본 논문은 휴대단말을 위한 차세대 인터페이스 기술을 수용하기 위한 지능형 사용자 인터페이스 플랫폼인 SUIP를 기술한다. SUIP 플랫폼은 안드로이드 플랫폼을 확장하여 새로운 인터페이스 장치를 수용할 수 있도록 개발되었다. 새로운 인터페이스에 대한 응용 개발을 위하여 소프트웨어 모듈의 동적 로딩 기능을 지니고 있다. 또한, 사용자 인터페이스 품질을 높이기 위한 외부 장치 활용을 위한 플래폼 기술과, 서비스에 따른 전력 소모를 줄이기 위한 동적 인터페이스 스위칭 기술도 포함하고 있다.

기존의 휴대폰에 탑재된 메모기능은 단순히 문자정보만을 기록할 수 있고, 공유할 수 없는 일회성 데이터에 불과했다. 이를 보완하기 위해 본 연구에서는 마인드맵(Mindmap) 표기법을 도입하여 멀티미디어 자료를 포함한 메모의 연계성과 관리효율성을 높이고, 백업서버와 웹서버의 연계로 정보를 공유할 수 있는 시스템을 설계하였다. 그리고 이러한 기능들을 구글의 개방형 모바일 플랫폼인 안드로이드(Android)와 리눅스(Linux) 서버의 연계로 구현하였다.

One of the major factors influencing the phenomenal growth of the smart phone market is the active development applications based on open environments. Despite difficulties in finding and downloading applications due to the small screens and inconvenient interfaces of smart phones, users download applications nearly every day. Such user behavior patterns indicate the significance of smart phone applications. So far, studies on applications have focused mainly on technical approaches, including recommendation systems. Meanwhile, the issue of culture, as an aspect of user characteristics regarding smart phone use, remains largely unexamined throughout the world. Hence, the present study attempts to analyze the highest ranked smart phone applications downloaded and paid for that are ranked the highest in 10 countries (Korea, Japan, China, India, the UK, USA, Indonesia, Canada, France, and Mexico) and we then derive the CDSC (Cultural Dimensions Score of Content) for these applications. The results derived are, then, mapped to the cultural dimensions model to determine the CISC (Cultural Index Score for Country). Further, culturally significant differences in smart phone environments are identified using MDS analysis.

Multiple sequence alignment (MSA) is the most important step for many of biological sequence analyses, homology search, and protein structural assignments. However, large amount of data make biologists difficult to perform MSA analyses and it requires much computational time to align many sequences. Here, we have developed a simple and fast web alignment tool for aligning, editing, and visualizing large amount of sequence data. We used a cluster server installed ClustalW-MPI using web services and message passing interface (MPI). It also enables users to edit multiple sequence alignments for manual editing and to download the input data and results such as alignments and phylogenetic tree.

악성코드 유포를 위해 가장 많이 사용되는 Drive-by-download 공격에는 주로 자바스크립트가 사용되며, 공격자는 탐지 시스템의 우회하고 행위 분석을 어렵게 하기 위해 공격에 사용되는 스크립트를 난독화 한다. 난독화 된 자바스크립트를 탐지하기 위한 여러 기존의 연구들이 있었지만 최소한의 코드가 난독화 되어 있거나 정상 코드와 혼재할 경우 난독화 여부를 판단하기 어려운 한계가 있다. 본 논문에서는 난독화 된 자바 스크립트를 효과적으로 탐지하기 위해 전체 스크립트를 실행 단위 코드로 나눠 분석에 필요한 특징을 효과적으로 추출하는 방법을 제안한다.

File sharing through P2P was decided as illegal according to Supreme Court of the U.S. and the Highest Court of Korea in 2005. Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Studios Inc. et al. v. Grokster, LTD., et al. and Soribada v. Korea Association for Music Providers have the same ground for decision. P2P service company has vicarious liability for illegal file sharing of its customers. Balance between copyright protection and development of technology was considered in that decision. Programmer who will develop new program for free download and copyright holders who will exploit every measures to protect their right may compromise for their mutual benefits.

스마트 모바일 장치는 HD 디지털 컨텐츠가 창조될 수 있도록 했고, 사용자가 어디있든간에 그것을 접하는 것이 가능할 수 있도록 하였다. 그러나 스마트 모바일 장치는 저장공간의 제약과 같은 필연적인 하드웨어 제약이 있다. 이 논문에서 우리는 사용자들이 그들의 집에있는 데이터에 매끄럽게 접근할 수 있는 이해하기 쉬운 WebDAV 기반 가상 저장 시스템(DAVSS)을 제안한다. 우리가 구현한 프로토타입 결과물은 저장공간이 한정된 장치에 제안된 해결책(DAVSS)이 실현가능함을 보여준다.

본 논문에서는 이더넷 장비의 단대단(End-to-end) 성능시험에 기반한 시험 방법론을 기술하고 이것을 이용하여 실제로 이더넷 허브를 시험한 결과를 제시한다. 시험대상장비에 입력과 출력을 통해 장비만의 성능을 측정하는 방법과 달리 클라이언트-서버모델 기반의 단대단 성능시험은 시험대상장비에 연결된 사용자의 입장에서 장비의 성능을 측정하므로 사용자 관점에서 객관적이고 직관적인 비교 데이터를 제시해줄수 있는 장점이 있다. 본 논문에서는 단일 네트워크 장비, 특히 이더넷 장비의 성능시험에 이러한 클라이언트-서버 모델을 적용하기 위해 여러 가지 사용자 응용. 예를 들면 파일 업로드(File Upload), 파일 다운로드(File Download), 질의(Inquiry), 신용 확인(Credit Check) 등을 수행할 때 처리율(Throughput)이나 응답시간(Response Time)을 측정하여 결과를 분석한다. 그리고 본 논문에서는 단대단 성능평가 방법론과 함께 시험대상 장비만의 처리율을 측정하여 단대단 성능평가의 단점을 보완하는 방법도 제시한다.

The paper presents a multimedia educational program of DC servo drives for distant learning with a special emphasis on sliding mode control. The program contains of three parts: animation, simulation and internet based measurement. The animation program explains the operation of DC motors, gives its time- and frequency-domain equations, transfer functions and the theoretical background necessary for controller design for DC servo motors. The simulation model of the DC servo motor and the controller can be designed by the students based on the animation program. The students can also test their controllers through the internet based measurement, which is the most important part from engineering point of view. After the measurements are executed, the students can download the measured data and compare them to the simulation results.

Nowadays, Intelligent Electronic Devices(IED) are widely used in power system. In order to improve the selectivity, sensitivity, and reliability of the power system composed by IEDs, A new fault tolerant IED system based on agent technique is presented in this paper. in the presented system, different with existing IED systems, the redundancies are drawn out from IED devices, and compose a standby backup system. And those redundancies are not specified to a particular type of IEDs. By using the agent technique, redundancies can download agents to modify their functions to fit different types of IEDs. As a conclusion, the reliability of the presented system is estimated in this paper.
