IMM 필터 및 GLRT를 이용한 무인기용 엔진의 실시간 결함 진단 (Real Time Fault Diagnosis of UAV Engine Using IMM Filter and Generalized Likelihood Ratio Test)

  • IMM 필터 및 GLRT 기법을 이용하여 무인기용 엔진의 효과적인 실시간 결함 진단 방안을 도출하였다. 이를 위해서 엔진 동적 사이클해석으로부터 선형 진단 모델을 유도하고 잔차 추정을 위한 칼만필터를 도입한 후 각 기법의 특성을 고찰하여 엔진 제어 구동기 및 센서의 결함 진단에 적용하였다. 이 과정에서 IMM 필터로부터 효과적인 FDI 방안을 도출하였고 구동기 결함으로 인한 상태변수의 반응값을 추정하였으며, GLRT로부터는 구동기 및 센서의 결함값 추정과 FDI 기능을 확인하였다. 수치 모의시험 결과를 통해서 FDI를 위한 IMM 필터의 효용성과 각 결함 모드의 결함값 추정을 위한 GLRT 기법의 효용성을 확인하였다.

  • 다양한 기능의 새로운 물질을 합성하고 정적 및 동적 특성을 조사하기 위해서는 매우 안정된 고온 및 고압 조건을 만드는 것이 중요하다. 새로운 물질을 제조하는 데 필요한 다이아몬드 엔빌 셀 (DAC)을 사용하여 Mbar 범위의 고압 조건은 이미 확보되었다. 이 연구에서는 DAC와 결합된 레이저 가열 시스템을 설계하였으며, DAC의 양쪽 방향에서 시료를 가열하기 위해 2 대의 1064 nm, 100 W 파이버 레이저를 사용했을 뿐만 아니라 3 대의 분광기를 사용하여 온도, 압력 및 라만 스펙트럼을 측정하였다. 고압 실험에서 시료를 가두는 구멍으로 일반적으로 사용되는 스테인리스 강 개스킷을 가열하여 열 방사선원을 만들고, 이 방사선원으로부터 방출되는 복사 스펙트럼을 획득하여 가열된 개스킷의 온도를 측정하였다. 이 기술을 적용하여 다양한 물질들을 만들고 극한 조건에서 물리적 특성을 조사 할 수 있다.

이기종 분산 환경에서 동적 재구성이 가능한 통합 관리 및 모니터링 시스템 (Dynamic Reconfigurable Integrated Management and Monitoring System for Heterogeneous Distributed Environments)

  • 본 논문에서는 이기종 분산 컴퓨팅 환경에서의 관리 대상이 되는 시스템이나 애플리케이션들의 정보 모델을 동적으로 재구성하는 통합 관리/모니터링 시스템을 개발한다. 다양한 플랫폼 위에서 동작하는 하위 시스템들이 추가, 제거, 수정되는 상황에서 분산시스템을 효과적으로 관리하기 위해서는 분산 시스템의 형상과 통합 관리/모니터링 시스템의 정보가 일치해야 한다. 이에 시스템의 형상이 변화되었을 때, 시스템의 변경된 형상과 통합 관리/모니터링 시스템의 정보가 동기화되어야 하며, 동기화가 수행되는 동안 시스템은 정지 없이 모니터링 정보를 사용자에게 제공할 수 있는 가용성이 보장되어야 한다. 본 논문에서는 관리 대상인 하위 시스템에서 하드웨어나 소프트웨어의 형상의 변경이 있을 때 변경 내용을 통합 관리/모니터링 시스템에 통보하고, 통보된 정보를 바탕으로 관리 대상인 하드웨어 및 소프트웨어의 정보들을 동적으로 재구성 하는 방법을 제안한다. 이를 통해 어떤 이기종 분산 시스템도 통합 관리/모니터링 시스템에 반영하여 신뢰성 있는 통합 관리를 수행할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

역내 해양협력 및 신뢰증진을 위한 한국 해군의 기여방안 (ROK Navy's Role for a Confidence Building and Mutual Cooperation on the East Asian Sea)

