연속 전해드레싱을 적용한 세라믹재의 초정밀 래핑에 관한 연구 (A Study on Ultra-precision Lapping of Ceramics with In-Process Electrolytic Dressing)

  • Application of ceramics has grown considerably due to significant improvement in their mechanical properties such as light weight, chemical stability and superior wear resistance. Despite these character, the use of ceramics has not increased because of poor machinability. The method of using of super-abrasives metal bond wheel was proposed. But it is difficult that super-abrasives metal bond wheel can be dressed. Recently, the technology of in-process electrolytic dressing is developed to solve this problem. If this method is applied, loading and glazing are disappeared apparently. The aim of this study is to determine the machining characteristics in terms of lapping wheel speed, machining time, pressurized weight to the workpiece and peak current using in-process electrolytic dressing applied to the CIB-diamond lapping wheel to achieve ultra-precision lapping machining technique.

질소 추비량이 유색 보리의 생산성, 사료가치 및 안토시아닌 함량에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Nitrogen Top Dressing Levels on Productivity, Feed Value, and Anthocyanin Content of Colored Barley)

  • 이 연구는 기능성 사료용 보리의 생산 기술을 개발하기 위한 기초자료를 얻고자 식물체 전체에 안토시아닌이 함유된 겉보리인 '보안찰보리' 품종을 이용하여 전년에 구명된 안토시아닌의 축적을 높이기 위한 최적 추비 및 수확시기를 구명한데 (Song et al., 2011) 이어 최적 시비량과 생산성, 사료가치 및 부위별 축적정도를 검토하였다. 그 결과 질소 추비량이 증가함에 따라 출수기가 지연되었고, 초장은 80% 증비구에서 가장 컸으며, 건물율은 유의적으로 감소하였다 (p<0.05). 생초수량은 증가되는 경향이었으나 통계적인 유의성은 없었고, 건물수량과 TDN 수량은 처리구간에 차이가 없었다. 조단백질 함량은 부위별로 이삭 > 총체 > 잎 줄기 순으로 높았으며 (p<0.05), 질소 추비량의 증가에 따라 모든 부위에서 유의적으로 증가하였다 (p<0.05). NDF와 ADF는 부위별로 잎 줄기 > 총체 > 이삭 순으로 높았으며 (p<0.05), 질소 추비량의 증가에 따라 잎 줄기에서는 감소하였고, 총체와 이삭은 처리구간에 차이가 없었다. TDN 함량은 이삭 > 총체 > 잎 줄기 순으로 높았으며 (p<0.05), 질소 추비량의 증가에 따라 잎 줄기는 증가하였고 (p<0.05), 총체와 이삭은 처리구간에 차이가 없었다. 안토시아닌 함량은 부위별로 잎 줄기 > 총체 > 이삭 순으로 높았으며 (p<0.05), 질소 추비량의 증가에 따라 잎 줄기와 총체에서 유의적으로 감소하였다 (p<0.05). 특히 cyanidin-3-glucoside (C3G), delphinidin (Del), malvidin-3-glucoside (M3G), malvidin (Mal)의 감소가 가장 현저하였다 (p<0.05). 이상의 결론을 종합하여 볼 때, 이 연구에 이용된 '보안찰보리'는 잎 줄기에 안토시아닌 축적이 가장 많고, 조사료 수량을 고려하면서 안토시아닌 함량이 높은 조사료용 유색보리를 생산하기 위해서는 월동 후 생육재생기에 표준 추비량을 주는 것이 가장 유리한 것으로 판단되었다.

Negative Pressure Wound Therapy Applied to a Meshed Split-Thickness Skin Graft

  • Purpose: Skin grafting is used for the transfer of cutaneous tissue from one site of the body to another. To improve graft survival, close contact between the graft and the wound bed is essential for vessels to grow across the gap. Here, we introduce an easy and efficient dressing method to improve graft survival. Materials and Methods: A retrospective chart review was performed to identify patients who underwent split thickness skin graft and negative pressure wound therapy (NPWT) or conventional treatment between January 2007 and April 2015. Overall, 25 consecutive patients were included in the NPWT group and 49 were included in the conventional dressing group to compare the outcome of the procedure. The data were obtained from medical records, including age, sex, cause of the skin defect, size of graft, time for healing, wound preparation time, and complications. Results: Of the NPWT group, the average wound size was $147.04{\pm}146.74cm^2$ (range, $9{\sim}900cm^2$). With the exception of one patient, all wounds healed without the need for further procedure. The average duration of time required for the NPWT group, which was defined as removal of stitches (or staples) and no need for additional active dressing, was $6.4{\pm}1.97days$ (range, 5~15 days). The average time for the conventional dressing group was $10.78{\pm}2.38days$ (range, 5~15 days). Conclusion: NPWT can be used to cover regions in which wound healing does not occur fully or when neither tie-over nor compressive dressings are applicable. This treatment also reduced wound healing time and allowed earlier patient mobilization and hospital discharge.

