터널용 전기집진시스템 개발을 위한 방전극 설계 (Study on Discharge Electrode Design applied for Road Tunnel)

  • As Social Overhead Capital(SOC) has been expanded, the highway road construction has been accelerated and city road system has been more complicated. So, long road tunnels have been increased and traffic flow rate also has been raised. Accordingly, the exhausting gas of vehicle cars seriously deteriorates the tunnel inside air quality and driving view. In order to improve tunnel inside air quality, it is needed to introduce a compulsory ventilation system as well as natural ventilation mechanism. The former, that is, a special compulsory ventilation facility is very useful and helpful to prevent a tunnel of being contaminated by traffic in most case. In the case of obtaining clearer and longer driving view, the ventilation systems have to be considered in order to remove floating contaminants or exhaust gas from engines. In this paper, discharge electrode design technology will be discussed.

  • Double facade systems are often paid attention of as an effective energy saving measure for curtain wall buildings. However, it is not easy to install the system in existing buildings and requires substantial investment. An innovative double window system is proposed in this study which can be installed with exiting window systems in a cost effective way. the proposed system is connected to existing return ducts to make airflow between the existing window and the newly installed window. To ensure the best performance of the proposed system, simulation-based analysis was implemented in which airflow characteristics of inside double window were examined according to air pressures of return duct and window material by using computer simulation ESP-r. the overview of the proposed system and the results of the simulation-based analysis are presented in this paper.

LED램프를 적용한 사무소 건물의 실내조명환경 및 에너지 성능분석 (Interior Light Environment and Building Energy Performance Analysis of LED Lamp Installed in Office Building)

  • 본 논문은 LED 램프를 사무소 건물에 효과적으로 사용하기 위하여 새로운 통합적 에너지 시뮬레이션을 수행한 연구 결과이다. 일반적으로 LED 램프는 다른 램프에 비하여 에너지 절감효과가 매우 우수하지만 현재 형광램프보다 낮은 광속과 좁은 광분포 등 아직 사무소 건물에 적용하기는 다각적인 검토가 필요하다. 연구결과 냉난방에너지가 20[%] 증가하고 현재 형광등을 대체하기 위해서는 90[lm/$m^2$] 이상으로 설계해야 한다. 따라서 LED램프를 사무소 건물에 적용하기 위해서 광에너지, 냉난방에 미치는 영향 및 사무실환경에 미치는 광분포를 통합적으로 해석하였으며 앞으로 이 결과는 LED 램프를 통한 효과적인 에너지절약 환경을 구축하는 데 중요한 자료를 제공할 것으로 확신한다.

제로에너지 솔라하우스의 난방/급탕용 태양열 시스템 설계 및 분석 (Active Solar Heating System Design and Analysis for the Zero Energy Solar House)

  • This study is on the design and evaluation of Zero Energy Solar House(ZeSH) including active solar heating system. Various innovative technologies such as super insulation, passive solar systems, super window, ventilation heat recovery system...etc were analyzed by individual and combination for the success of ZeSH. The ESP-r simulation program was used for this. Simulation results shows that almost 77% of heating load can be reduced with the following configuration of 200mm super insulation, super windows, passive solar system and 0.3 ventilation rate per hour. Active solar heating system (ASHS) was designed for the rest of the heating load including hot water heating load. The solar assisted heat pump is used for the auxiliary heating device in order to use air conditioner but not included in this study. The yearly solar fraction is 87% with a solar collector area of $28m^2$. The parametric studies as the influence of storage volume and collector area on the solar fraction was analyzed.

경남지역 가금류 도축장 신선육에서 분리한 Salmonella spp.와 Enterococcus faecalis의 독성인자 보유 패턴 분석 (Analysis of virulence gene profiles of Salmonella spp. and Enterococcus faecalis isolated from the freshly slaughtered poultry meats produced in Gyeong-Nam province)

  • In order for monitoring of pathogenic bacterial contamination in the freshly slaughtered poultry meats produced in Gyeong-Nam province, we first isolated 4 strains of Salmonella spp. and 32 strains of Enterococcus faecalis from the total 164 samples, then we analyzed potential virulence gene profiles of the bacterial isolates by PCR using species-specific primer. The potential virulence genes we selected in this study were stn, invA, fimA, spvR, and spvC for the isolates of Salmonella spp. and those of esp, cylM, cylA, cylB, gelE, fsrA, fsrB, and fsrC were for the isolates of E. faecalis. The PCR results showed that all 5 virulence genes were detected simultaneously in the all isolates of Salmonella spp. However, there was a diverse occurrence pattern of the virulence genes in the case of E. faecalis. The gene for enterococcal surface protein (esp) was not detected among the isolates (0/32), and the haemolysin gene prevalence rate of cylA, cylB, and cylM were 3.1% (1/32), 9.3% (3/32), and 9.3% (3/32), respectively. Moreover, the genes of gelE, fsrA, fsrB, and fsrC that associated with gelatinase activity were detected in the rate of 53.1% (17/32), 53.1% (17/32), 53.1% (17/32), and 53.1% (17/32), respectively. In conclusion, in the isolates of Salmonella spp., all possessed 5 virulence genes tested, suggesting that they are all related with each other clonally. However, in the case of E. faecalis isolates, the occurrence of the haemolysin genes (cylM, cylA, cylB) and the gelatinase genes (gelE, fsrABC) was highly variable among the isolates.

