캠구동 슬라이더기구의 기구동역학 해석에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Kinetodynamic Analysis for General Disk Cam Driving Slider Mechanisms)

  • Kinetodynamics of a cam driving slider mechanism consists of kinematic analysis and force analysis. The kinematic analysis is to determine the kinematic characteristics of a cam driving mechanism and a slider mechanism. The force analysis is to determine the joint forces of links, the contact forces of the cam and follower, and the driving torque of a main shaft. This paper proposes a close loop method and a tangent substitution method to formulate the relationships of kinematic chains and to calculate the displacement, velocity and acceleration of the cam driving slider mechanism. Also, and instant velocity center method is proposed to determine the cam shape from the geometric relationships of the cam and the roller follower. For dynamic analysis, the contact force and the driving torque of the cam driving slider mechanism are calculated from the required sliding forces, sliding motion and weight of the slider.

노인 운전자의 공격적인 운전 상태 검출 기법 (A Method of Detecting the Aggressive Driving of Elderly Driver)

  • 공격적인 성향의 운전은 자동차 사고의 주요한 원인이 된다. 기존 연구에서는 공격적 성향의 운전을 검출하기 위해, 주로 청년을 대상으로 연구가 이뤄졌으며 기계학습의 순수한 Clustering 또는 Classification 기법을 통해 이뤄졌다. 그러나 노인들은 취약한 신체적 조건에 의해 젊은 운전자와는 다른 운전 강도를 가지고 있어 기존의 방식으로는 검출이 불가능 하며, 데이터를 보정하는 등의 새로운 방법이 필요하다. 그리하여, 본 연구에서는 기존의 클러스터링 기법(K-means, Expectation - maximization algorithm)에, 새롭게 제안하는 ECA(Enhanced Clustering method for Acceleration data)기법을 추가하여, 주행 차량에 위치한 스마트폰으로부터 수집된 가속도 데이터를 분석하고 공격적인 운전 형태를 검출해 낸다. ECA는 모든 피험자의 데이터에서 K-means와 EM을 통해 검출된 군집군의 데이터 중 높은 강도의 데이터를 선별하여, 특징을 스케일링한 값을 통해 모델링한다. 본 방식을 통해 기존의 연구의 순수한 클러스터링 방식과는 달리, 모든 청장년 및 노인 실험 참가자 개인들의 공격적인 운전 데이터가 검출되었으며, 클러스터링 기법간의 비교를 통해 K-means 기법이 보다 높은 검출 효율을 갖고 있음을 확인했다. 또한, K-means 방식을 검출한 공격적인 운전 데이터에서는 젊은 운전자가 노인운전자에 비해 1.29배의 높은 운전 강도를 가지고 있음을 발견했다. 이와 같이 본 연구에서 제안된 방식은 낮은 운전 강도를 갖고 있는 노인의 데이터에서 공격적인 운전을 검출 가능하게 되었으며, 특히. 제안된 방법은 노인 운전자를 위한 맞춤형 안전운전 시스템을 구축이 가능하며, 추후 다양한 연구을 통해 이상 운전 상태를 검출하고 조기 경보하는데 활용이 가능할 것이다.

  • We proposed driving method with variable integration time for ambient light sensing. One operation period of the proposed driving method consists of several sub-integration periods with variable integration time which can enlarge dynamic range of ambient light sensing circuit. Temperature dependent characteristic of p-intrinsic-metal (p-i-m) diode can be compensated using the proposed driving method.

  • Simulated driving behavior is an important aspect of realistic simulation systems. To simulate natural driving behavior, this paper proposes an imitation learning method based on active learning that combines demonstration and experience. Driving demonstrations are collected from human drivers in a driving simulator. A driving behavior policy is learned from these demonstrations. The driving demonstration dataset is augmented with new demonstrations that the original demonstrations did not contain, in the form of behaviors from another driving behavior policy learned from experience. The final driving behavior policy is learned from an augmented demonstration dataset.