지부자 피부도포가 히스타민 유발 소양감, 홍반, 팽진에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Kochiae Fructus on Histamine-induced Itch, Erythema and Wheal Responses in Normal Healthy Adults)

  • Objectives : Kochiae Fructus (dried fruits of Kochia scoparia L. Schrad,) is used in the treatment of skin diseases as internal or external medicine in Oriental Medicine, but there has not been experimental study of Kochiae Fructus as an external medicine. The purpose of this study was to investigate if it has certain effects on the skin or not. Methods : By a skin prick test method, we evaluated the effects of wet dressing with Kochiae Fructus decoction in different concentrations on histamine-induced itch, erythema and wheal responses, and compared them with the effects of calamine lotion and distilled water in 8 healthy volunteers aged 26-32. Results : The mean intensity and duration of itch were most decreased after wet dressing with a Kochiae Fructus decoction of 100mg/150ml. The time required for erythema to reach the maximal size was around 5 minutes in all groups, and the size of erythema was smallest on the skin taking wet dressing with the Kochiae Fructus decoction of highest concentration. The size of wheal was also smallest after wet dressing with the highest concentration Kochiae Fructus decoction. The effects of wet dressing with Kochiae Fructus decoction on skin were dependent on their concentrations. Conclusions : Kochiae Fructus suppressed the histamine-induced skin responses, which supports the ancient herbal literatures which describe that Kochiae Fructus has a certain effectiveness on some skin diseases.

  • 대맥의 생육시기별로 질소비료를 추비하여 맥체의 형태적, 물리적 특성에 미치는 영향을 검토코져 시험을 실시한 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 1. 질소 추비에 따른 대맥의 형태적 특성변화의 추이를 보면, 도복과 관련이 깊은 형질, 중, 3월 추비구가 제 3-5절간장이 짧아지고, 지상부 생체중, 단위간 건물중이 많으며, 간 외경, 내경이 굵고 간 벽후가 두꺼워 내도복성인 소질을 보였다. 2. 생리적 특성변화의 추이를 보면, 저항성을 표시하는 좌절하중, 좌절시 Bending moment가 3월 추비구가 가장 높아 도복저항성이 강하였다. 3. 간의 만곡난이를 나타내는 단면계수, 단면 2차 moment등이 3월 추비구가 극히 높아 만곡이 되지 낳고 도복의 종합적인 표시방법인 도복지수가 낮아 도복의 저항성 및 강도가 가장 강하였다. 4. 3월 추비구는 수중이 높고 주당수량이 높아 적전추비기로 구명되었다.

느릅나무 근피 드레싱이 흰쥐에 유발된 욕창의 조직재생에 미치는 효과 (The Effects of the Ulmus Root-bark Dressing in Tissue Regeneration of Induced Pressure Ulcers in Rats)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of the ulmus root-bark dressing on tissue regeneration in experimentally-induced pressure ulcers in rats. Method: A randomized pretest/post-test control group time-series study design was used. Thirty-three male Sprague-Dawley rats were used in this study. The rats were anesthetized with 100mg/kg of ketamine. Pressure ulcers were induced at 140mmHg for three hours using a personally-designed pressing apparatus. For four weeks, the ulmus root-bark dressing was applied every other day in the experimental group (n=18) and a wet gauze dressing in the control group (n=15). For data analysis, the statistical program SPSS WIN 12 was used. The wounds were examined by light microscopy andelectron microscopy. Result: There were significant statistical differences in the size of the pressure ulcers as time went by(p=0.006). It should be noted that there were no significant statistical differences in the number of capillaries. Using light microscopy the inflammatory infiltration and neovascularization in the dermis in the experimental group emerged densely in the early stages, but recovered rapidly at the latter stages. In addition, the reepithelization of the epidermis occurred earlier than in the control group. By electron microscopy, the cell organelles of the capillary endothelial cells and the basal lamina of capillaries in the experimental group showed a more rapid maturation during the latter stages, compared with the control group. Conclusion: According to this study, it can be concluded that the ulmus root-bark dressing is effective regarding the healing of pressure ulcers.

