도서관 이러닝 플랫폼 사례분석 연구 - 학습 내용 및 기능을 중심으로 - (Research on Case Analysis of Library E-learning Platforms: Focusing on Learning Contents and Functions)

  • 본 연구는 도서관의 이러닝 플랫폼 구축을 위한 주요 학습 내용과 기능 및 활성화 방안을 제안하고자 문헌연구와 사례분석 및 전문가 조사를 진행하였다. 문헌연구에서 도서관이 이러닝 생태계에 있는 이용자를 위해 질 높은 온라인 교육을 제공해야 함을 알 수 있었으며 선행연구를 통해 도서관의 이러닝 플랫폼 분석을 위한 학습기능 분석 도구를 도출하였다. 이를 기반으로 국내외 도서관 이러닝 플랫폼들의 학습 내용과 기능 및 특징을 분석하였으며 전문가 설문 조사 및 인터뷰를 수행하였다. 분석결과, 도서관의 지속 가능한 이러닝 서비스를 위해 학습 과정과 기술을 효과적으로 적용할 수 있는 플랫폼의 구축이 필수적이며 제공해야 할 학습 내용은 관 종에 상관없이 공통적으로 독서교육, 정보활용교육, 도서관이용교육, IT 최신기술 소개 등 도서관교육의 특성을 나타내는 주제가 도출되었다. 주요한 학습기능으로는 학습유형 중 영상강의와 실시간 수업을 진행할 수 있어야 하며 학습자료와 이용 가이드를 제공할 수 있는 학습활동지원 기능, 교육내용을 저장하고 공유할 수 있는 클라우드 플랫폼 지원 기능, 생애주기 맞춤형 콘텐츠를 제공할 수 있는 개인화 환경 지원 기능 등을 제시하였다. 또한, 도서관 사서의 기술력 향상을 위한 재교육, 이러닝 관련 팀의 구성과 전문사서의 도입을 제안하였다.

Web Hypermedia Resources Reuse and Integration for On-Demand M-Learning

  • The development of systems that can generate automatically instructional material is a challenging goal for the e-learning community. These systems pave the way towards large scale e-learning deployment as they produce instruction on-demand for users requesting to learn about any topic, anywhere and anytime. However, realizing such systems is possible with the availability of vast repositories of web information in different formats that can be searched, reused and integrated into information-rich environments for interactive learning. This paradigm of learning relieves instructors from the tedious authoring task, making them focusing more on the design and quality of instruction. This paper presents a mobile learning system (Mole) that supports the generation of instructional material in M-Learning (Mobile Learning) contexts, by reusing and integrating heterogeneous hypermedia web resources. Mole uses open hypermedia repositories to build a Learning Web and to generate learning objects including various hypermedia resources that are adapted to the user context. Learning is delivered through a nice graphical user interface allowing the user to navigate conveniently while building their own learning path. A test case scenario illustrating Mole is presented along with a system evaluation which shows that in 90% of the cases Mole was able to generate learning objects that are related to the user query.

QoE 향상을 위한 Deep Q-Network 기반의 지능형 비디오 스트리밍 메커니즘 (An Intelligent Video Streaming Mechanism based on a Deep Q-Network for QoE Enhancement)

  • With recent development of high-speed wide-area wireless networks and wide spread of highperformance wireless devices, the demand on seamless video streaming services in Long Term Evolution (LTE) network environments is ever increasing. To meet the demand and provide enhanced Quality of Experience (QoE) with mobile users, the Dynamic Adaptive Streaming over HTTP (DASH) has been actively studied to achieve QoE enhanced video streaming service in dynamic network environments. However, the existing DASH algorithm to select the quality of requesting video segments is based on a procedural algorithm so that it reveals a limitation to adapt its performance to dynamic network situations. To overcome this limitation this paper proposes a novel quality selection mechanism based on a Deep Q-Network (DQN) model, the DQN-based DASH ABR($DQN_{ABR}$) mechanism. The $DQN_{ABR}$ mechanism replaces the existing DASH ABR algorithm with an intelligent deep learning model which optimizes service quality to mobile users through reinforcement learning. Compared to the existing approaches, the experimental analysis shows that the proposed solution outperforms in terms of adapting to dynamic wireless network situations and improving QoE experience of end users.

  • Recently the information system introduction and the application which use the computer are increasing. The efficient operation of information system helps corporations to improve productivity, customer service and corporate competitive power. SaaS(Software as a Service), which is the developed type of outsourcing in the area of information technology, is to use standardized and packaged application by hosting from the outside of enterprise. SaaS is not developed yet as much as people's interest about that in the initial stage, but its related technology and service capacity are accumulated after repeated trial and error, and it's ready to activate the industry. In the area of information system, studies on the measurement of service quality were followed. But there is little study on service quality measurement in the field of SaaS(Software as a Service). The purpose of this study was to divides the SaaS with e-SERVQUAL and it consider the relationship with the perceived recognition and the usage intention. According to this, variables of traditional research were rejected because SaaS is not developed yet in Korea. But information had a strong effect on perceived recognition. Therefore, business related with in SaaS must have provided a correct information about various applications.

  • HoQ (House of Quality) provides an effective tool not only to arrange and evaluate VoC (Voice of Customers) and VoE (Voice of Engineers), but also to link and combine VoC and VoE, thereby presenting explicit directions for quality improvement. There have been, however, few researches on the HoQ framework in the IT industry. The case study discussed here serves an illustration of the applicability and usefulness of the HoQ approach to website quality improvement. The proposed HoQ framework shows great potentials since customers needs are explicitly considered in the framework, and it helps website administrators develop better web services by providing guidelines for reengineering the website operations.

