍ A prominent increase in perivascular lymphocytes ㆍ A variable increase in the amount of peribronchiolar lymphoid tissues ㆍ Frequently an inflammatory cell exudate within the alveolar spaces ㆍ Focal hyperplasia of alveolar type 2 cells Similar lung lesions were not observed in B6C3F1 mice concurrently on study with affected rats. Similar lung lesions were not observed in F344 rats at the end of 2-year NTP studies. Virus, mycoplasma, bacterial serology, bacterial culture, protozoal identification: negative EM: ㆍ No virus particles were identified. ㆍ Rod shaped bacteria were observed in the alveolar spaces. ㆍ Bacteria were not observed in the bronchi/ bronchioles of rats with alveolar organism.