혼합유박 시용량 및 시용시기가 토양환경과 미질에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Application Time and Rate of Mixed Expeller Cake on Soil Environment and Rice Quality)

  • 벼 재배시 유기질비료에 의한 질소비료 대체를 위하여 혼합유박의 적정 시용량 및 시용시기를 구명코자 전북통에서 동진1호를 공시하여 2년 동안 시험한 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 시험 후 토양화학성 중 유기물 함량은 표준시비에 비하여 혼합유박 기비 100%구에서 높은 반면에 총질소 함량은 가장 낮았으며 유효인산 함량은 혼합유박 대체 시용량이 적을수록 높았다. 또한 표준시비구에 비하여 혼합유박 시용구에서 유기물 함량이 높았고, 유효인산, 총질소 함량 및 양이온치환용량은 혼합유박 시용시기가 늦을수록 낮아지는 경향을 나타냈으며 치환성양이온은 큰 변화가 없었다. 토양 중 무기태질소 함량은 혼합유박 시용량이 많을수록 높은 경향으로 수확기 무기태질소는 기비 70%, 50% 시용구에서 거의 용출이 완료되었으며 질소 $110kg\;ha^{-1}$를 혼합유박으로 전량 기비로 시용하였을 경우 시비질소의 무기태질소 함량은 시용시기가 늦을수록 많았으나 생육후기로 갈수록 낮아지는 경향을 보였다. 생육시기별 SPAD 측정치는 표준시비에 비하여 혼합유박 대체 시용량이 많을수록 높은 경향을 나타냈고, 생육중기까지는 혼합유박 시용구에서 표준시비구보다 짙은 반면에 생육후기에는 기비 70%, 50% 시용구에서 옅었으며 혼합유박 시용시기가 늦을수록 생육전반에 걸쳐 짙은 경향을 나타냈다. 또한 시비질소 흡수량은 혼합유박 대체 시용량이 많을수록 많았고 성숙기에는 기비 50% 시용구에서 표준시비구보다 흡수량이 적었으며 질소이용률은 기비 70% 시용구에서 가장 높았다. 혼합유박 시용시기가 이앙 전 10~15일 시용구에서 시비질소 흡수량이 가장 많았고 시용시기가 빠를수록 적어졌으며 질소이용률도 같은 경향이었다. 쌀 수량은 표준시비구($5.18Mg\;ha^{-1}$) 대비 기비 50% 시용구에서는 대등하였으나, 기비 70%, 100% 시용구에서 수수 및 영화수 확보가 많아 4% 증수되었고, 유박 시용구에서 2~5% 증수되었으며 특히 이앙 전 15~10일 시용구에서 높았다. 또한 시용시기가 늦을수록 간장과 수장이 길었고 수수와 영화수확보가 많았으나 등숙비율은 낮아지며 현미 천립중은 큰 차이를 나타내지 않았다. 현미의 외관적 품질 중 완전립 비율은 기비 100% 시용구에서 가장 낮았고, 완전미 비율은 기비 70%, 50% 시용구에서 높았으며 현미 중 단백질 함량은 혼합유박 시용으로 적은 경향을 나타냈다. 결론적으로 평야지 보통논의 혼합유박 적정 시용량 및 시용시기는 기비 70%, 이앙 전 10~15일 시용으로 판단되었다.

  • Electrolytic in-process dressing grinding technique which enables application of metal bond wheels with fine superabrasives in mirror surface grinding operations has developed. It is possible to make efficient precision machining of hard and brittle material such as ceramic and hard metal by the employment of this technique. However, in order to ensure the success of performances such as efficient machining, surface finish, and surface quality, it is important to sustain the insulating layer that has sharply exposed abrasives in wheel surface. Using AE(Acoustic Emission) sensor, this paper will show whether the insulating layer sustains stably or not in real grinding time. And by comparing AErms value and surface roughness their thresholds for stable electrolytic in-process dressing grinding will be determined.

  • The authors aimed to analyze the quality improvement efficiency of wound dressing with 2-octyl cyanoacrylate(2-OCA) in stereotactic image guided linear or sigmoid incisions in a cohort of consecutive craniotomy patients, and to compare clinical results with those of iodine-dressing and silk sutured patients underwent conventional craniotomy surgery with large pedicle flap incisions without stereotactic guidance. In methods, 26 patients were involved as the study group at one hospital. We retrospectively compared their results with those of 38 consecutive control patients at the same unit. The suggested new medical material, 2-octyl cyanoacrylate(2-OCA), resultantly decreased or prevented the contaminated fluid influx from scalp outside. The mean infection rate for the control group (7.89%) was relatively higher than that of the study group (3.85%). In addition, the use of stereotactic image guided craniotomy was significant to reduce operation time, to simplify operative procedures and to decrease potential risk factors.

  • This paper is to analysis covering and exposing elements through surface in the spirit of the time through the meaning of relationship between structure and symbol(ornament) in the theory of dressing of Gottfrid Semper. In other words, The purpose is to illuminate how complementary tectonic between structure and symbolic of an architecture surface is expressed in accordance with the biased required conditions relating with the paradigm of the era. The advancement of the new method of tectonic and the new aesthetic taste have a deep relation with the reconsidering the dichotomy classification discussing a dominant position between structure and symbol(ornament). Expression of surface representing the era comes across the combined interpretation of technology, structure, and the non-physical culture's art of the community and the era.
