병렬형 하이브리드 자동차의 구동장치 설계 및 해석 (Design and Analysis a Drive-train for a Parallel-type Hybrid Electric Vehicle)

  • This paper deals with the design and modal characteristics analysis of a drive-train for a paralleltype hybrid electric vehicle (HEV). The function of the drive-train system (DTS) in the HEV combines or divides the torque and velocity from the internal combustion engine along with the induction motor. The system consists of a compound planetary gear and unit's electromagnetic clutch to provide the operation modes such as Engine Only (EO), Electric Vehicle (EV), and Hybrid Electric Vehicle (HEV) modes. In order to investigate the characteristics of the velocity and torque flow for the system, dynamic models of the HEV with DTS are derived from the prototype DTS. The performance of the derived dynamic models is evaluated by both computer simulations and experiments according to each mode.

  • In this paper, the numerical analysis is introduced to predict the dynamic characteristics of piston pump assembly components in hydraulic piston pump for aircraft. Rotating cylinder block and reciprocating pistons are modelled kinematically. Furthermore, leakage flow and torque losses between the boundary surfaces of components are analyzed. This analysis has been carried out through the commercial CASPAR program. The simulations for stress on pump assembly components using the dynamic analysis model are performed using the ANSYS 11 program. Such dynamic characteristics and stress simulation procedures will be carried out repeatedly for the optimized design.

  • Developed in this research is a TP (tangible prototyping) system, which consists of two modules; (1) a virtual reality model to evaluate the functions and appearance of the product, and (2) a haptic device to emulate tactile and kinesthetic properties of mechanical dial knobs. As an example, a washing machine is modeled using a commercial CAD system and transformed in VRML and X3D formats. Some dynamic behaviors and kinematic characteristics are programmed using X3D script and Java. Various haptic behaviors of the dial are generated by modulating torque profile according to the rotation angle. A torque profile measuring system is developed to evaluate the behaviors of the haptic dial physically. Haptic sensibility evaluations are accomplished using the TP by semantic differential method.

  • In this paper, a new current control algorithm is proposed for four-switch three-phase brushless DC(BLU) motor drives, which are suitable for low cost applications. A current reference generation scheme is developed and Implemented to obtain high performance characteristics in the four-switch system, such as small torque ripple and fast dynamic speed/torque response. Moreover, the proposed scheme can successful1y eliminate the torque ripple during commutations, so that it can be expected that the four-switch system can be much more practically applied for the industrial application areas.

  • The switched reluctance motor(SRM) drive system provides a good adjustable speed and torque characteristics. However, because of the torque production mechanism, it also has some disadvantage such as higher torque ripple and fluctuation in speed. To reduce torque ripple and to control speed precisely, digital signal processor(DSP) is adopted. The DSP TMS320F241 was used to be realized this drive system. Test results show that the suggested control system has the ability of dynamic and precise speed control.

  • 본 논문에서는 저분해능 위치센서를 갖는 표면부착형 영구자석 동기전동기의 새로운 전류센서 없는 단위 전류당 최대 토크 제어를 제안한다. 영구자석 동기전동기의 수학적 모델로부터 d축 전류를 추정하고, 추정된 d축 전류가 영(零)이 되도록 d축과 q축 전압지령 사이의 위상 각을 제어하여 단위 전류 당 최대 토크 제어를 구현한다. 제안된 방식은 동적 응답 특성이 느린 저가 응용 분야에 적합하다.

  • In this paper, the influence of electrical parameters such as the turn-on and turn-off angle on the torque and force characteristics is investigated for the reduction of the torque ripple which is main source of vibration and noise in switched reluctance motor (SRM). The four different types of the turn-on angle are set to the section of rising inductance profile respectively. The optimum turn-on angle is proposed for the acquisition of the flat current shape minimizing the torque ripple. 2D finite element method (FEM) considering the iron saturation and the actual switching circuit of the SRM drive is applied for the dynamic analysis. The simulation results of phase current and torque are also compared to the experimental results.

동적제어에 의한 전력계통의 과도제어 특성 해석 (Transient Control Analysis of Power System by Dynamic Braking)

  • This paper analyzes the transient control characteristics of power system by dynamic braking. This method, one type of network switching, employs the injection of controllable shunt resistors at or near the generator bus after the disturbances. First, the power system is simulated mathematically for applying the dynamic braking. And the electrical transient control characteristics are considered by controlling the brake size and insertion time. Second, the mechanical torque of turbine-generator is calculted for the mechanical characteristics. This analysis results show that the electrical characteristics are improved but the turbine-generator shaft is impacted by brake switching. However, these problems can be solved by controlling the brake dynamically.
