KoFlux is a Korean network of micrometeorological tower sites that use eddy covariance methods to monitor the cycles of energy, water, and carbon dioxide between the atmosphere and the key terrestrial ecosystems in Korea. KoFlux embraces the mission of AsiaFlux, i.e. to bring Asia's key ecosystems under observation to ensure quality and sustainability of life on earth. The main purposes of KoFlux are to provide (1) an infrastructure to monitor, compile, archive and distribute data for the science community and (2) a forum and short courses for the application and distribution of knowledge and data between scientists including practitioners. The KoFlux community pursues the vision of AsiaFlux, i.e., "thinking community, learning frontiers" by creating information and knowledge of ecosystem science on carbon, water and energy exchanges in key terrestrial ecosystems in Asia, by promoting multidisciplinary cooperations and integration of scientific researches and practices, and by providing the local communities with sustainable ecosystem services. Currently, KoFlux has seven sites in key terrestrial ecosystems (i.e., five sites in Korea and two sites in the Arctic and Antarctic). KoFlux has systemized a standardized data processing based on scrutiny of the data observed from these ecosystems and synthesized the processed data for constructing database for further uses with open access. Through publications, workshops, and training courses on a regular basis, KoFlux has provided an agora for building networks, exchanging information among flux measurement and modelling experts, and educating scientists in flux measurement and data analysis. Despite such persistent initiatives, the collaborative networking is still limited within the KoFlux community. In order to break the walls between different disciplines and boost up partnership and ownership of the network, KoFlux will be housed in the National Center for Agro-Meteorology (NCAM) at Seoul National University in 2011 and provide several core services of NCAM. Such concerted efforts will facilitate the augmentation of the current monitoring network, the education of the next-generation scientists, and the provision of sustainable ecosystem services to our society.

Social network service (SNS) plays an important role in food service industry consumers SNS restaurants, and other consumers review the reputations. It was assumed that bad reputation could have poor food hygiene. Therefore, this study evaluated the relation between reputations SNS and food hygiene. Restaurants were searched using web portals and 12 restaurants (six for good and six for bad reputation) were selected. Microbiological analysis (total aerobic bacteria, coliform, and Escherichia coli) for main and side dish was performed. Detection frequencies for total aerobic bacteria were not different between good and bad restaurants. However, bad restaurants had higher detection frequencies (70.8%) with mean of 3.2 log CFU/g for coliform than good restaurants (62.5%; mean of 2.3 log CFU/g). In addition, bad restaurants had higher detection frequencies (25%) of E. coli with mean of 0.8 log CFU/g than good restaurants (8.3%; mean of 0.5 log CFU/g). This result indicates that consumer reputations SNS are related to food hygiene, and the reputation data can be used for food hygiene inspection by food safety agencies.

In this paper, we propose a routing protocol for WMNs to provide passengers in public transportation vehicles (e.g., bus and tram) with Internet access service. In order to support end users with a reliable Internet connection despite the mobility of vehicles, we assume that mesh router, called mobile mesh router (MMR), is installed in a vehicle and manages a route to Internet Gateway (IGW). We therefore propose an efficient routing protocol and its routing metric, called ETT-TR, considering trajectory information of vehicle as well as link quality in order to find a route between them. Using NS-2 simulations, we observe that our proposed routing protocol reduces the end-to-end delay and improves throughput performance.

Criteria for evaluating digital libraries have been suggested in prior studies, but limited research has been done to understand users' perceptions of evaluation criteria. This study investigates users' opinions of the importance of digital library evaluation criteria. Thirty user participants, including 10 faculty members and 20 students, were recruited from five universities across the United States. They were asked to rate the importance of evaluation criteria in eight dimensions (e.g. collections, information organization, context, etc.). The results demonstrate that users care about evaluation criteria related to the use and quality of collection and services rather than the operation of digital libraries. The findings of this study are relevant to the development of user-centered digital libraries and associated evaluation frameworks through the incorporation of unique users' needs and preferences.

