한국의 흰꽃 피는 꽃다지속 (십자화과) 두 종 (Two white-flowered Draba (Brassicaceae) species from Korean flora)

  • 한국의 십자화과 꽃다지속 식물 우수리꽃다지 (Draba ussuriensis Pohle)를 백두산에서 새로이 발견하여 보고한다. 본종의 특징은 꽃이 흰색이고 다년생인 점이 구름꽃다지(Draba mongolica Turczaninow)와 유사하지만, 줄기와 과경에 털이 없고 경엽의 수가 작은 점이 구름꽃다지와 다르다. 국명은 학명의 종소명에서 유래한 이름을 사용하였다. 또한 과거 백두산 및 관모봉 지역에서 자라는 구름꽃다지는 D. incana L., D. glabella Pursh, D. nipponica Makino, D. daurica DC. 등으로 혼돈하여 알려졌다. 그러나 백두산 및 관모봉에서 채집한 표본들을 조사하고 유연종들과 비교분석한 결과 D. mogolica로 밝혀져 그간 잘못 사용된 학명을 바로 잡았다. 따라서 한국산 꽃다지속 식물은 흰꽃 피는 두 종과, 노란색 꽃이 피는 꽃다지를 포함하여 총 3종이 분포한다.

Antioxidant Polyphenol Glycosides from the Plant Draba nemorosa

  • Bioassay-directed fractionation of Draba nemorosa led to the isolation of two new phenolic glycosides, 1-O- (sinapoyl)-glucitol (2) and 1,3-disinapoylgentiobiose (5) along with five known phenolic glycosides (1, 3, 4, 6, and 7). Their structures were characterized based on spectroscopic methods (2D NMR, HRTOFMS, IR, and UV). The isolated compounds showed antioxidant activities (IC50) in the range of 14-98 mM which were estimated by DPPH radical-scavenging assay.

순무 모자이크 바이러스(TuMV)의 새로운 기주식물 탐색 (New Host Plants of Turnip Mosaic Potyvirus in Korea)

  • Turnip mosaic potyviruses (TuMV) were isolated from Rorippa indica and Armoracia lapathifolia showing mosaic symptoms in field. Identification of the TuMVs were carried out by host reactions of indicator plants, electron micrograph, serological properties and reverse transcription-poly-merase chain reaction (RT-PCR). Both viruses systemically infected Chenopodium quinoa, Nicotiana clevelandii, Brassica rapa, B. campestris subsp. pekinensis, B. juncea and Raphanus sativus, and developed local infection on inoculated leaves of C. quinoa, C. amaranticola, C. album, N. tabacum cv. Xanthi nc and Gomphrena grobosa. However, the viruses did not infect on N. glutinosa, Cucumis sativus and Vigna unguiculata. The filamentous particles, about 720 nm in length, and inclusion bodies were observed from the infected leaf tissues by dipping on electron microscopy. Crude sap of leaf infected with the viruses was reacted positively with an antiserum of TuMV in agar gel double diffusion. For detection of the viruses, RT-PCR was carried out with TuMV--specfic oligonucleotide primer. The RT-PCR products, a 1,092 bp DNA fragment, were obtained from naturally infected leaves of R. indica and A. lapathifolia. In inoculation test to seven cruciferous weeds with TuMV, infection occurred in Arabis glabra, Barbarea orthoceras, Capsella bursa-pastoris, Draba nomorosa var. hebecarpa, Rorippa cantoniensis and Thlaspi arvense.

이안천의 식생분포 (Distribution of riparian vegetation in Ian Stream)

  • The complex vegetation and plant species distributions within riparian corridors influence plant species diversity patterns at both local and regional scales and further reflect both natural and anthropogenic disturbances. Because of these characteristics, riparian zones are often the ecosystem level component that are most sensitive to changes of the surrounding environment; they provide early indications of environmental change and can be viewed as the important source in the watershed. The objectives of this study were two concepts: first, document the composition and dominance of plant communities of riparian areas in the stream, second, compare species composition and temporal diversity between stations in riparian areas of the Ian Stream. The flora was composed to total 158 kinds of the vascular plants as 49 family, 54 genera, 145 species, 12 varieties, 1 forma When the naturalized plant were applied to the recent classification system 280 kinds, the naturalization rate was $10.8\% higher than that of mean value($10.3\%$) of the Korean mountain district. Furthermore, urbanization index (UI) was $6.1\%$. The dominant vegetation communities were distributed in the habitats of three compartments from upstream to downstream. The vegetations were included Phragmites japonica, Salix gracilistyla, S. hulteni and Robinia pseudo-acacia in the riparian area, and Persicaria sieboldii, Stellaria alsine var. undulata, Draba nemorosa var. hebecarpa, Capsella bursa-pastoris, Lepidium apetalum, Bidens frondosa, Trigonotis peduncularis and Hemistepta lyrata in the sandbank or the riparian area, and Equisetum arvense, Humulus japonicus, Persicaria perfoliata, Trifolium repens, Artemisia princeps var. orientalis, Lactuca indica var. laciniata, Avena fatua, Agropyron yesoense, Oenothera odorata, Viola mandshurica, Rumex crispus in banksides, respectively.