  • 이 논문에서는 국제 학습 콘텐츠 표준인 SCORM을 지원하는 공개 소프트웨어 기반의 학습관리 시스템을 구축하기 위해, 기존 학습 관리 시스템을 비교 분석하여 무들(Moodle)을 선정하였고 학사관리시스템, 스트리밍서비스 등의 기존 시스템들과 연동 운용함으로써, 공개 소프트웨어 기반 학습관리 시스템의 현실적 가능성을 보였다. 공개 학습 관리 시스템인 무들은 모듈화 구조를 수용해 사용의 편의성과 확장성을 충분히 제공하고 있으며, SCORM지원을 원활하게 하고 있다. 또한, 사회적 구성주의 학습 이론을 기반으로 설계, 구현되어 있다는 중요한 장점을 갖고 있다. 이 연구는 학습 관리 시스템을 포함한 공개S/W 기반 e-Learning시스템 구축이 안정적으로 가능하다는 것을 보였다.

전문대학 우수교수학습센터의 홈페이지 분석 (Analysis on the Websites of College's Teaching and Learning Center of Quality)

  • 국내 전문대학 우수교수학습센터의 홈페이지를 분석하였다. 우수교수학습센터란 한국전문대학교육협의회에서 2010년부터 3년간 선정한 9개의 교수학습센터를 말한다. 대체로 홈페이지의 구성은 센터소개, 교수지원, 학습지원, 이러닝지원, 서비스, 매체지원, 자료실, 커뮤니티 등으로 구성되어있으며, 전문대학 우수교수학습센터 홈페이지의 유사점과 차이점 및 특이점을 홈페이지 메뉴 및 활성화 정도에 따라 확인하고 분석한다. 현재 활성화를 위해 노력하고 있는 전문대학 교수학습센터들의 홈페이지가 가져야 할 기능들과 방향을 제시하고자 한다.

Prediction of concrete compressive strength using non-destructive test results

  • Concrete which is a composite material is one of the most important construction materials. Compressive strength is a commonly used parameter for the assessment of concrete quality. Accurate prediction of concrete compressive strength is an important issue. In this study, we utilized an experimental procedure for the assessment of concrete quality. Firstly, the concrete mix was prepared according to C 20 type concrete, and slump of fresh concrete was about 20 cm. After the placement of fresh concrete to formworks, compaction was achieved using a vibrating screed. After 28 day period, a total of 100 core samples having 75 mm diameter were extracted. On the core samples pulse velocity determination tests and compressive strength tests were performed. Besides, Windsor probe penetration tests and Schmidt hammer tests were also performed. After setting up the data set, twelve artificial intelligence (AI) models compared for predicting the concrete compressive strength. These models can be divided into three categories (i) Functions (i.e., Linear Regression, Simple Linear Regression, Multilayer Perceptron, Support Vector Regression), (ii) Lazy-Learning Algorithms (i.e., IBk Linear NN Search, KStar, Locally Weighted Learning) (iii) Tree-Based Learning Algorithms (i.e., Decision Stump, Model Trees Regression, Random Forest, Random Tree, Reduced Error Pruning Tree). Four evaluation processes, four validation implements (i.e., 10-fold cross validation, 5-fold cross validation, 10% split sample validation & 20% split sample validation) are used to examine the performance of predictive models. This study shows that machine learning regression techniques are promising tools for predicting compressive strength of concrete.

자기주도형 중환자간호 이러닝 프로그램 개발 및 적용 (Development and Implementation of a Self-directed Critical Care Nursing e-Learning Program)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to develop a self-directed e-learning program for ICU nurses and to evaluate how the proposed e-learning program affects the level of knowledge, nursing performance and job satisfaction of ICU nurses. Methods: The e-learning program was developed with the Computer Assisted Instruction Design Model using sources of self-efficacy which included the inactive attainment, vicarious experience, and verbal persuasion of ICU nurses. The program was evaluated by experts. Following the revision of the program, it was applied to a total of 59 ICU nurses (experimental group n=29, control group n=30) from three hospitals. Four weeks later, we measured the level of knowledge, nursing performance and job satisfaction. Results: The level of knowledge significantly improved in the experimental group (t=5.691, p<.001). Moreover, the level of nursing performance significantly increased in the areas of circulatory diagnostic test (t=2.143, p=.039), EKG (t=2.911, p=.006), aortic balloon pump (t=2.491, p=.017), and nebulizer therapy (t=2.085, p=.044). Overall, job satisfaction did not significantly increase (t=1.664, p=.105); however, job satisfaction in terms of relationships with coworkers (t=2.371, p=.023) and the needs of nursing performance (t=2.940, p=.006) were significantly increased. Conclusion: The results showed that the proposed e-learning program using sources of self-efficacy from ICU nurses was an effective learning method to increase the level of knowledge and nursing performance. The propose de-learning program would be a useful teaching tool for ICU nurses improving the quality of ICU patient care.

  • 최근 산업현장 뿐 아니라 일반가정에서도 고도의 자동화 및 정보화 기기의 사용이 급증하고 있어, 전력품질의 고급화가 그 어느 때보다 절실히 요구되고 있다. 이 요구를 만족시키기 위하여 전력품질 향상을 위한 노력이 필요하다 이를 위해서는 전력품질을 측정하고 분석하는 기기의 개발과 함께 이를 운영하는 인력의 양성이 무엇보다 중요하다. 본 논문에서는 전력품질 분석기술 인력양성을 위한 방안의 하나로 인터넷을 이용하여 어느 곳에서나 현장실습과 같은 효과를 얻을 수 있는 웹기반의 e-learning 시스템을 구현하는데 목적을 두었다.