Quality has long been considered as an important factor in creating competitive advantage, and researches on quality have not been limited to off-line products but actively extended to e-services and information goods. However, given the nature of multi-dimensional aspect of quality, the systematic study on the quality of online service is still in its early stage. Especially, studies on the quality of ASP services have been rare in academic and professional journals despite the growth of ASP industry in its size and the rapid expansion in the range of application. In this paper we clarified the multi-dimensional quality aspects of the ASP service using a Garvin's framework (1984) which encompasses the service aspects of Products, and developed a measurement model for ASP service qualify. Then we empirically tested the effects of ASP service quality on user satisfaction and perceived firm performance using the data from 240 Korean small firms with less than 50 employees that had experienced the ASP service. Our results show that there are positive relationships among ASP service quality and personal performance, user satisfaction and perceived firm performance, and that product and service-related aspects of ASP service exert differential effects on performance measures so that the product-related aspects of the ASP service such as performance, features, reliability and conformance are considered to be more important in evaluating benefits from ASP services. Contrary to the approaches In literature where only the quality of online services is evaluated, our results emphasize the importance of differentiating Product and service-related aspects of ASP service and provide a basis for more comprehensive evaluation of ASP service quality.

The regular inspection of vehicles that are in service in domestic country, i.e., vehicle safety and emission gas inspection have been forced by the korea transportation safety authority and a private servicing enterprise according to the vehicle administration law (1995). In the safety inspection process, which is developed by a compatible inspection system and method, every effort is made to increase the reliability of vehicle safety and the service quality, and to protecting national health. In this study, the reliability of the braking force inspection method in the current regular vehicle inspection was studied statistically by comparing the dynamic braking force inspection method with the static braking force inspection method. Further, the problems and characteristics of the current braking force inspection methods were analyzed. Form the results for the dynamic braking force inspection equipment (H), a mean correction factor (y=18.61+2.18x) was obtained for the axle braking force ratio according to vehicle entering velocity.
The purposes of this study were to : (a) examine the using pattern of college foodservice and off-campus restaurant and identify the important service quality attributes and levels for conjoint analysis, (b) investigate the demographic factor and the lunch behavior of "S" college's foodservice customer (c) search the optimum moving time to the college foodservice by cumulative graph, (d) identify the relative importance of the service quality attributes and level at college foodservice by conjoint analysis, and (e) provide the basic data for establishing new college foodservice. Questionnaire developed were conducted with 305 daytime students. A total of 284 were usable and the data was analyzed by the SPSS(ver. 11.0) for the descriptive analysis and conjoint analysis. ‘Low price’ was the reason for using college union foodservice, and the advantages of college union the foodservice were reported to be 'speediness', 'low price', 'near distance', 'wide space' and etc in a college. For off-campus restaurant, the using reasons were mentioned 'near distance', 'menu variety', 'kindness', and 'better taste and quality' and the using advantage found out 'inexpensive and enjoyable food with friends', and 'good taste'. An optimum time required for moving to the college foodservice was calculated 9 min by cumulative graph. As the relative important attributes on college foodservice were identified in the order of the ‘price range', the 'time required for the movement' and the 'food taste', and the level were analyzed the location requiring 6~10 minutes for the movement, the price range of 2,100~2,500 won, and the providing tasty foods by conjoint analysis. As "S" college will be established a new college foodsrevice suggested by the this study result, there should be expected the increasing salse and the college student's satisfaction on campus foodservice.
Purpose - The purpose of this study is to empirically analyze users' continuous use intentions using the characteristics of live commerce in China. Design/methodology/approach - Social presence, influence of information source (Wang Hong), convenience, marketability, reliability, personal innovativeness, and social influence were selected as elements that affect the perceived value of users, and an assumption that perceived value would affect continuous use intention was set. 515 samples were obtained from Chinese consumers through a Chinese online questionaire survey. IBM SPSS 26 and AMOS was used for statistical testing. Findings - First, social presence, Wang Hong, convenience, marketability, and reliability, which are the quality characteristics of live commerce services, affect the perceived value of users and user's continuous use intention. Second, the perceived value of users plays a mediating role between the quality characteristics of live commerce service and the continuous use intention. Third, personal innovativeness plays a moderating role in the effect of live commerce service quality on the perceived value of e-commerce users. Fourth, among the relative effects of the service quality characteristic variables, the relative effect of reliability is the greatest followed by that of convenience, marketability, and Wang Hong, in order of precedence, and the effect of social presence is the smallest. Research implications or Originality - South Korean government's plan to support for advancing into live commerce in China were presented as strategic implications for exporting South Korean products to China through online services including live commerce.