관상동맥질환에서 심장풀스캔을 이용한 최고수축기혈압-수측기말용적곡선의 분석 (The Peak Systolic Pressure-End Systolic Volume Index Relation in Patients with Coronary Artery Disease Using Radionuclide Gated Blood Pool Scintigraphy)

  • For measurement of ventricular performance, ejection fraction (EF) has gained wide acceptance. But EF is influenced not only by changes in muscle function but also by changes in cardiac loading conditions. In case of valvular heart disease which is variable in loading conditions, EF cannot be reliable as an index of myocardial contractility. The end systolic pressure (ESP)-end systolic volume (ESV) relation, howver, is known to represent myocardial contractility, independent of changes in loading conditions. Similar results can be obtained by using peak-systolic pressure (PSP) instead of ESP. To evaluate the utility of the peak systolic pressure-end systolic volume index (PSP-ESVI) relation as an index of myocardial function, we measured $PSP&ESVI$ in 19 partents with coronary artery disease before $(PSP_1\;&\;ESVI_1)$ and after $(PSP_2\;&\;ESVI_2)$ sublingual administration of nitroglycerin. PSP was measured with standard mercury sphygmomanometer during gated blood pool scintigraphic study. ESVI was measured by count derived method after attenuation correction. $PSP_2\;&\;ESVI_2$ measurement was started when the fall of PSP was greater than 5 mmHg after 7-14 minutes post-administration of nitroglycerin. Mean values $({\pm}S.D.)$ of $PSP_1\;&\;ESVI_1$ was $124.9({\pm}20.7)mmHg\;&\;59.4({\pm}39.9)ml/M^2$. Mean values $({\pm}S.D)$ of $PSP_2\;&\;ESVI_2$, was $113.2({\pm}19.9)mmHg\;&\;37.5({\pm}26.1)ml/M^2$. There was a significant difference between mean values of $PSP_1\;&\;PSP_2$, (p<0.01), and mean values of $ESVI_1\;&\;ESVI_2$, (p<0.01). $PSP_1-PSP_2/ESV_1-ESVI_2,\;PSP_1/ESVI_1$ and EF were in the range of 0.14-5.19 mmHg/ml/$M^2$, 0.67-7.68 mmHg/ml/$M^2$ and 10.8%-74.5% respectively. $PSP_1-PSP_2/ESVI_1-ESVI_2$, and EF showed exponential correlation (r=0.85, P<0.01). The correlation coefficient between $PSP_1/ESVI_1$ and EF was 0.73(p<0.01). With the above results, we suggest that $PSP_1-PSP_2/ESVI_1-ESVI_2$, and $PSP_1/ESVI_1$, can be used as an index of myocardial function.

MTSAT-1R 휘도온도를 이용한 낙뢰발생 특성 분석 및 예측 (Characteristics of Brightness Temperature from MTSAT-1R on Lightning Events and Prediction over South Korea)

  • 낙뢰 발생에 따른 휘도온도 특성을 분석하기 위하여 MTSAT-1R 수증기와 적외 1채널에서 추정된 휘도 온도를 사용하여 낙뢰 발생 유무에 따른 휘도온도 특성을 분석하였다. 비(非) 낙뢰시 두 채널간의 휘도온도 차이가 큰 반면, 낙뢰가 발생했을 때 두 채널의 휘도온도가 225 K과 205 K 부근에서 2번의 최대 극대가 나타나며 휘도온도 차이가 0에 수렴하였다. 또한 낙뢰가 발생할 시에 두 채널간의 휘도온도 차이를 이용하여 Machado et al., (2008)이 남미지역에 제시한 확률적인 낙뢰빈도 예보법이 남한지역에도 적용 가능함을 보였다. 낙뢰 발생 시에 나타나는 위성 휘도온도의 분포를 및 특성을 이용하여 최근 5년(2002-2006)간 낙뢰활동이 가장 왕성했던 2006년 06월 10일의 사례에 적용한 결과, 기본적인 종관장 분석 자료 및 다중 채널 (수증기, 적외)간의 휘도온도 및 그 차이를 종합적으로 활용할 때 낙뢰 예측성의 향상 가능성을 확인하였다. 이러한 위성 자료를 이용한 낙뢰 분석은 MTSAT-1R과 유사하고 2009년 말에 발사 예정인 통신해양기상 위성 (COMS)의 악기상 활용성을 증대시키는데 도움이 될 것이다.

