  • A study on the salmonella pullorum was carried out on 15, 000 hens of breeding chicken, when examined using pullorum antigens, and 165eggs from the isolated breeding to 35among 171carriers used in o serums in Chonnam area during the period from November 22 to December 20, 1982 The results are summarized as follows 1. Distribution on the carriers of pullorum disease was investigated 171 carriers (1.1%) among 15, 000 hens examined. 2. A majority (33.3%) of group D(transovarian transmission) was observed by classification of salmonella groups in the order of group OB (18.8%), group E(18.2%), group $C_1, C_2$ (each 15.2%~), and group OA (12.7%)

  • We want to find a timestamping method which improves efficient performance and have high-level security to send secured messages in the digital signature and the law of e-commerces. Our paper shows a H-binary tree of time stamp to use a time stamp protocol with high security and performance in the packets of sending messages. We implement and analyze the protocols, show to compare with previous RSA methods. Our proposed protocol has O(log n) time complexity and high-performance.

  • In this paper, I seek to differentiate the meaning of the auxiliary verb '-e ka-' from imperfective aspect in Korean. The progressive in imperfective is expressed by the 'be+V-ing' in English and '-ko iss-' in Korean. However the '-e ka-' in Korean can express the gradual progress meaning. This is similar to the progressive of some state verbs. These verbs cannot express the progressive aspect but it is possible if they can express the change of state in sentence. It is more corresponding to the '-e ka-' than '-ko iss-' in Korean.

  • In this paper we present a method of circular arc approximation by quartic B$\acute{e}$zier curve. Our quartic approximation method has a smaller error than previous quartic approximation methods due to the alternation of the error function of our quartic approximation. Our method yields a closed form of error so that subdivision algorithm is available, and curvature-continuous quartic spline under the subdivision of circular arc with equal-length until error is less than tolerance. We illustrate our method by some numerical examples.

  • Polyacrylonitrile-based carbon nanofibers (CNFs) containing Ti and Mn were prepared by electrospinning. The effect of metal content on the hydrogen storage capacity of the nanofibers was evaluated. The nanofibers containing Ti and Mn exhibited maximum hydrogen adsorption capacities of 1.6 and 1.1 wt%, respectively, at 303 K and 9 MPa. Toward the development of an improved hydrogen storage system, the optimum conditions for the production of metalized CNFs were investigated by characterizing the specific surface areas, pore volumes, sizes, and shapes of the fibers. According to the results of Brunauer-Emmett-Teller analysis, the activation of the CNFs using potassium hydroxide resulted in a large pore volume and specific surface area in the samples. This is attributable to the optimized pore structure of the metal-containing polyacrylonitrile-based electrospun CNFs, which may provide better sites for hydrogen adsorption than do current adsorbates.
