With the development of the Internet, electronic commerce, electronic markets, and digital economy, new business paradigm and new ways of business have been emerging and developing. The development of right and robust business models for electronic markets is a key for e-business success. This paper reviews previous studies and successful cases for e-business models. This paper presents strategic factors such as the business value and the source of revenue, products and services, business processes and technologies, and the characteristics of markets and relationship with customers and partners as a framework for developing sustainable and robust business models.

This paper proposes a new registry model for systematically referencing standards in e-Business field. We have many systems that provide standards and additional information. However, there are several problems such as inefficient standard information, dependency on a standard type, high standard information acquisition cost, no relations between standard information, and so on. In this paper, a new registry model and its prototype implementation are described. The proposed model is defined based on ISO/IEC 11179-Metadata registries, which is one of the international standards for interoperability between data. The proposed model provides an integrated- systematic standard information support, and also considers technology stack and business processes for e-Business systems. This paper develops a prototype for the proposed model and implementation result. Finally, to show the contribution of our proposal, this paper shows the comparative evaluation between previous systems and our proposal with various comparative items.

The purpose of this paper is to develop an evaluation model for e-government system in Korea which is one of world best practices of e-government systems. We have presented a method to perform an efficiency analysis of each e-government service which in a component of e-government system in Korea and to establish a benchmark target for each e-government service. To do this, the output-oriented DEA(Data Envelopment Analysis) CCR model was performed for the selected 12 e-government public services of Korean e-government system in this paper. As a result of DEA analysis, first the internet civil appeal support service, the employment comprehensive information service, and the company support information service were evaluated as the efficient solutions among the 12 e-government public services. Second the remaining 9 e-government public services were evaluated as the inefficient information services which should be improved in terms of their service levels. Finally the benchmark targets for the inefficient e-government services were suggested to improve those inefficient systems through DEA analysis.

With the rapid growth of e-logistics in the global logistics industry, it is important to gain further insight into this growing segment of Chinese logistics industry. The current situation in China consists of many small and medium-sized logistics firms. Furthermore, e-logistics is still relatively undeveloped in the majority of the Chinese logistics companies and presently there are still many problems unresolved. This paper attempted to review the concepts and theoretical background of e-logistics systems from previous studies. After acknowledging the essential issues related to e-logistics systems, a research model based on the theory acceptance model was designed and tested. The key factors to the e-logistics system (reliability, maintainability, software, facility and transportation) were validated through the modeling and testing process. Included in the modelling and testing process are other related factors of e-logistics process, logistics information system and added value as dependent variables in this model. The results of this study confirm that the e-logistics Process is affected by transportation, while maintainability and software factors influence logistics information system. reliability, maintainability, facility and transportation are significant factors associated with added value. This research aimed to provide theoretical and practical contribution to Chinese logistics companies and to give some insights into e-logistics system as a whole. The paper also provided some useful theoretical implication and practical guidelines for the development of e-logistics system in the chinese logistics industry.

Purpose - Nowadays financial technology is crucial for each organization to facilitate business transactions and make them easier. This paper was conducted with the purpose of determining the effect of fintech including services e-payment, bills e-payment, ways of payment and bank accounts with e-government on facilitating e-government services in terms of availability, accessibility, efficiency and responsiveness. Research design, data, and methodology - The problem of this paper is summarized in the lack of studies in this subject. So, a survey was applied on 400 respondents in Egypt to investigate the impact of fintech on facilitating e-government services, in order to determine which fintech item can affect any of facilitating services dimensions. Results - The results revealed that bank accounts with e-government doesn't affect any of facilitating services dimension, while each of the remain items has an effect on some dimensions and does not has effect on others. Conclusions - Data analysis revealed that the most obstacles that face respondents resulted in the weakness of internet networks, lack of efficient employees in e-government portal and lack of system effectiveness. In general, it clears that fintech implementation affect the dimensions of facilitating e-government services, however not all fintech implementation components have the same effect on the dimensions.

This paper is to analyze the Premature Quench characteristics of a rotating magnet type superconducting fluxpump and consider the method of detecting and protecting this premature quench. Practically, there is contact resistance between the fluxpump and the load, namely the S.C. magnet. The thermal increase due to the contact resistance cause the premature quench before the charging current amounts to the critical current of S.C magnet. Therefore, this paper is devoted to solving the heat equation on contact region using cylindrical coordinates and to calculating the rate of thermal increase during the current is pumped up. Doing so, the predictive value of the maximum pumping current is obtained. It has been verified that the results of simulation are coincident with those of experiment. It must be considered essentially to minimize the contact resistance in designing the S.C fluxpump system in order to protect the premature quench and improve the maximum pumping current.

With the expansion of internet usage and the advanced technology for information and communication, the international e-Trade environment gradually migrates from the VAN/EDI to the global Internet-based e-Traed on an ebXML framework. In an effort to provide a Internet-based e-Trade environment with a security and trust, this paper analyzes security components and proposed the SSL and ebXML security technologies in order to assure of the trust and security over Internet-based e-Trade. In addition, this paper presents 3-phase methodology to realize the secure and trustworthy Internet-based e-Trade. In summary, as the first phase, the e-Trade business processes are re-engineered and the digital signature council for mutual recognition is orgainzed. And as the second phase, the Internet-based e-Trade system and the concerned digital signature technology are implemented. Finally as third phase, the PKI mutual recognition agreement is signed by parties concerned and then the Internet-based e-trade business is started. Furthermore, this paper presents the promising Internet-based e-Trade models where the digital signature can be applied.

There are not enough information and service in current e-government practice because it only relier on text based information services. To make e-government more attractive and successful, scope of information and service should be broaden. To do so, GIS is necessary in the development process of e-government. This paper aims at exploring theories and technologies related to e-government and suggesting strategies for developing GIS based local e-government. In this paper, we particularly pay attention to the role of GIS for local e-government. Since many of local government data has spatial components, we believe that GIS would play a crucial role in developing local e-government. Thus, this paper tries to examine how GIS contribute to successful implementation of e-government. Then, it attempts to build a developmental model for GIS based e-government. Finally, it suggests strategies and policy measures for each development stage.

An e-catalog system provides whole product data and services by publishing newly updated information that connects PDM systems in an enterprise. With its capability to connect customers, suppliers, producers, distributors and downstream manufacturing activities, the e-catalog system can be applied to integrate e-business and provide immense business opportunities. In this paper we propose a framework focusing on constructing an efficient e-catalog system that can be used for online mass customization. The effectiveness of the proposed framework is validated with experimental results.