  • We are witnessing the growing maritime tension on the East Asian sea these days. Each naval powers in the region are competing each other to acquire more advanced naval capabilities. Based upon the rapid economic development, China is actively beefing up its naval capabilities and expand its boundary of naval activities all over the East Asian region. Chinese Navy already unveiled its expansive naval strategy replacing the traditional concept of 'Near-Sea Defense' with the new concept of 'Far-Sea Defense' strategy. In response to potential rival's naval build up, the U.S. is redeploying its naval forces focusing on the Asia-Pacific region. The U.S. enhances its joint naval exercises with the countries in the region, such as Japan, India, Australia and so on. In addition, Washington is devising new naval strategy under the concept of 'Air-Sea Battle' to deter Peking's so-called 'Anti-Access/ Area Denial(A2AD)' strategy. As a close ally of the U.S., Japan also disclosed its clear intention to strengthen the Maritime Self Defense Force(MSDF)'s capabilities by introducing the new concept of 'Dynamic Defense Force' in 2011. Under the new concept, JMSDF is pursuing the additional acquisition of submarines, quasi-aircraft carriers, Aegis-equipped destroyers, etc. Under the new president's strong leadership, Russia is also invigorating the naval build-up. Especially, Russia is fortifying the Pacific Fleet's naval assets by deploying new-type of naval ships such as the Mistral which was imported from France. In the midst of competitive naval build-up among the major naval powers in the region, we are observing the growing maritime conflicts on the East China Sea as well as South China Sea. Those naval conflicts can pose severe threats to our national interests. Maritime conflicts on the East or South China Sea can imperil our sea lanes which will be indispensible for national economic development. Neighboring countries' maritime conflicts also will cast an uncertainty on the path to mobilize international cooperation to resolve the North Korean issues. We should contribute to ease the maritime tension in the region by various ways. First, we should actively galvanize the bilateral maritime dialogue among the major naval powers in the region. Second, we also should take the lead to form a multilateral maritime cooperation mechanism in the region. Above all, we should set the aim to be a peaceful maritime power who can contribute to a building of stable maritime order in the region with a considerable naval power.

한국형 기동헬기 전기체 지상진동시험 (Ground Vibration Test for Korean Utility Helicopter)

  • 한국형 기동헬기는 블레이드 가진주파수를 회피하고 지상 운용에서 로터와 기체의 동적 특성이 연계되어 나타나는 불안정성이 없도록 설계되었다. 이러한 설계 목적을 위해 진동 해석과 지상공진 해석을 수행하여 기체와 주로터의 동적 특성을 분석하였다. 이후 훨타워 시험을 통해 주로터의 동적특성을 확인하였으며 지상진동시험을 통해 기체의 동적 특성을 확인하였다. 지상진동시험은 지상 및 비행 운용 조건이 고려된 시험체 구성과 시험 조건을 적용하여 수행되었다. 본 논문에서는 한국형 기동헬기에 적용된 지상진동시험 방법 및 분석 기법을 보이고 해석 모델 보정기법과 보정된 해석 결과를 제시한다.

차량 탑재형 레이더 시스템의 구조물에 대한 연구 (The Study on the Vehicle-Mounted Radar System of Structural Design Under Environment Conditions)

  • The vehicle-mounted radar system (VMRS) including its electronic parts must be designed so that its performance is maintained under varying environmental conditions. The important aspects are typically weight and safety. Since many rotating VMRSs have been developed, discussion about the vibration and shock requirements for the transportation conditions has occurred: in addition, the dynamic unpaved, paved, and off-road effects have been emphasized with respect to lightweight designs. A lightweight-design VMRS should be capable of operating stably under the wind condition with the support of the vehicle structure. In this paper, a structural analysis regarding the support of the VMRS is performed, whereby the real-load conditions for three types of road and pressure were employed in terms of the wind condition. The structural analysis for the safety of the VMRS is performed, and the structural-integrity analytical processes of the VMRS are presented for different load conditions.