연도별 기상데이터를 활용한 건물의 냉.난방부하 특성 비교 (Comparative Studies on Heating and Cooling Loads' of a Building Varied by Annual Weather Data)

  • 본 연구는 건물에너지 효율 향상을 위한 목적으로 기상데이터 변화에 따른 건물 냉 난방부하량을 예측하고 결과를 비교 분석한 것으로, 연구 성과는 다음과 같다. 1)기상청에서 입수데이터를 평가툴인 ESP-r에 활용할 수 있도록 항목별 기상데이터를 개발하였다. 표준기상 데이터의 외기온도, 습도, 풍속은 대부분의 경우 기상청데이터 보다 크거나 높았다. 수평면전일사량은 기상청데이터가 높았고, 직달일사량은 겨울철에는 표준기상데이터가, 여름철에는 기상청데이터가 많은 것으로 나타났다. 2)대학교 캠퍼스 내에 신축된 후생복지관을 대상으로 한 시뮬레이션 결과, 최대난방부하의 경우 표준년도, 2006년, 2009년이 비슷한 반면 2007년은 표준년도 대비 81%, 2008년은 96% 수준이었고, 연간난방부하는 2006년, 2008년의 순으로 난방수요가 많았다. 한편, 냉방부하의 경우에는, 상대적으로 최대냉방부하가 큰 2007년, 2009년의 연간 냉방부하보다 최대냉방부하가 가장 적은 2008년의 연간냉방부하가 더 큰 결과를 보였다. 3)냉 난방기기의 상당시간가동률을 평가한 결과, 표준년도의 최대부하대비 상당시간가동률은 2006~2009년이 표준년도에 비해 대부분 가동률이 낮았다.

전자식 X-Y 이축 가속도 센서를 이용한 오프셋 및 경사 충돌에 대한 충돌 판별 성능 개선에 관한 연구 (A Study on Improvement of Crash Discrimination Performance for Offset and Angular Crash Events Using Electronic X-Y 2-Axis Accelerometer)

  • In today's design trend of vehicle structure, crush zone is fiequently reinforced by adding a box-shaped sub-frame in order to avoid an excessive deformation against a high-speed offset barrier such as EU Directive 96/97 EC, IIHS offset test. That kind of vehicle structure design results in a relatively monotonic crash pulse for airbag ECU(Electronic Control Unit) located at non-crush zone. As for an angular crash event, the measured crash signal using a single-axis accelerometer in a longitudinal direction is usually weaker than that of frontal barrier crash. Therefore, it is not so easy task to achieve a satisfactory crash discrimination performance for offset and angular crash events. In this paper, we introduce a new crash discrimination algorithm using an electronic X-Y 2-axis accelerometer in order to improve crash discrimination performance especially for those crash events. The proposed method uses a crash signal in lateral direction(Y-axis) as well as in longitudinal direction(X-axis). A crash severity measure obtained from Y-axis acceleration is used to improve the discrimination between fire and no-fire events. The result obtained by the proposed measure is logically ORed with an existing algorithm block using X-axis crash signal. Simulation and pulse injection test have been conducted to verify the performance of proposed algorithm by using real crash data of a 2,000cc passenger vehicle.

착의량별 실내설정온도에 따른 난방에너지 및 온실가스 저감량 산정 연구 (A Study on Estimating Reduction of Heating Energy and CO2 by Indoor Setting Temperature with Clo)

  • The studies for mechanical performance development have been examined to reduce energy consumption in building construction field. However, The energy consumption using in building for heating is impacted by not only system performance but also PMV particularly at temperature and clo. Most energy using in building part is mainly consumed for heating and cooling to keep comfort temperature. Heating energy consumption is bigger than cooling energy in Korea because of temperature difference in winter in comparison with summer at apartment building. This means that energy consumption can be changed by occupancy's comfort setting temperature in apartment building. This study evaluate actual comfort temperature range by clo and examined heating energy consumption by Esp-r and CO2 reduction possibility. The results show that keeping ASHRAE standards can reduce heating energy up to 23%; also, wearing underclothes with ASHRAE standard can reduce heating energy up to 47.8%. Option 4 showing Maximum CO2 emission reduction indicates that kerosene. LNG and electricity can reduce 1.5t, 1.7t, 2.46t respectively in comparison with option 2.