Stereoscope를 이용한 미세종자류 한약재 외부형태 감별연구(제3보(報)) - 사원자(沙苑子)와 황기자(黃芪子), 정력자(葶藶子) - (Identification of Morphological Appearance of Fine Seed Herbs Using Stereoscope (Report III) - Phyllolobii seu Astragali, Lepidii, Descurainiae, Drabae Semen -)

  • Objectives : This study is to propose the identification keys based on stereoscopic examination of 8 seed herbs in 2 categories (Phyllolobobii Semen (PS) with 4 Astragali Semen (AS), and 2 Lepidii seu Descurainiae Semen (LDS) with 1 Drabae Semen (DS)) which have difficulties in discrimination with visual observation. Methods : We reviewed the description of original plants and their medicinal parts from the literature. The original plants were collected, identified, confirmed as specimens, and compared to the samples distributed in the market. The first identification was made by visual observation, and insufficient points were supplemented by stereoscopic observation. Identification criteria were set by considering morphological characteristics of authentic herbs, percentage of adulterants, and distinction between authentic herbs and adulterants. Results : The original plants of PS and AS could be distinguished by upright or lying form of stem, color of flowers, number of leaflets, and presence of hair of fruits. LDS and DS could be distinguished by leaf arrangement on stem: radical or cauline, whole plants size, leaf division, color of flowers, and shape of fruits. The herbal medicines of PS and AS could be distinguished by seed surface pattern, size, and hardness. LDS and DS could be distinguished by size, shape, viscosity when chewed, and degree of mucous layer formation when soaked in water. Conclusions : This study suggests the identification keys of original plants and herbal medicines. Especially, since fine seed herbs are difficult to distinguish by visual observation, the stereoscope should be applied to the discrimination.

암치료에 있어서 체질과 항암효과에 관한 한의학적 연구 (The Oriental medical study for Constitutions and Anticancer effect on Cancer therapy)

  • As one of the chemical and experimental study on cancer treatment in Korea oriental medicine, we investigated the clinical characteristics on the treatment of cancer patients in oriental medical hospital. Furthermore, we carried out the cytotoxicity test of extracts of herbal medicine. The results are as follows: About Clinical Aspects of the Orient낄 Medical Cancer Treatment- (1) Clinical experience is that 420 Oriental medical hospitals were surveyed. Number of cancer patiens treated by one oriental medical doctor was under 10(about 60%)or from 10 to 20(about 30%). (2) Diagnostic Procedure Is that more than 80% of cancer patients were diagnosed by medical doctor of western hospital. (3) Therapeutic Method is that combination of oriental and western medical treatment was used in oriental medical hospital. (4) Relationship between cancer and constitutions is that to the relationship between cancer and constitutions, about 75% responded and most were considered to be Um. About Experimental Study- Toevaluate the direct cytotoxicity of hot water and methanol extracts of 34 oriental medical prescriptions on stomach cancer cell, SRB assay was carried out. (1) The $IC_{50}$ value of water extract of Samsoum was $19{\mu}g/ml$ and that of methanol extract was $15{\mu}g/ml$ so that we confirmed Samsoum has a strong direct cytotoxicity. (2) The $IC_{50}$ values of water extract of Coptidis Rhizoma, methanol extract of Caesalpiniae Lignum and Draba Semen were $10{\mu}g/ml$, $9{\mu}g/ml$ and $12.5{\mu}g/ml$ respectively, so that we confirmed Coptidis Rhizoma, Caesalpiniae Lignum and Drabs Semen have a strong direct cytototoxicity. (3) The $IC_{50}$ lalue of combinatory prescription of Rhei Rhizoma, Forsythie Fructus and Caesalpiniae Lignum was about $40{\mu}g/ml$.