천공 후 말뚝타격공법의 진동 $\cdot$ 소음 문제 해소를 위한 적정 이격거리 산정 방안 연구 (Estimating of Optimal Allowed Distance for Reducing Vibration and Noise Problems by Pile Driving after Drilling Method in Deep Foundation Work)

  • 깊은기초 시공시에 기초파일의 항타작업은 인접구조물 등에 진동을 야기하고 소음으로 인해 주변지역에 민원을 발생시키고있다. 이러한 문제로 진동 $\cdot$ 소음 문제를 직접 야기시키는 직타공법 보다는 주로 저소음 $\cdot$ 저진동 공법 인 천공 후 타격공법을 적용하는 사례가 증가하고 있다. 그러나 천공 후 타격공법도 일정거리 이내에서 시공을 할 경우 진동 $\cdot$소음을 유발시컥 민원으로 인한 공기지연을 초래하고 있는 실정이다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 건설 구조물의 구축을 위한 기초공사현장에서 말뚝공사를 할 때 발생하는 진동 $\cdot$ 소음을 천공 후 타격공법을 대상으로 지반조건이 상이한 7개의 현장에서 실측하여 이를 제정된 허용규제기준에 따른 적정 이격허용거리를 회귀분석 식으로 제시하고 있다. 이러한 연구 결과는 기초파일 공사시에 요구되는 적정 거리확보를 위한 기준역할을 하도록 하며, 인접 구조물이나 주민의 환경적 피해를 최소화하고, 나아가 공기지연으로 발생되는 클레임을 방지하는데 활용성을 갖도록 함에 연구의 목적이 있다.

  • Display devices are becoming increasingly important as an interface between humans and machines in the growing information society. In display devices, PDP (Plasma Display Panel) has many advantages in that it has wide screen, wide viewing angle and is light weight, thin. In PDP driving method, if the brightness of input image is high, applying the fixed sustain pulse to the PDP panel will raise the PDP power consumption and may damages the PDP panel. To overcome these problems, the Plasma AI driving method was introduced by the Matshushita co. in Japan. The Plasma AI driving module calculates the peak value and average value of 1 frame image and adjusts the gradation and sustain pulses for 1 frame sustain. In this paper, the proposed PDP driving module is based on the Plasma AI driving module. The proposed driving module calculates peak value and average value, and the brightness distribution of 1 frame image. Using brightness distribution, the proposed driving module divides 1 frame input image into 15 image patterns. For each image pattern, minimum sustain pulses and sub-frames are used for the brightness of 1 frame image and the sustain weight for 64, 128, 192 gradation is proposed. Therefore, the sustain power consumption can be reduced.

  • An optimal robust controller design method for gun driving system is discussed in this paper. The parameters of the gun driving controller are tuned by using the LQR characteristics for the performance and robustness. Tuning method that optimize velocity error gives a significant improvement over the existing PID tuning methods. It is shown that the tuning result of real gun driving system which is regarded as rigidness model or stiffness model satisfy performance and robustness.

  • The existing methods for installation of long steel pipe pile have some uneconomical problems such as increase of installation cost and period due to the welding of two piles and removal of soil plug, and decrease of driving efficiency due to the increase of driving resistance by time effect during the welding of piles and removal of soil plug, etc. Thus, in this study, new installation method for long steel pipe pile is suggested to work out the existing problems, and calibration chamber tests are peformed to investigate both driving and economical efficiency for the suggested method. The test results showed that the new installation method has increase bearing capacity as well as reduce installation cost and period for long steel pipe piles as compared with existing methods.

  • We have developed a new driving method named TROPHY(Talented Role-playing Technology with Dual Polarity sustainer in Hybrid Mono board). In this method, the sustain voltage is partially compared to the conventional method and the number of power sources is reduced by voltage level unification during the reset, address and sustain period. The hybrid mono board was especially developed to implement those technologies. Through this, we can lower the cost with the TROPHY compared to the conventional one. It is a suitable technology to improve the reliability of circuit and image sticking problem. We can also reduce the number of driving boards and the EMI problem compared with those of the conventional method.

Effect of turbulence driving and sonic Mach number on Davis-Chandrasekhar-Fermi method

  • Davis-Chandrasekhar-Fermi (DCF) method is a tool that is widely used to obtain the strength of the mean magnetic field projected on the plane of the sky. When there are independent eddies along the line of sight, the variation of polarization angle will decrease by the averaging effect. Therefore, the measured strength of the magnetic field can be overestimated. Cho & Yoo (2016) proposed a modified DCF method considering such effect. By using this, we quantitatively compared the results from the conventional DCF and the modified DCF methods for various sonic Mach numbers and driving schemes (the solenoidal and compressive driving). Here, we present that the modified DCF method does not show a strong dependence on the sonic Mach number or driving schemes either, while the conventional DCF method depends on the sonic Mach number for the compressive driving scheme.