In this paper, we propose a new station selection algorithm to solve the illegal parking problem of shared electric scooters and improve the service quality. Recently, as a solution to the urban transportation problem, shared electric scooters are attracting attention as the first and last mile means between public transportation and final destinations. As a result, the shared electric scooter market grew rapidly, problems caused by electric scooters are becoming serious. Therefore, in this study, text data are collected to understand the nature of the problem, and the problems related to shared scooters are viewed from the perspective of pedestrians and users in 'LDA Topic Modeling', and a station extension algorithm is based on this. Some parking lots have already been installed, but the existing parking lot location is different from the actual area of tow. Therefore, in this study, we propose an algorithm that can install stations at high actual tow density using mixed clustering technology using K-means after primary clustering by DBSCAN, reflecting the 'current state of electric scooter tow in Seoul'.
The advent of 5G mobile communications, which is expected in 2020, will provide many services such as Internet of Things (IoT) and vehicle-to-infra/vehicle/nomadic (V2X) communication. There are many requirements to realizing these services: reduced latency, high data rate and reliability, and real-time service. In particular, a high level of reliability and delay sensitivity with an increased data rate are very important for M2M, IoT, and Factory 4.0. Around the world, 5G standardization organizations have considered these services and grouped them to finally derive the technical requirements and service scenarios. The first scenario is broadcast services that use a high data rate for multiple cases of sporting events or emergencies. The second scenario is as support for e-Health, car reliability, etc.; the third scenario is related to VR games with delay sensitivity and real-time techniques. Recently, these groups have been forming agreements on the requirements for such scenarios and the target level. Various techniques are being studied to satisfy such requirements and are being discussed in the context of software-defined networking (SDN) as the next-generation network architecture. SDN is being used to standardize ONF and basically refers to a structure that separates signals for the control plane from the packets for the data plane. One of the best examples for low latency and high reliability is an intelligent traffic system (ITS) using V2X. Because a car passes a small cell of the 5G network very rapidly, the messages to be delivered in the event of an emergency have to be transported in a very short time. This is a typical example requiring high delay sensitivity. 5G has to support a high reliability and delay sensitivity requirements for V2X in the field of traffic control. For these reasons, V2X is a major application of critical delay. V2X (vehicle-to-infra/vehicle/nomadic) represents all types of communication methods applicable to road and vehicles. It refers to a connected or networked vehicle. V2X can be divided into three kinds of communications. First is the communication between a vehicle and infrastructure (vehicle-to-infrastructure; V2I). Second is the communication between a vehicle and another vehicle (vehicle-to-vehicle; V2V). Third is the communication between a vehicle and mobile equipment (vehicle-to-nomadic devices; V2N). This will be added in the future in various fields. Because the SDN structure is under consideration as the next-generation network architecture, the SDN architecture is significant. However, the centralized architecture of SDN can be considered as an unfavorable structure for delay-sensitive services because a centralized architecture is needed to communicate with many nodes and provide processing power. Therefore, in the case of emergency V2X communications, delay-related control functions require a tree supporting structure. For such a scenario, the architecture of the network processing the vehicle information is a major variable affecting delay. Because it is difficult to meet the desired level of delay sensitivity with a typical fully centralized SDN structure, research on the optimal size of an SDN for processing information is needed. This study examined the SDN architecture considering the V2X emergency delay requirements of a 5G network in the worst-case scenario and performed a system-level simulation on the speed of the car, radius, and cell tier to derive a range of cells for information transfer in SDN network. In the simulation, because 5G provides a sufficiently high data rate, the information for neighboring vehicle support to the car was assumed to be without errors. Furthermore, the 5G small cell was assumed to have a cell radius of 50-100 m, and the maximum speed of the vehicle was considered to be 30-200 km/h in order to examine the network architecture to minimize the delay.
