This experiment examined the effect of dietary spray-dried bovine colostrum on intestinal histology and organ weights in early-weaned pigs. In a randomised complete block design, twelve 14-day-old weaner pigs were offered a diet containing either 5% spray-dried bovine colostrum or no colostrum (control). Diets were formulated to contain 14.8 MJ/kg DE, 1.26% available lysine and to meet or exceed requirements for other nutrients. Piglets were offered the diets for a period of 14 days. No effect of diet on growth rate or feed intake was observed (p>0.10). Small intestine weight was reduced by 12% in piglets consuming dietary bovine colostrum (p< 0.05). Villous height and crypt depth were increased and decreased, respectively, in the proximal jejunum, mid jejunum and distal ileum of pigs consuming dietary bovine colostrum (p<0.05). Mid-jejunal lamina propria $CD4^+$ and $CD8^+$ T lymphocyte density was increased by 28 and 37%, respectively, in piglets consuming dietary bovine colostrum (p<0.05). Diet did not affect thickness of tunica muscularis externa or tunica submucosa (p>0.10). Collectively, these results suggest a positive effect of dietary bovine colostrum on intestinal morphology and immune status in early-weaned pigs.
The effect of 2% of $P_2O_5$ substituted in gypsum(5 mol% as $HPO_3$) on the early hydration characteristics of $C_3A$ were investigated and then gypsum only and gypsum mixed with $Ca(H_2PO_4)_2$.$H_2O$(2% as $P_2O_5$) were studied separately for comparison. The early hydration reaction of $C_3A$ with each gypsum were examined by measuring the rate of heat libera-tion of hydration with calorimeter and by analysing the hydration products with X-ray diffractometer and differential thermal analyser. It was shown that phosphogypsum substituted with $P_2O_6$ in the crystal lattice accelerated exceedingly the formation of the ettrignite and following hydrated products. However the other gypsum especially gypsum without any phosphate delayed the formation of various hydration products, It was consequently suggested that when phosphogypsum are used as the retarder of cement setting its reta-rding effect for setting of cement is not ascribed to the retardation of ettringite formation.

To examine the effects of light intensity on photosynthesis, corn and sorghum species were grown under shade cloths, which reduced light intensity by 25,50 and 75%. Photosynthetic rates were measured between 10 a.m. to noon on a clear day in early and mid - summer. 1. The degree of shading had a little effect on microenvironment. Air, soil and leaf temperatures were reduced as shade increased. 2. The degree of shading in early summer had relatively a little effect on photosynthesis of corn. However, the rates of photosynthesis in mid-summer decreased by 36%, 55% with relative light intensities of 50% and 25%, respectively. 3. The rate of photosynthesis was highly correlated with light intensity. The rates of photosynthesis with relative light intensities of 75,50 and 25% were decreased by 20, 40 and 5 4% in early summer, and by 17-53%, 36-64% and 5570% in mid-summer, respectively. 4. The 75% of light intensity had relatively little effect on dry matter yield of corn and sorghum species, however dry matter yield with 50 and 25% relative light intensities was decreased 17 and 36% in corn, 13-3 1 and 50-68% in sorghum species, respectively.
Stresses that develop due to differential shrinkage between polymer modified cement mortar (PM) and Portland cement concrete (PCC) in a repaired concrete beam at early ages were investigated. Interface delamination or debonding of the newly cast repair material from the base is often observed in the field when the drying shrinkage of the repair material is relatively large. This study presents results of both experimental and analytical works. In the experimental part of the study, development of the material properties such as compressive strength, elastic modulus, interface bond strength, creep constant, and drying shrinkage was investigated by testing cylinders and beams for a three-week period in a constant-temperature chamber. Development of shrinkage-induced strains in a PM-PCC composite beam was determined. In the analytical part of the study, two analytical solutions were used to compare the experimental results with the analytically predicted values. One analysis method was of an exact type but could not consider the effect of creep. The other analysis method was rather approximate in nature but the creep effect was included. Comparison between the analytical and the experimental results showed that both analytical procedures resulted in stresses that were in fair agreement with the experimentally determined values. It may be important to consider the creep effect to estimate shrinkage-induced stresses at early ages.

Objectives : The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of chuna treatment on cervical sprain caused by traffic accident in early stage. Methods : This study carried out on 20 patients who have received hospital treatment in Daejeon Univ. cheonan Oriental Hospital. Non-chuna group got acupunture-therapy, herbal medication, physical therapy and Chuna group got chuna treatment besides. We measured Heart Rate Variability(HRV) and Visual Analog Scale(VAS) on 2nd, 4th day. Results : After being treated by our methods, Chuna Group showed the inclination to balance the sympathetic and parasympathetic nerve. In chuna group, an autonomic nerve activity showed the inclination to increase. But there were no significant difference between both groups. Chuna group's VAS were significantly decreased(p=0.043). Conclusions : The results suggest that Chuna treatment help traffic accident patients in early stage to reduce pain. Refer to autonomic nerve system, chuna treatment seem to do positive effect but Further long tenn study in a large scale is needed.
In this study, intermediate-mixed powders were prepared by loading zirconia powders initially in a ball-mill jar and loading alumina powders afterward; the initial-mixed powders were produced by loading zirconia and alumina powders together in the ball-mill jar. The effect of such differences in mixing method on the mechanical properties was investigated. In intermediate-mixed powders, the volume fraction of large particles slightly increased and, simultaneously, zirconia particles formed agglomerates that, due to early ball-mill loading of the zirconia powders only, were more dispersed than were the initial-mixed powders. For the intermediate-mixed powders, zirconia agglomerates were destroyed more quickly than were initial-mixed powders, so the number of dispersed zirconia particles rose and the inhibitory effect of densification due to the addition of a second phase was more obvious. In the microstructure of intermediate-mixed powders, zirconia grains were homogeneously dispersed and grain growth by coalescence was found to occur with increasing sintering temperature. For the initial-mixed powders, large zirconia grains formed by localized early-densification on the inside contacts of some zirconia agglomerates were observed in the early stages of sintering. The intermediate-mixed powders had slightly lower hardness values as a whole but higher fracture toughness compared to that of the initial-mixed powders.