나노 니켈 분말의 가스건 고속압축을 통한 나노결정립 니켈 벌크재의 제조 및 물성 (Manufacturing and Evaluation of Properties of Nanocrystalline Ni bulk by Dynamic Compaction of Nano Ni powders using a Gas-gun System)

  • In this study, nanocrystalline nickel powders were cold compacted by a dynamic compaction method using a single-stage gas gun system. A bending test was conducted to measure the bonding strengths of the compacted regions and microstructures of the specimen were analyzed using a scanning electron microscopy. The specimen was separated into two parts by a horizontal crack after compaction. Density test shows that the powder compaction occurred only in the upper part of the specimen. Brittle fracture was occurred during the bending test of the compact sample. Dispersion of shock energy due to spalling highly affected the bonding status of the nanocrystalline nickel powder.

정보보호 산업 육성정책의 상대적 효과 분석 (A Dynamic Analysis on the Relative Effectiveness of Promoting Policies for Information Security Industry)

  • The focus of this paper is comparing relative effects of government policies for upbringing information security industry from the dynamic point of view. For the purpose of simplicity, these policies are classified into three groups, and then the relative effectiveness of these policy groups is examined using System Dynamics. The three policy groups are composed of technology development policies (TDP), human resource development policies (HDP), and direct supporting policies for overseas expansion (DSP). From the result of the analysis, DSP appears to be the most effective and HDP is the second-best group. By the way, for successful carrying into effect of DSP, marketing manpower should be strengthen. However, current HDP has been focusing on the bringing up technical experts. Therefore, overseas marketing manpower should be reared as well as technicians. Also, the existing infrastructure for overseas expansion for other industries should be shared for DSP of information security industry, because this is essential for success of DSP in terms of timing and costing. Finally, in spite of its low effect, TDP should be maintained continuously. The importance of information security technology is increasing and some countries have already considered these technologies as a core of future national defense. Therefore, we should acquire the competitiveness for a few technologies through continuous development of selected technologies at least.

LoGos: Internet-Explorer-Based Malicious Webpage Detection

  • Malware propagated via the World Wide Web is one of the most dangerous tools in the realm of cyber-attacks. Its methodologies are effective, relatively easy to use, and are developing constantly in an unexpected manner. As a result, rapidly detecting malware propagation websites from a myriad of webpages is a difficult task. In this paper, we present LoGos, an automated high-interaction dynamic analyzer optimized for a browser-based Windows virtual machine environment. LoGos utilizes Internet Explorer injection and API hooks, and scrutinizes malicious behaviors such as new network connections, unused open ports, registry modifications, and file creation. Based on the obtained results, LoGos can determine the maliciousness level. This model forms a very lightweight system. Thus, it is approximately 10 to 18 times faster than systems proposed in previous work. In addition, it provides high detection rates that are equal to those of state-of-the-art tools. LoGos is a closed tool that can detect an extensive array of malicious webpages. We prove the efficiency and effectiveness of the tool by analyzing almost 0.36 M domains and 3.2 M webpages on a daily basis.

The Design of a Small GNSS Receiver with Enhanced Interference Suppression Capability for High Mobility

  • The applications of Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) receivers are becoming wider in various commercial and military systems including even small weapon systems such as artillery shells. The precision-guided munitions such as Small Diameter Bomb (SDB) of United States can be used for pinpoint strike by acquiring and tracking GNSS signals in high mobility situation. In this paper, a small GNSS receiver with embedded interference suppression capability working under high dynamic stress is developed which is applicable to the various weapon systems and can be used in other several harsh environments. It applies a kind of matched filter and multiple correlator schemes for fast signal acquisition and tracking of even weak signals and frequency domain signal processing method to eliminate the narrowband interference. To evaluate the performance of the developed GNSS receiver, the test scenario of high mobility and interference environment with the GNSS simulator and signal generator is devised. Then, the signal acquisition time, navigation accuracy, sensitivity, and interference suppression performances under high dynamic operation are evaluated. And the comparison test with the commercial GNSS receiver which has high sensitivity is made under the same test condition.
