S(Synchrous)-DMT(Discrete Multi Tone) is an emerging cable modem technology applicable to the upstream channel for high speed multimedia communication. In this paper we analyze the transmitting and receiving process of S-DMT scheme and derive bit error probability of S-DMT scheme in the $\varepsilon$-mixture impulse noise model which appropriately reflects impulse noise model which approproately reflects impulse noise characteristics of upstream channel. The analysis results show a good match with the simulation results. We also compare Eb/No gain performance of S-DMT with TDMA in 16-, 32-, 64-QAM.

Ethylbenzene (EB) which has a similar physical properties with p-xylene (pX) was separated from EB/pX mixture by using MFI-type zeolite (TS-1, ZSM-5, and Silicalite-1) coated membranes. The zeolites were synthesized by microwave method to reduce the synthesis time and uniformly formed zeolite particles were coated on the ${\alpha}$-almina tubular support with a thickness of $3-4{\mu}m$. Separation factor and permeation flux of the synthesized zeolite coated membranes were measured to survey the best performance of ethylbenzene separation from different composition of EB/pX mixtures. When the EB/pX mixture of 5:5 molar ratio applied for the separation experiment, it represented the highest separation factor. We also have studied about the effect of the atomic composition of zeolites on the separation performance within the temperature range from 160 to $220^{\circ}C$. TS-1 showed the highest permeation flux of $1,666mol/m^{2*}s^*Pa$ and Silicate-1 showed the highest separation factor of 1.73 at $200^{\circ}C$ respectively.

Microsoft사의 BizTalk Server는 전통적 EDI, XML/EDI 및 향후 보편화 될 ebXML 등 거의 모든 전자 상거래 표준을 지원하며, 또한 기업의 내부 시스템과 B2B 전자상거래와의 통합할 수 있는 EAI(Enterprise Application Integration) 시스템이다. 본 논문에서는 XML/EDI 시스템 및 BizTalk Framework에 대해 조사하고, 현재 건설회사에서 사용중인 시스템들의 문제점을 파악하여 이러한 문제점을 해결하기 위해 Microsoft사의 BizTalk Server를 이용한 XML/EDI 시스템을 설계하고 구현한 방법을 소개한다.

To effectively adopt individual customer's preference and actively adapt change of business situation, suppose an architecture of the system which include information categorization using user's preference. In the experimental results, it is found that information providing system implemented by this idea is more flexible than existing systems in extension of usage of information and goes beyond the traditional models.

신뢰할 만한 소지역 통계 작성을 위한 다양한 소지역 추정 기법들이 최근 많은 관심속에 개발되고 있다. 이 논문은 다양한 소지역 추정 기법들 중 일부 기법들에 대한 간략한 소개 및 실례를 제시한다. 먼저 대표적인 소지역에 대한 간접추정법인 인구통계학적 방법, 합성추정법과 복합추정법에 관한 이론 및 추정절차를 살펴보았고, 모형 기반 추정법으로써 경험적 베이즈(EB) 추정법과 계층적 베이즈(HB) 추정법을 소개하였다. 마지막으로 합성추정법과 복합추정법을 이용하여 충북의 시군구 실업자 추정에 적용해 보았고, 시군구 실업자 추정결과를 직접 추정법의 결과와 비교하였다.

PDF(Portable Document Format)와 XML(eXtensible Markup Language). 전자문서의 표준으로 서로 다른 방법론을 갖고 출발한 양 진영의 대결은 여전히 계속되고 있다. 최근 한국어도비시스템즈는 더욱 강력하고 새로운 기능들로 무장한 '애크로뱃(Acrobat)6.0'을 발표하면서 전자문서 시장에 대한 공세를 강화하고 있다. 이에 질세라 XML 진영에서는 ebXML, 로제타넷 등 XML 기반 응용솔루션에 대한 개발 및 영업에 더욱 박차를 가함으로써 부가가치 높이기에 적극적이다.

도막의 건조는 용액의 조건, 설비특성, 제품의 요구특성에 맞게 다양하게 적용되고 있다. 일반적으로 열풍에 의한 건조방식이 적용되고 있으나 Induction Heater, UV, EB 및 NIR방식 등 다양한 건조방식이 적용되고 있다. 여기서는 건조방법중 NIR에 의한 건조방식을 이용하여 품질특성에 미치는 인자를 검토하였다.

The frequency and severity of traffic accidents related to signalized intersections in urban areas have been more serious than those in both arterial segments and crosswalks. Especially, traffic accidents involved with injuries and fatalities have caused by traffic signal violations within intersections. Therefore, many countries including Korea have installed the red light enforcement camera (RLE) to reduce traffic accidents associated with the traffic signal violation. Meanwhile, many methodologies have been studied in terms of safety impacts estimation of red light enforcement, which, however, cannot be easy to conduct. In this study, safety impacts was estimated for intersections of Chicago downtown area using SPF models and EB approach. As a result, for all crash types and target traffic accident types such as "angle", "rear end", "sideswipe in the same and other directions", "turn", and "head on", fatal crashes were reduced by 26% and 38%. However, RLE may increase property-demage-only-crashes by 3.23% and 1.16%, respectively.