This study investigates the effect of nano-silica and nano-calcite on the hydration properties and mechanical performance of limestone calcined clay cement (LC3) paste. The pastes were synthesized by replacing limestone with nano-silica and nano-calcite in order to enhance the mechanical properties in both early and late stages of hydration. The nano-calcite enhanced the strength of LC3 pastes at 1 day of hydration, however, the strength decreased compared to the ordinary LC3 pastes afterwards due to excessive amount of carboaluminate produced in the pastes. On the other hand, nano-silica improved the mechanical properties of LC3 pastes at all ages of hydration. This is mainly due to the nucleation effect and pozzolanic reaction of nano-silica, affecting the early age and late ages of hydration, respectively. The nucleation effect of both nanomaterials were confirmed by the analysis of hydration heat, supporting the enhanced early age strength of nanomaterial incorporated LC3 pastes. Furthermore, the dense matrix was shown in the pore size distribution, and the increased C-S-H due to the pozzolanic reaction evidence the improved compressive and splitting tensile strength of nano-silica incorporated LC3 pastes.
The purpose of this study is to use meta-analysis as a research method to investigate the correlation between early child teachers' teaching efficacy and their job satisfaction, and thereby look into the effect size of the two variables and their sub-variables. To achieve the purpose, this researcher chose a total of 37 theses for analysis and collected 289 data for analyzing the effect size. Based on the data, CMA(Comprehensive Meta Analysis) 2.0 was applied. According to the analysis, the correlation between early childhood teachers' teaching efficacy and their job satisfaction was higher than the medium effect size on the basis of Cohen(1992) research. In the sub-variables of teaching efficacy, the correlation of personal teaching efficacy with job satisfaction showed higher effect size than that of general teaching efficacy. In the sub-variables of job satisfaction, the correlation between the belief in job and teaching efficacy showed the highest effect size. In terms of thesis type as a moderating variable, Ph.D dissertations showed higher effect size than journals or M.A. theses. As the result of the meta-analysis on publishing year and the number of samples, there was no statistical significance. On the basis of the analysis results, discussions and limitations of this study were suggested.

Objective: Estimate genetic parameters, the rate of inbreeding, and the effect of inbreeding on growth and egg production traits of a Thai native chicken breed Lueng Hang Kao Kabinburi housed under intensive management under a tropical climate. Methods: Genetic parameters were estimated for weight measured at four weekly intervals from body weight at day 1 (BW1D) to body weight at 24 weeks (BW24) of age, as well as weight at first egg, age at first egg (AFE), egg weight at first egg, and total number of eggs (EN) produced during the first 17 weeks of lay using restricted maximum likelihood. Inbreeding depression was estimated using a linear regression of individual phenotype on inbreeding coefficient. Results: Direct additive genetic effect was significant for all traits. Maternal genetic effect and permanent environmental hen effects were significant for all early growth traits, expect for BW24. For BW24, maternal genetic effect was also significant. Permanent environmental hen effect was significant for AFE. Direct heritabilities ranged from 0.10 to 0.47 for growth traits and ranged from 0.15 to 0.16 for egg production traits. Early growth traits had high genetic correlations between them. The EN was lowly negatively correlated with other traits. The average rate of inbreeding for the population was 0.09% per year. Overall, the inbreeding had no effect on body weight traits, except for BW1D. An increase in inbreeding coefficient by 1% reduced BWID by 0.09 g (0.29% of the mean). Conclusion: Improvement in body weight gain can be achieved by selecting for early growth traits. Selection for higher body weight traits is expected to increase the weight of first egg. Due to low but unfavorable correlations with body weight traits, selection on EN needs to be combined with other traits via multi-trait index selection to improve body weight and EN simultaneously.
Purpose: The main purpose of this study was to explore the factors that can increase parental loyalty from the perspective of management marketing in order to acquire information on strategies related to early childhood education institutions. Methods: For this purpose, frequency analysis, reliability and validity analysis, correlation analysis, hypothesis testing, and mediating effect analysis were performed using SPSS 22.0. Results: As a result of this study, first, among the sub-factors of relationship benefits, economic benefits, psychological benefits, and customerization benefits were found to have a significant influence on customer value. Second, among the sub-factors of relationship benefits, economic benefits, psychological benefits, and customerization benefits were found to have a significant effect on customer satisfaction. Third, customer value was found to have a significant effect on customer satisfaction. Fourth, customer value was found to have a significant effect on loyalty. Fifth, customer satisfaction was found to have a significant effect on loyalty. Conclusion: The results of this study suggest the necessity and importance of forming a relationship that considers the psychological aspect, economic aspect, and customerization aspect in the relationship with parents who use early childhood education institutions. This study sets the relational benefit as an independent variable among the variables of management marketing as a factor that affects loyalty, identifies the relationship between the variables through customer value and customer satisfaction, and intends to use it as basic data for qualitative improvement of educational institutions for infants and toddlers.