한국(韓國) 야생(野生) 잔디의 재배기술확립(栽培技術確立)을 위한 연구(硏究) - 제(第) 1 보(報) 주요잡초(主要雜草) 조사(調査) 및 방제법(方除法) 구명(究明) (Establishment of Management Practices in Korean Turfgrass (Zoysia japonica Steud.) - 1. Survey of Major Weed Species Occurring in Korean Turfgrass and Their Control Methods)

  • 한국(韓國)의 야생(野生)잔디가 재식(栽植)되에 있는 잔디밭을 대상(對象)으로 문제잡초구명(問題雜草究明) 및 잡초방제방법구명시험(雜草防除方法究明試驗)에서 얻어진 결과(結果)를 요약(要約)하면 다음과 같다. l. 본(本) 조사지역(調査地域)에서 발생(發生)된 잡초종류(雜草種類)는 40여종(餘種)이었고 발생빈도(發生頻度) 및 발생량(發生量) 면(面)에서 크로바, 바랭이, 방동산이, 망초, 꽃다지 등이 문제(問題)의 잡초(雜草)로 구명(究明)되었다. 2. 경산(慶山) 칸트리클럽 주변(周邊)의 조사지점(調査地點)에서는 크로바, 바랭이, 꽃다지, 방동산이, 망초 등이 공존(共存)하는 군락형(群落型)으로 Simpson's Index가 0.306이었고 경북대(慶北大) 캠펴스내(內)의 조사지점(調査地點)에서는 Simpson's Index가 0.776으로 주로 크로바가 우점(優占)하는 군락형(群落型)을 보였다. 전체(全體)의 건물중(乾物重) 증가양상(增加樣相)에는 두 지역간(地域間)에 시간적(時間的) 차이(差異)는 있으나 유사(類似)하였다. 3. 크로바와 광엽잡초(廣葉雜草)가 우점(優占)하는 지역(地域)에 MCPP 3.4kg (a.i.)/ha를 2회(回) 처리(處理)는 경미한 약해(藥害)가 있기는 하나 84.1%의 높은 방제효과(方劑효果)를 나타냈으며 MCPP 2.2~2.8kg (a. i.)/ha 처리(處理)도 약해(藥害)는 전혀 없으며 높은 방제효과(方劑效果)를 나타냈다. 4. 2,4-D 성분량(成分量)으로 2.0kg/ha 처리(處理)는 MCPP 3.4kg (a.i.)/ha 에 준(準)한 방제효과(方劑效果)를 나타내지는 못하였으나 높은 방제율(防除率)을 보였으며 약해(藥害)를 고려(考慮)할 때 2,4-D 1.0kg (a.i.)/ha 정도면 광엽잡초방제(廣棄雜草防除)에 유효(有效)할 것이다.

잔디밭잡초 발생현황과 방제기술 (The Occurrence of the Weeds on the Lawn and the Effective Control System)

  • 잔디밭에 발생하는 잡초를 파악하고 효율적인 방제체계를 확립하기 위하여 문헌조사를 하였다. 공원 등 잔디밭에 발생하는 잡초는 방동사니대가리 등 사초과 3종, 바랭이, 새포아풀 등 화본과 9종, 쑥, 꽃다지, 피막이 등 광엽잡초 25종 등 총 16과 37종이나, 산지와 인접한 묘지 잔디밭에는 53과 196종의 잡초가 발생하고 있다. 그러므로 산지와 인접한 골프장에서는 묘지에서 발생되는 잡초들이 만연할 가능성이 많다. 잔디밭에 발생되는 잡초를 효율적으로 관리하기 위해 등록된 제초제는 2012년 5월말 현재 토양처리제는 디클로베닐입제, 메티오졸린유제, 옥사지클로메폰액상수화제, 이마자퀸입제 등 32품목, 경엽처리제로는 메타미포프유제, 비페녹스.플루세토설퓨론입상수화제, 플라자설퓨론수화제, 트리플록시설푸론소듐입상수화제 등 35종 총 67품목이 있다. 잔디밭에서의 잡초방제체계는 일반적으로 토양처리제는 3~4월과 8~9월에 2회 처리하고, 경엽처리제는 6~7월에 처리하면 효과적으로 잡초를 방제할 수 있다.
